Dean's Produce

Some very reasonable prices, got a pint of blueberries for $2.59 but 95% of the boxes had mold on them, not really their fault though. Got the kale for $1.79 too, looked good. Tons of options overall, it's clean inside, and quick service. $5 credit card minimum.

Here all the products are fresh and selected. You can even find my favorite «сгущенка»condensed milk, cottage cheese творог, nuts, tea, delicious cheeses, kinders, Roshen goods, etc.

Breads, imported chocolate, smoked fish, pasta, it's a lot more than just produce. I do like the fruits and veggies there too

They have great stuff. Italian chestnuts - it's getting late in the season - you can try roasting them don't forget to cut them or they will expose.😺💣

By chance I went into this place. At first I wasn’t sure what I would find . I heard Greek music playing. Very organized market. Friendly staff. Most of all great products!!!!! I drove from Antioch, ca and it was really worth my while. Not to mention running into a friend I haven’t seen in years!!!!! If I can give this place 100⭐ I would!!! I will be back soon!!!!! This is one of my favorite produce/imports stores in San Mateo. I normally come here for dried figs, dates, imported chocolates, and tea.

Easy access from the back part of the store if you park out in back and the staff are always pleasant and attentive. I love this place, I shop here frequently.

I really really really love Dean's produce! Small little neighborhood grocery store with a good amount of healthy lifestyle options and great pricing. I only go here for all my produce. Cheaper than competitors. The only negative thing i can say is if you buy organic berries expect to eat them the same day or following morning. Every time i get berries they are bad after 24 hrs. Its okay i still love this place and they have friendly owner and staff!

Cutest little store with a bunch of fresh produce and Mediterranean products. I love coming here as the workers are always friendly and professional.

I love shopping at Dean's. Their fresh fruits and vegetables are terrific. They are so busy that all their produce turns over very quickly. Plus, they have high-quality imported products I haven't found elsewhere. An example is: I love this particular brand of honey, I haven't found anywhere else, that's soooooo good. Yum

Great ethnic grocery store! Smaller place but great selection of European, Middle Eastern and other ethnic foods. Has big selection of fruits and vegetables. Street metered parking. Staff is helpful but could be more courteous. Blasting Greek and international music including punk sometimes. :)

Great small store that has most of what you need. We always go there for seasonal fruits as they are very good quality and ripe. They also have Dean's Produce in Millbrae and that one seems to have more variety on some food categories.

High selection of produce, very quick and easy to go in, grab produce, and get out.
Avocados are usually just ripe enough for use the same night. Tomatoes, carrots, and onions have all been good quality here so far. Would buy other produce here, will shop there again.

One of three terrific groceries in a 2 block area on 4th Ave, Dean's has a great selection of produce, nuts, and dried goods, a wide variety of Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, and Central European-styled foods, and other items that don't overlap much with offerings from other nearby stores. The large selection of inexpensive spices is particularly pleasing if you are tired of tiny $7 bottles from McCormick. There's even a great assortment of flours and grains from Bob's Red Mill.

Reasonable prices, beautiful and fresh produce, great selection of Greek, Isreali, and Mexican items. Ample spices to choose from. Love the layout of produce and refrigerated items. Friendly staff. Will go out of my way to come back again!!

Love going to this store for their diverse selection of produce. They also carry a ton of interesting European foodstuffs that you can't find at regular grocery stores. Best of all, their prices are way more affordable than the big chains.
