One of the best store I had been. My husband wears only Keen shoes and he bought his 10th pair yesterday. He works at Stanford and he had to walk all day, he is saying that Keen shoes are quite comfortable, sturdy and slip resistant. We love this store, the feeling like takes you into a different world. Maya provided an excellent service, she was there from the moment we walked in until we left. My husband so picky and took longer to find one, you know he bought his last pair two years and their technology is changing so he knew the Keen shoes inside and out. Well he is happy with his purchase . The Manager was quite friendly too. The only lacking was suggestive selling like a pair of socks, their cute hats and bags. I like their revolving display of shoes where you kinda pick what you want and all items were priced. The location was well maintained and clean. It was packed yesterday, all coming out smiling with their purchases on their hand. I highly recommend this store.

Amazing customer service!! All staff very knowledgeable of their products. 2 staff personally helped size our feet. Very fast, excellent and helpful service!! And the most comfortable steel-toe shoes I've ever worn!! (Compared to industry-leading brands like Wolverines) also they are PFAs-free! (Chemical free!!)

I bought these shoes today, and I usually don't feel compelled to leave reviews. However, the experience I had today compelled me to take the time to share my thoughts. The lady who assisted me, unfortunately, I forgot her name, but she was truly amazing. Right from the beginning, she took the time to measure my feet meticulously. She brought out three pairs of shoes for me to try on, helping me choose the right size. When it came to selecting the insoles, she presented three different heights and let me try them all, starting from the lowest and working my way up, and then back again. Before I left, she even took the time to explain the benefits of using hiking socks and how they differ from regular socks. I am so grateful to this lady; she is genuinely the best person I have ever encountered!

I went in not expecting to find anything I wanted to buy, but I had such a good experience and ended up walking out with a pair of work boots that I love! Sonya was extremely lovely and knowledgeable. I didn’t feel pressured in any way, she just showed me what I said I was interested in and made helpful suggestions of shoes I might want to look at that fit my wants. I had some indecision about sizing, and she explained how to size myself in boots, showing me which parts of my foot I should make sure fit in which way. She definitely gave me as much space to explore and poke around as I needed, but was super helpful and supportive whenever I had questions or needed anything. I would recommend this store and especially Sonya, her advice was invaluable.

I bought my first pair of hiking shoes from Keen a couple of weeks a go. My first experience wearing them did not go so well leaving blisters on my feet, I went back in to change them, taking advantage of their 30-day guarantee, and following foolish advice I received from a random hiker I met on the trail who said I needed smaller shoes! Despite the team advising my against that I went ahead and swapped them for smaller shoes.

Before going on my second hike I immediately realised that the team were actually right and went straight back to the store to change them for the second time.

I was greeted by the store manager Sonya who dedicated the whole rest of her afternoon, till even after the store closed, to help me find the right pair of shoe - I have a difference in size between both feet. I believe we tried on every single pair, one by one before finally finding the perfect shoe and arch sole combination.

I don't think I have ever seen such determination and drive from a manager before. Sonya did not give up, nor make me feel in any way as if I was burdening her with my issue. She truly is an asset to this community and we are lucky to have her.

I went to University Avenue, Palo Alto on a leisure walk. Saw a KEEN store on the way, and I am also looking for a Hiking shoe by the way for simpler hikes. I was assisted by Sonia, who was so patient, meticulous, and nice. Measuring my feet, explaining about multiple shoes and their quirks. Loved the KEEN NXIS speed and picked up a pair of. I love the shoes, it's comfy and fit for my feet. This was a wholesome shopping experience, even better than the ones in REI, which themselves are generally good.

Very stylish comfy options. Friendly service. They don’t carry wide options though.

It was my first Keen purchase and the sales person Maiya was amazing! She was extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I ended up buying a nice pair of hiking shoes.
A few days later the price for the shoes went down and I called the store for a price adjustment. The store manager Sonja went out of her way to process the manual adjustment over the phone. I think the customer service here is top notch! I will be shopping again here in the future.

The staff here is super friendly! I bought shoes with discount, much affordable in REI. If you are looking for KEEN shoes, check in store first, it may has a good price here.

Stayed past closing to make she we got the right shoes, laces and didn't blink. Smiles all around.

Great experience shopping for shoes. Arjan did a good job being personable and relatable, as well as answering questions and not pressuring us to make a purchase. I ended up visiting 3 times over the course of 3 months, and all 3 times he was helpful. By the third time he remembered me and I bought some new Cincinnati boots for work!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, good selection of shows. I was helping by Sabina, who was familiar with shoe/foot questions I had, and nicely helped me find new footwear.

This shop is a delight. I'm hard to fit with shoes, and the KEEN brand satisfies every time: boots, travel shoes, casual shoes. KEEN shoes make you want to get out, to move, and to keep moving. The staff here is friendly and well-trained, and I never feel rushed or upsold.

The Keen Garage offer a wide selection of shoes which I needed:for walking and hiking. The service is great and the salesperson is knowledgeable. Only 1 of 2 Keen stores in the nation and we're lucky to have a store in Palo Alto. I truly recommend Keen shoes for comfort. The money is worth your feet and comfort.

Great customer service, the older lady that works there helped me pick out a pair of shoes that was snug around the base of my feet but roomy enough for my wide toes. She patiently explained how the different styles of shoes (in the mens and womens) would affect my stride even during busy hours at the shop. I ended up purchasing a pair online since they didn't have my size in store. Couldn't have done it without her help :D

I have been in the store several times but I went today with the purpose of buying a sturdy yet non-hideous pair shoes for some upcoming travel. I have plantar fasciitis in one foot and a fussy knee on the same leg. I worked with Sonia (not sure of spelling), who knew every detail of every shoe. She knew where to steer me and what the strengths of each shoe option were. She knew the flexibility/ rigidity, toe box width, heel height, shoe weight, and so much more. I truly felt like she knew how to get me the correct shoes! I’ll be back and I hope to work with Sonia again.

Keen Garage has amazing customer service! Wells in particular was very attentive and listened to and met my requirements so I got the perfect shoe! Wells and Sonya had excellent product knowledge and were very patient during my shoe selection process. On top of all that, the shoes are so comfortable and the store worth seeing in its own. A super collection of Keens as well as a super collection of employees. Great experience. Closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays now!

I really hope the Keen Garage opens up again when businesses open back up. It is so great being able to try a keen shoes on as not all are a perfect fit for me. I buy at lease 4 pairs of shoes a year at the Palo Alto location. I always ask for Sonya. She has the patience of an angel. She always helps me find the perfect shoe and she knows what would be a good fit for the activity. Work, disc golf and hiking. PLEASE come back Keen Garage!! 💛💙
