I contacted GCD through Yelp after water started coming through the ceiling of our SOMA condo. Manny came out the next morning (on a Saturday) to investigate and provide a quote and was able to get a crew out later the same day.

After removing the damaged ceiling, Manny's crew determined the leak was coming from the toilet seal in the unit above us and we were able to work with that owner to have it repaired.

GCD also completed our repairs in addition to water remediation. Other companies I'd contacted for quotes only provided water remediation and not repairs. For me, it was very convenient to have one company handle the whole job rather than working with multiple contractors. I left Manny with a key to come and go as needed and they managed the whole project and left everything very clean when done.

Water intrusions are always extremely stressful, but I was very grateful to find this company. They will be my first call if we ever experience another leak.

I got in touch with GCD Restoration to do a mold remediation in our kitchen. Manny was the one who came out that day. Instantly, I felt like we are in good hands. Manny and his crew came to our house and removed all the mold in our kitchen. They sealed all the cabinets, drawers, hood range vent--everything. The room was sealed. We just passed the mold inspection and we can finally move on to getting it fixed.

I recently had a flood at one of my properties and had found Dean from Green Cleaning through a referral. I normally do not post reviews but Dean did such an amazing job at my home taking care of the flood and the mold situation that I just had to post a review. I called Dean and he came over at a short notice to help me out. He immediately took care of things for me very efficiently and hassle free. He explained me the entire process of how he would be taking care of drying my carpets and treating the mold using a germicide. It was overall a very smooth experience. I did not have to pay anything out of my pocket to him as he directly worked with my home insurance. I would definitely recommend these guys to everyone.

Dean is so awesome, can't ask for a better company to take care of major water damage that occurred at our condo. I'm SUPER picky about cleanliness and also worried about any mold inhalation that could've materialized after the water saturated behind the walls and floors. They did such a thorough job, he even alerted us immediately when he saw another leak. He suggested another great company to help with the plumbing and turned off our water so more damage would be avoided. They kept me in the know of how things were going with our home, which I also loved. I will always work with GCD if this happens again, although, hoping it never does. This has got to be one of the few businesses I can say I trust with great service. Of course, we all have our own opinions but coming from a skeptical back ground this is the best service I have ever had so far!
Dean and his crew really mean serious business when they take on the challenge against water damage and mildew and vents. I mean, these guys are great! I have always been straight up critical about businesses that don't make me happy or that don't satisfy me with their service but this is one that I can call "Good ole fashion Service" and I would recommend Dean and his crew highly to service your place of business and/or home! In-fact, I currently have mold building up on my hall bathroom walls and ceiling right now but just cleaning them isn't going to be enough, so I intend to call Dean back for his services again because this time he has to get into the walls. Dean responded to my initial email within 30 minutes and came over to give an estimate the same day. From beginning to end, Dean has been responsive, punctual, friendly, and extremely helpful. He answered all my questions and made suggestions about things I did not even think of that would be to my benefit now and, more importantly, beneficial in the future.

I had extensive water damage and black toxic mold due to the unit above me choosing to wrap a towel around a leaking showerhead instead of repairing it many months ago.  It is comforting to know that Dean is proudly confident in his work.  He recommended third-party testing of his work and guaranteed that I would have a mold-free bathroom upon completion of the job.

Really can't say enough about the outstanding level of customer service, professionalism, and quality of work of this company! We had an undetected leak from our washer that got into the walls and sub-floor and resulted in some mold. These guys were honest and transparent letting me know exactly what they were going to do and the estimated cost. The crew that came to do the work told us step by step what they were doing and explaining the technicalities that came along with the job. Nonetheless we were back to normal in no time, thanks to the help of these guys.

Recently I experienced some serious water damage and needed a company to clean up. I did some serious research and ended up calling GCD Restoration.
I must admit I was surprised at how professionally they handled the situation - my floor was seriously damaged by the water and they've managed to restore it perfectly. You can't even tell that there was water at all.

I have nothing but good things to say about GCD Restoration. My unit was flooded and nearly destroyed after the plumbing in my building stopped working. I called GCD and immediately I was contacted by Dean. When Dean arrived, he assessed the situation and let me know exactly what needed to be done. During the very stressful situation I was juggling phone calls between my landlord and my insurance company which took some time, and Dean was very patient and understanding the whole way through. I did not feel pressured or rushed. Dean did more than clean up the mess, he helped me get through that tough time. Although I haven’t been in my home while your cleaners were working there, I really think that they did a great job. The place smelled very nice when I came back from work. I cannot remember the last time when my dog’s odor was not the first thing that I smelled when I entered my apartment. I’m really happy that your cleaners managed to remove some of the unpleasant animal smells. They have done a steam cleaning of my upholstery and bedroom carpets but now I seriously consider hiring them for a living room carpet cleaning. The price was definitely not the cheapest one you can find online but I believe it was fair having in mind the good cleaning results. Cheers!

Dean is one of the nicest, most trustworthy guys I know! He goes over and above to help you. He even told me to hold on to his heavy duty humidifier (or whatever it's called) while it was raining - for no charge! He knows what he's talking about and he great at what he does. Thanks Dean!!

Recently we bought a property in San Francisco in which me and my husband invested a lifetime of savings. At the time we bought the house we weren't made aware that the pipe system in the house was quite old. A month after moving in one of the pipes burst and the whole of the first floor was literally flooded with water. It was a total nightmare and we honestly thought that the water damage would be irreversible. Then a friend of ours recommended GCD Restoration to us. To be honest i was skeptical at first but to my surprise from the very beginning they were very professional, friendly and most of all efficient.

Manny identified the water pipe issues in the wall with a scanner machine without opening the walls. He gave us a quote quickly and very patiently explained what each item means. He was also super responsive which is so helpful in these projects.
