The Tavern at Waterdog Landing

The front of the restaurant is not obvious in the outdoor mall. We noticed it only when we happened to park in front of it. The interior is casual but nice. The large space is surrounded by large windows on two sides. The view outside is mostly greenery and even includes a tiny creek. On a sunny day it was beautiful. I had the Roasted Garden salad based on the server's recommendation. It was very good. We will be going back.

Came here during pandemic to sit in their beautiful garden. You do need a reservation. It's really nice. Tables are far apart and shaded. The employees thoroughly clean and disinfect every table in between seatings. You order online and then they deliver the food. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. Drinks are reasonably priced. Highly recommend the brussel sprouts, pretzel, veggie curry and all of the salads.

Absolutely love this place! The serenity and calm is wonderful. It’s definitely my happy place. There are really good drinks and decent food. It’s a great place to relax and unwind.

Great outdoor space! Food is really good and portions are quite large. Everything was delicious and we even took some food home as we did not realize the size of the portions! Staff is very nice! Don't miss it if you are on the neighborhood!

I enjoy checking out local hot spots....especially restaurants. Don't you? Tonight I just happened to stumble across, The Tavern in Belmont. The food was great, the atmosphere was just as great and table 68 was my table. The only thing that I wasn't expecting was the way I had to order my food. Tip....bring your phone, a card to pay with and download a QR code app. I will go back. You've got to try the fried Brussel sprout appetizer! Delicious!

It's a menu that's half guilty pleasures and health conscious Californian. The perfect place to go when you want a drink and the group can't decide whether to stick to the diet or live it up. Service was good and inside is well decorated. It's one of the better gastropubs I've dined at and I'm left wanting to go back

I've been twice since the new people took over and I've been impressed with the food. The lady who greeted us at this visit seemed a bit annoyed to be there and that we were there but once we were seated our server was really nice. I had the salmon bowl and it was delicious! We sat outside which is always beautiful although there did seem to be a bit of a wasp and fly problem. We had to keep waving them away from our food and table which wasn't ideal but we chose to sit outdoors and I guess that's their space. 🤷🏼‍♀

We went to catch a live band and ordered the lovely charcuterie board. We had to order a little extra bread/ crackers but otherwise a wonderful assortment. It was a fun evening with attentive staff.

Many options for food, the burgers are amazing.

Esp in winters get down to the open area and enjoy a drink in open air with bonfire and small water fountain.

I really love the vibe of this place, it’s clean and got the best ambience in feng shui, open beautiful, love the outdoors and indoors. Impressed with the food, and the drinks are pretty good too.
Was so surprised that it was not more packed. When is the 49ers game is on, they have TVs everywhere, and a great place to watch the game! They have live bands on various nights, and I love the river outside, makes you feel like you’re in a mountain town.

Beautiful patio surrounded by plants and waterfalls. Great selection of local beers. Great service (the server just went out of her way to change the propane tank in the space heater so we could sit outside comfortably). And great food. I’ve ordered the salmon three times now and it’s been cooked perfectly every time.

Very tasty and healthy kale salad. Burger was delicious. Fries awesome. Setting with running water outside is a great date place.

Amazing outdoor ambiance with great service, strict health precautions, and tasty brews and bites. Can’t wait to come back and sit by the fire pits.

We'll keep returning! The brussel sprouts are my favorite, love the outdoor area and the drinks are great! The have extra menu items for pups (which was very approved by ours!)

Burger was delicious. Staff was friendly, attentive, but relaxed. Initially brought fries instead of the salad I ordered, but the error was corrected instantly.
The outdoor area is beautiful. But the bar inside is also great for eating.

Lovely place, great to bring kids for brunch. They get pretzels from Wurst Hall, so delicious.
