This is my go-to threading spot!! These ladies always get my brows done right 😌 No need to make a request for any particular one. They are all fantastic.

I have been going here for 10-12 years (who’s counting haha) and it’s to the point where it’s like family and friends. You will not find such excellence in service , and quality at such very affordable prices anywhere for the services they provide.
Theoretically — Can you find a more luxurious spa wax experience elsewhere that will also cost you an arm and a leg (metaphorically speaking )—Yes sure but if you need such services more regularly and without the $$$$, and without waiting for days to get an appointment and still a pleasant and professional experience— I highly doubt any other place within a 10 mi radius comes even close. Also I don’t think anyone in the world can shape eyebrows than Shilpi she’s an artist! :-)
Most importantly for the San Mateo / Foster city community this salon is an integrator where people come for some Beauty services but stay and keep coming back for the relationships and friendships. Really reminds me of the yesteryears show “Cheers” jingle —— “you wanna go where everybody knows your name…they’re always glad you came .. our troubles are all the same…. “ so if you haven’t yet pls visit the salon.

I've been going to My Fair Lady for over a year now and I love it here. I have always preferred threading for my brows and I'm glad I found these ladies. They do such an amazing job and they have worked very hard to keep us safe before and during this pandemic. Now that they have reopened, I feel very welcomed and reassured that we are both taking safety precautions to keep each other safe at all time. Before any appointment we wear our masks, they take our temperature, and of course hand sanitizer is available for us at all times. Overall, I recommend any services that My Fair Lady provides because they will do an outstanding job.

I’ve been a loyal client to the team at my fair lady for a while now. They have always been good and professional in what they do!
I wanted to specifically write a review right now because of the safety measures they’re taking during these covid times - they’re excellent!! As hesitant as I was - I made an appointment. There was only one staff member in the salon who was wearing all the safety gear including mask, gloves and face shield. My temperature was checked as soon as I entered for my safety and their safety.

It’s scary times out there but the team at my fair lady are doing all that they can and going beyond to make sure their clients are safe!

I've been going to Shilpi's for threading for the last 5 years and I'm so happy to see that the salon is back open! I called ahead to make an appointment and arrived to see two stations outside the shop! Shilpi and her staff are all taking all necessary safety precautions and I felt very safe during my visit. For any returning customers wondering if it's safe to visit the salon, I can assure you it is. For any potential new customers looking for threading services I encourage you to visit Shilpi and her team because they are simply the best. I have been getting my face threaded at My Fair Lady Beauty Salon/Beauty Shilpi for years, but I stopped going for over a year when the pandemic shut down started March of 2020. When I finally felt comfortable enough to return, scheduling was easy, and Shilpi was was very welcoming. They take our safety seriously. Hand sanitizer is available as you walk in. Staff cleaned the tablet before and after I checked in and payed with my credit card. Chairs were immediately wiped down when a client was finished. Shilpi was double masked, and the thread is now tied around the neck instead of placed in the mouth. As usual, Shilpi and the other stylists have done an amazing job on my brows and cleaning up unwanted facial hair. You can feel safe and comfortable getting your threading needs taken care of at Beauty Shilpi.

My Fair Lady is OPEN FOR BUSINESS and Shilpi and her team are well prepared to service their customers. They have hand sanitizer, are wearing masks, and have their chairs set up outside under a tent for services. They take every precaution when servicing their customers and don't even charge more for threading! I'm hoping I can continue going to Shilpi and I hope more of her customers return and continue doing so as well as new customers. She is the best threader in the area and has the most reasonable prices around!

Beauty Shilp is still open as of August 18 for threading! Shilpi and her co-workers are threading outdoors, with appropriate cleaning and social distancing protocols in place. They thread with their masks on and appropriately disinfect before and after. She’s easy to reach by text or call for an appointment! I’ve been going to her for the past 15 years and am always impressed with the job they do and the service provided.

I’ve been here a couple of times since I moved to Foster City and I’ve always received good service!
I go for my eyebrow threading and waxing and I have always come back with well shaped eyebrows.

Great service! Scheduling the appointment over the phone was super easy, they were even able to take me with an hour's notice. The appointment was so smooth and efficient, I was in and out in under 15 mins with lovely eyebrows again. I just had to leave a positive review! They also take the the COVID19 protocols seriously with a temp check during check in and plenty of hand sanitizer around and single or double-masks on the employees so all should feel safe and welcome. I will be returning!

I've been going to Shilpy for a year now and I can say that she is very professional. Once San Mateo County entered Phase 3 and her Salon started operating again, her salon has been immaculate. Every station is sanitized after every use and the technicians all follow protocol. Of course you must wear a mask and you get your temperature checked first. I trust that by going to My Fair Lady, my health is not at risk.

I was hesitant to visit a salon during the pandemic. Shilpi & team have taken so much care and precaution to maintain extremely sanitary conditions that I felt comfortable right away. They're constantly cleaning and have the safety precautions in place. You need an appointment first so make sure to call and schedule an appointment.

I have known Shilpi for over 2 decades. Consistently and particularly now during this especially sensitive time, Shilpi & her team are immaculate about sterility, hygiene while simultaneously providing consistent, professional services for all of our personal salon needs. Unlike other places we may visit during this time, Shilpi follows each process/procedure as dictated my our County. I have always and continue to especially now go to Shilpi for my personal salon needs.

This is my favorite spot that I visit monthly, maybe twice a month. The friendly crew is on time and follows correct protocol when it comes to sanitizing and distancing themselves with their mask and/or shield to protect themselves and their clients. I recommend filling out the waiver ahead of time and going in and coming literally right back out after your appointment. =)
