Kukje Supermarket

Great local Korean/Asian grocery store with everything you might need! The place is sufficiently stocked, open late, and has a delicious hot bar/restaurant that sells items discounted in the evenings. There is an attached Shiseido/beauty department with very helpful staff! The attendant there helped me find the items my mom needed when she found out the products my mom previously used were discontinued. I absolutely love this market for great deals to find everything I need.

Food court, dine in, cold noodle and black bean noodle, big portions, side dish Kim chee was one of the best I had in years! Very delicious! Price is good, very clean, fast service and nice environment. Taste was not too bad.

the best prices here! very large selection of prepared Korean food and sashimi! a huge selection of different panchans. The store itself is a little cramped and there are a lot of goods. I am pleased with the choice of prepared food for Shabu Shabu and grill, as well as many types of fish balls. do not miss the promotional goods on the shelves of the store, because the sale prices in this store are very tasty and I have not found cheaper! There is a small restaurant in the store itself where you can eat Korean food.

Very nice and friendly neighborhood market and staff with delicious food and good deals. Also nice treats. Well worth checking it out for Asian products, specially Korean stuff.

It had a great assortment of asian foods some of which are rarely encountered outside of Asia. From hot foods to meats and fish it was a delicious display to create your own meals that are exotic and authentic. The shelves are stocked full with sales items clearly marked and displayed. My friend who is a bargain hunter was delighted with the many popular items that were on sale. With high quality and low prices throughout the shop there was little to find fault with. The small parking lot is frequently filled during the rush hours so it is best to shop early and on weekdays.

Clean, huge selection of products not just Korean but also East Asian and beyond, an impressive variety of deli / pre made Korean foods and efficient service! Definitely coming back again very soon

Excellent Korean selection. Tasty prepared food. Fancy department store high end Korean Cosmetics. Also affordable Korean cosmetics & skin care lines/products. Good variety of vegetables. Stores within the store, such as the department store cosmetics section & the bakery. Fun snack products. Adequate parking. They all speak English. I just found out they have an Aritaum shop inside their store. It has Sulwhasoo, Laneige, & Iope! I am making the switch from Bliss, L'Occitane, EO, Hermes, & other western skin care products to the advanced, natural, & proven Korean beauty systems. Aritaum is an international major K beauty & skin care store, & i am excited to make this transition for my skin's health. Each time I see a movie at the nearby theater I have to shop here for Korean prepared foods & pick up Korean soaps & snacks, etc. Nice friendly cashiers and security guard. 1/9/20: I always enjoy buying prepared Korean meals here. 8/22/23: They remodeled the store. It's quite nice & orderly. Good prepared food section. They have many Korean meal prep packages.

Love love love this Korean market! They literally have all the best 반찬 (banchan - side dishes) and hot food. There was so much to choose from and all for a reasonable price. Everything was very flavorful and my cravings were definitely satisfied.
My favorite items were the seasoned dried cuttlefish, spicy and sweet chicken, cucumber fresh kimchi, seasoned royal fern, and the kimbap.

I will definitely stop by every time I drive through Daly City 😋

good neighborhood Korean supermarket that has a lot of different offers every week (liked I got $2.99/ pk of 2lbs strawberry). Also, their hot foods and prepacked foods will have 50% off after 8:00pm every night!!! If you want to grab something simple for your dinner, I will highly recommend you to go there!!!

We love the pre-marinated meats, selection of alcohol and variety of produce at Kukje. Yesterday morning, we had an impromptu urge to BBQ and watch the game with friends. We decided to pick up a few items and fire up the grills. Kukje is a one stop shop. Except they only had cans of Sapporo beer and not bottles. Personal nit pick but bottles taste better and we had to go to BevMo for that. Kukje is cool because they have cooked foods as well as raw items to BBQ. I didn't pay but the chicken wings tray was about $60. Very crispy! We also got kim chi, some sushi rolls, lettuce to wrap the meats, fried rice and some weird green peppers to grill. Beef tongue, pork belly, short ribs tasted great without need for any BBQ sauce. We also love trying different kinds to soju to try. Great job Kukje.

I know everyone is mostly about H-Mart but Kukje is still very much my jam to go to for Korean food and utensils! I get everything I need for KBBQ, hotpot, and noodle dishes here including uni which H-Mart doesn't even carry. I love their section of premade kimchi so I can grab a small container of whatever I'm in the mood for. It's best to come here in the morning or later in the evening when it's not super busy and parking can be difficult. Highly recommend the hot food section if you're starving and in a hurry - the tteokbokki is my favorite! Highly recommend if you don't want to deal with the tiny parking spaces and big crowds of H-Mart, head to Kukje, you'll be in and out of there in no time!

Uji Time Asian fusion inspired flavors ice cream are here, wow. I got the black sesame home and it is delicious. Glad to see local business brand is carried here at Kukje.

You can go grocery shopping here, buy some house items, or even sit down for lunch! They serve fresh sushi, rice bowls, and more. Great selection of seaweed snacks, rice, and treats.

My favorite spot to get korean tofu soup & bibimbab as well grocery shopping. Decent price for common Korean dishes. Never ordered grilled pork (galbi, bulgogi, etc) as they are expensive even for lunch. Around $16 ish per dish. Great selection of tofu soup & hot stone pot rice mix (bibimbab). The two items that I always order. Tried bento box before & love it. Better deal during weekday lunch. Ordered sushi few times but fishes didn't seem as fresh as most of Japanese restaurants.

After satisfied your belly with yummy korean meals, you should walk around the supermarket. The restaurant is inside the supermarket. Love love love this supermarket. I buy brown rice, beans, & other grains here since found this place 5 years ago. Good selection of dried products, kimchi, rices, beans, salts, chili pastes, chili powders, you name it. Very great store if you need Korean & other Asian ingredients. The reason why I keep coming back to this store for dried produces because of the high quality of their items. They either made in Korean, Japan, Vietnam, Thai, or USA. Rarely see made in China, which I usually avoid. Not much on fresh vegetables & tends to be more expensive comparing to other Asian stores (ranch 99, May Wah supermarket, etc).

If you nearby Daly City neighborhood & want korean dishes & buy goodies, this place won't disappoint you.

This is a big market. So much to fight inside. So much to explore. The produce department is why I came here today and I was not disappointed. So many mushrooms and fruits. Sadly they did not have nam dok mai mangoes, I found plenty of alternatives. Potato croquettes are good!

OMG! Our family's Go To Korean Restaurant. And it's inside a grocery 😲!!! Very tasty and very friendly staff 😍 You have to order the Korean Seafood Pancake 😋😋😋😋😋

Lots of premade food here for the non cooking person. Parking can be tough. If you can turn from the Junipero Serra Blvd, parking is easier. Store is a little on the older side but it meets all my hot pot and korean bbq needs. Everything has been fresh and yummy when I have shopped here.
