Dela Rama Dental Care

I came to Dela Rama Dental after having a horrible experience at another office and they were everything I could have hoped for. They have the friendliest staff, and Dr. Andrew has a great way at making you feel comfortable and explaining everything thoroughly. They play great music at the office and even have streaming services set up so you can watch your favorite show while getting longer dental work procedures done in the chair! I never dread coming to the dentist any more and I tell everyone I know to come here.

I have had a phobia with dentist for awhile. I would do anything not to have to see one, because of my bad experiences with so many of them. Until it got really bad, that I had no choice. My sister recommended I see Dela Rama dental. I made an appointment and was assigned to Dr. Marjorie. OMG! I love her! She was gentle, told me everything I needed to know and after a year of going to see her, my teeth are better and my mouth feels healthy. I always look forward to seeing the dentist now, and I go regularly. I wish I saw long ago, maybe things would be different, but as they say, better late than never. 😁

You can watch Netflix while getting your teeth cleaned — what could be better that that! Never been to a dentist clinic before where I could watch TV and relax while they cleaned my teeth. Also, it’s very safe — they check your temperature, have you fill out a form about covid exposure, have you spray the bottom of your shoes with disinfectant, and have you gargle mouthwash before you are seen by the dentist. Everyone is in full protective gear as well, so it’s a great experience overall. They also give you a small goody bag with travel-size toiletries when you leave!

Dr. Dela Rama and his team are exceptional. He is very thorough and explained different options very clearly. His office is warm and welcoming playing island music. I highly recommend Dr Dela Rama and his team. Thank you!

I had broken a tooth and had much tooth pain. Dela Rama dental got me in to see them within a couple of days. Dr. Andrew has done a great job with repairing my tooth temporarily so that I could wait until the following week when I would have a temporary crown placed while I wait for my crown to come in for them to replace. I had my teeth cleaned here regularly with great results- my gums are never sore afterwards. Dr. Andrew also created a mouth guard for me since I clench my teeth. He also created a denture like retainer for two molars that I have missing rather than getting implants - this was thousands of dollars cheaper than implants. Their staff is wonderful here and I would highly recommend their office.

Dr Becky is the best dentist that I ever seen. Nice and sweet and very skillful with her hands. I loved her.

The Dela Rama dental is wonderful. I have been a patient with them for about 10 years. I always appreciate the advice Dr Marjorie gives and the 2 locations are very convenient.

I was feeling a lot of pain in my left side and I have to admit I haven’t seen the dentist in a while because I haven’t had the best experiences in the past. Luckily, the team at Dela Rama Dental was able to get me in before the holidays for a cleaning and X-rays at their Millbrae location!

Since the office is a little far from my home, I visited here with my mother. We drove to get there earlier and it was nice to know that it’s located right across from a Chipotle and a few other restaurants so we were able to relax and eat before going in. When we made our way to the office we were also relieved that there was plenty of parking on the street (if you use GPS map to 199 California Drive, Millbrae 94030 to park in front of their office doors, as explained on their website!).

We came in and Geraldine saw me right away! She was very sweet and patient throughout the whole process as she took my x-rays. I have a small mouth so she was very gentle and made sure I was in no discomfort throughout. I can’t help but get anxious cause I just know I haven’t been on top of my dental health, but she was so sweet and you could tell she cared about my experience.

Once we got all the photos done Dr. Andrew Dela Rama came to show me all the photos of my teeth which honestly was so cool to see! My prior dentist had older equipment which was decent, but this experience was a huge game changer for me as I love visualizing what’s going on with my teeth and gums. Not only was he very kind but he walked me through everything - why I am feeling pain, what work needs to be done, why it could have happened, and why dental practices are so important. He answered all my questions and made sure to break down all that needed to be done based on high to low priority. To me, this was very important, because I felt like he wasn’t just listing what needs to be done, but he approached it in such a way that I felt like he was on my team, ready to help me however he could!

They quickly got started on my teeth for a cleaning and what was cool was that their seats have a screen so I could watch any Netflix show while they worked on my mouth. It honestly made such a difference as it helped me feel comfortable and a bit distracted from the discomfort of getting my teeth worked on.

Once we got the cleaning done he numbed out my mouth so they could repair a temporary filling and crack in another tooth. Dr. Andrew took the time to explain to me how the numbing should feel before they operated — this may seem obvious, but the way he explained it made me realize I didn’t experience it correctly before. He injected more and after it settled, it felt exactly how he said it should feel. I was surprised that I felt no discomfort during the fillings when before in past experiences I used to still feel the pain a bit even though I thought it was correctly numbed. It was little things like that, that made me feel the extra care they took to make sure I had a good experience!

Thank you to the team at the Millbrae location for being so accommodating throughout the whole process. Not only did I feel confident in their work, but I felt confident as a patient because I know now how to better advocate for my experience (what to be aware of and feeling confident to ask questions). Not only that, but my mom loved the office too, they made sure to ask if she needed water throughout and even let her use a charger cause her phone was dying. I am beyond happy to refocus on my dental health with the help of Dela Rama Dental!

The Staff is friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. They recommend things according to your personal needs and.goals... not just to make money. They are honest and sincere!

They are well knowledgeable in the latest technology used in treating the ailments of the teeth.

Loved going here! My dentist was very attentive and friendly, and did a great job helping with my issues. Highly recommend this place!
