My wife loves pasta, and I wanted to find her something a little more special, so I decided we would try here for a birthday dinner. Slam dunk choice really: What a fantastic little pasteria!

The fresh pasta really shines through and puts the dried stuff to shame. We loved both our pasta dishes, the Tagliatelle & Truffle Cream sauce and Pasta Primavera. I imagine it's probably hard to go wrong with any of their pasta, on top of the fresh pasta, the seasonings and cooks were perfection.

For appetizers the Melted Brie & Roasted Garlic is to die for, and something I now definitely want to try myself at home. I do recommend they fully cut the bread served with it, the whole half cut "boat" thing was awkward to deal with. The Polenta Fries were also good, especially with the Calabrian Pepper Jelly, but we felt the fries themselves needed a little more salt.

And for dessert we were a little disappointed with the Olive Oil Pistachio Cake (still decent), but the Gelatos were top notch!

This place is now on our radar and I suspect we'll be coming back soon.

One of the best restaurants I have EVER been to. I try my hardest to come here when I am in town. I have eaten here a few times per year and every single time it has been amazing. The staff is absolutely amazing.

The owner Donna is usually there and I was a little shocked how the last few times she said hi to my family and knew who we were.
So it does get busy and it’s a small place. I HIGHLY recommend making a reservation.

Weston is hands down the best waiter I have ever had. If at all possible ask for him. Both cooks make incredible food.

I always get the pasta primavera, but anything on the menu will blow your mind! Please eat here if you are ANYWHERE near here.
I know live in another state and have dreams about the food here and whenever I am in town I try to eat here. This month, December of 2023 I ate here twice while visiting family for the holidays and both times were perfect.
They make their pasta from scratch daily, they respect and work with people who have food allergies or sensitives. Two of my family don’t eat gluten and their gluten free pasta is not only the best around, but they will boil it separately and they have gluten free crackers for the appetizers.
Do yourself a favor and eat here. Even if you are gluten free. It’s amazing.

Weston is a phenomenal server! Donna, the owner, was sweet enough to seat us (party of 6) without a reservation on Saturday night!? She was lovely and chatted with us a bit and made us feel at home. Now, the food… OMG, everything was great; the truffle pasta, burrata pizza, brussel sprouts, bolognese, artichoke dip YUMMY!! True Italian food made with love!! Highly recommend.

Best fettuccine I’ve ever had! It comes with chicken and sun dried tomatoes. The gnocchi & Brie + garlic dip was also amazing. Service was decent and the outside seating with the fireplace lit is the best spot to sit! Will be coming back. Make sure to make a reservation.

This place was all that my friend had said and totally redeemed itself :) Three is a charm!

Twice before, we had attempted to eat here, and our reservation was messed up, so we left. Tonight, the owner (so hospitable and kind) saw to make things right. She offered up this table with beautiful mosaic/tile work. Our server Bree (sp?) was attentive with the right set of recommendations but not hovering - perfect!

We tried the burrata with homemade jam (yummmmm), artichoke dip, and pear salad. All were great. Appetizers were actually our favorite!

For the main course, I had the Baked Mostaccioli, and hubby had pumpkin ravioli. Both were flavorful. The ravioli is kind of on the sweet side.

We will become regulars.. if we can get in ;)

Delicious! We had a very nice dinner last night at The Pasteria in Los Gatos. After the Los Gatos High Football game we tried to get a reservation online, but they we sold out till 9:30. We stopped in anyway and got their last table.

Everything on the menu looked great. We read reviews how good the Brie appetizer was, but decided to go with the roasted garlic and fresh bread to save on the calories. It was a great call. The serving of garlic was generous and the bread was soft and warm. Our waiter Westin brought us a little olive oil and balsamic which made a nice combination.

Our second course was the house salad. Simple with just romaine lettuce, kidney beans tossed in a light vinaigrette and topped with shaved Parmesan. Very good.

Westin then brought out a plate of oven roasted Brussel sprouts. They were tasty tossed in a balsamic reduction and topped with Parmesan, but with thought the dish needed a little more flavor. We added a little more reduction which helped.

For our main courses my wife ordered the Tagliatelle & Truffle Cream sauce with Chicken. She said it was incredible. The pasta, made in house was perfect and the truffle was not overpowering.

I planned on getting the seafood pasta, but when I saw a plate of the angel hair pasta with meatballs go by, I changed my mind. It was a good choice. The fresh pasta was cooked to perfection. The red sauce has nice flavor with enough zest. The meatballs were awesome. Lots of flavor with just enough spice.

We had a couple of glasses of Kathleen Kennedy Small Lot Cabernet with dinner. Very good. It was nice they had some decent wines by the glass.

We did not come close to finishing any of our dishes. There was definitely no room for dessert.

The service was excellent. Our server Westin was very friendly, knowledgeable and was always there when we needed him.

Another restaurant we will return to.

On a side note, they added some outdoor seating fireplaces that looked nice. I am sure they fill up fast so a reservation is most likely needed.

Randomly picked this restaurant after watching somewhere and glad ended up here! By far best Italian food i had in bay area. Initially was bit skeptical about having squash pomegranate pizza with fresh sage but they nailed it and wood fire was just perfect touch. Gnocchi and Arancini was nicely done too. Definitely recommend to visit if you are around, also place was quiet crowded so make sure you have reservations.

Always a good homemade meal! They make their own pasta daily and you can taste how fresh it is. Its a small space very intimate and cozy. It's fairly loud, especially when the wine is flowing. The staff is extremely nice and very attentive. One of my favorite restaurants in Los Gatos.

The best fresh pasta in town! I can't say enough about how delicious the Pastaria & Market is. The staff are friendly and always have great recommendations. The new location has indoor and outdoor seating. We love to stop in for lunch or dinner, reservations are recommended, there can be a bit of a wait, it's worth it tho. The wood fire pizza is great for sharing, as well as the many appetizers on the menu, but we come for the pasta.

I have been here quite a few times and every time I have visited, my visits have been pleasant, their team is nice, very attentive and knowledgeable on their food and beverages.

My most favorite thing to order Is the Melted Brie & Roasted Garlic because it’s so good! I have tried most of their pasta dishes and loved them all.

I visited this past weekend to celebrate my birthday. We ordered the melted Brie with the roasted garlic and Caesar salad to share and I ordered the Primadonna pasta. And they were all so good!

My friends have never been there and they loved everything they had.
Let’s just say we will be all returning.

The food and service is excellent. We overdid it on the cream a bit, starting with the roasted garlic and Brie appetizer which is amazing but very large for 2 people, my wife then proceeded with the tortellini in cream sauce, also excellent but quite heavy. I had the walnut pesto linguine, a different taste then pesto dishes I’d had in the past and quite enjoyable. The interior of the restaurant is very small and even though we had reservations we had to wait a bit and there really isn’t any place to do that waiting. The front desk folks seems harried and frantic when we arrived but once we were seated all went smoothly. The interior is a bit kitschy with everything faux painted. But all in all a great dining experience.

If you want to indulge in gluttony in the Los Gatos area, this place should definitely be on the top of your list. Everything we had was perfect and the service immaculate. Personal recommendations from the menu would be the Margherita pizza, spicy garlic bread and tagliatelle pasta with truffle cream sauce.

PS: You will regret it if you leave without having the Bread Pudding.

Had a great anniversary dinner here, the staff did a great job welcoming us. Being a vegetarian, I was pleasantly surprised with the number of good vegetarian options available. The street this restaurant is on is very lively. Overall, I would totally recommend this restaurant.

Absolutely loved this place, the decor was gorgeous, everything we ordered was so delicious and fresh, and our server was the nicest human. Instant new fave for both me and and my friend, we can't wait to come back.

Randomly picked this restaurant to have my dinner as I suddenly wanted to eat pasta during my dental appointment in Los Gatos. Saw the menu on one review of google maps and was being attracted by the picture Tagliatelle & Truffle Cream source. I ordered it and with a sparkling water. It was so creamy and delicious. I really enjoyed it! The service was also very great. The whole restaurant smelled delicious! When I walked to the hall to the restroom in the back room, I could see and feel the passion in the kitchen, of course the great smells of food. I would like to come back and try more in the future.

Excellent service and ambiance. The place is cozy but the food is amazing. We had the meat ravioli and the pink vodka mostaccioli. We had dessert as well but ate it all too quickly before I could snap a photo. We were asked to move to a different table so they could accommodate a larger group and they comped one of our desserts in return. Will definitely come back! Love this place

One of the best Italian restaurants in town! We had grill lollipop lamb chops for appetizers, tender and juicy. The house salad was perfect in tartness and plenty to share. The linguine seafood Mari absolutely amazing, plenty of sauce the seafood done just right and the pasta just melts in your mouth.

Delicious home-made pastas and Italian fare. The restaurant is quite cozy inside, so reservations are pretty much a necessity, especially on a weekend. The food is worth it as you can really taste the difference of the homemade, fresh pasta. Not only was it fresh, but it was cooked perfectly “al dente”. I got a daily special shrimp scampi, and my wife got the Primadonna. Both were delicious and well exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be coming back to Pastatia & Market for our next special night out, well worth the trip to Los Gatos.

Great food and service. Staff are friendly and food prep is very efficient. Booking ahead of time is recommended as it gets busy most of the times

We recently went for my birthday and we loved it! The entire staff was really nice and attentive. Brie was amazing and she went beyond to make sure we were all comfortable and enjoying ourselves! The food is really good and everything came out pretty quickly. We especially enjoyed the Melted Brie and Roasted Garlic. The portions are also good for sharing.
