Park Place Apartments

I have been living in this apartment for about three years since 2021. I have had one of the greatest experiences in this apartment. I genuinely have no complaints about this apartment.

The service provided by the staff has consistently been excellent, with fast and warm responses to any inquiries or issues that may have occurred. Not to mention the great amenities and a fantastic clubhouse, which make calling this place home even more delightful.

This apartment is located in a great location near to two parks, Mountain view library, down town, which makes it great for an evening walk. It is an amazing place to have fun without spending time for commute. Additionally, the convenience of having a Starbucks nearby is a delightful bonus.

At the end I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the staff for their support and for creating such a welcoming and comfortable environment.

I love the building staff always being on-site and ready to greet me and my pup with a smile. Truly enjoy having them here and eager to help with any issues that arise with my packages etc. A wonderful place to live!

We lived at Park Place for two years and really loved it. We lived in the north complex and our apartment was updated and modern (and pet-friendly, too!). Lots of families and pets live here. The location is wonderful - right across the street from two big, green parks, and a few minutes walk to all the restaurants and shops on Castro Street. Having access to two gyms - one of which is open 24/7 - was awesome. The pool was never crowded and always clean! We submitted a number of maintenance requests while we lived there, and John and the rest of the maintenance team are truly rockstars: extremely prompt, very attentive, and so friendly.

Our only quibbles include some issues with mail delivery/theft, and being assessed a cleaning fee during move-out that was a bit unreasonable given how clean we left the place.

My wife and I absolutely love it here! We've checked out all the options in Mountain View and decided to settle down here, and we are very picky. The neighbors are fantastic, and it's super peaceful and calm, being just 5 minute from the downtown. The value is awesome too, as it's more affordable than newer buildings, yet our apartment has been fully renovated and feels brand new. Not sure about neighbor noise since we're on the 3rd floor.

The management company is top-notch too. Sherese showed us around at least 10 apartments and was incredibly helpful and friendly. Bryan has been a great help with all our maintenance questions. We're happy with our decision to stay here!

5 stars for Park Place and the amazing staff! When we booked our first apartment online, we picked the wrong one for us. To be clear, everything was clean and as advertised. We chose it. It was just not the one for us.
Thus, we moved in on Memorial Day. Thanks to Park Place office and team - going the extra mile for us and making a smooth move-in happen. When we were approaching the nice ladies at the office the next day regarding a different apartment, they were so accommodating and quick to resolve all our issues. We were able to move into our current apartment the same day - and we totally love it! As does our small dog. Thank you, Park Place team, for supporting us and being so flexible and accommodating.

My partner and I have been living in Park Place South for over 2 years now, and we definitely enjoyed staying here. The apartment management team is very considerate and responsive, and I appreciate their efforts. The location of PP is fantastic. It’s so close to downtown Mountain View with easy access to restaurants and a beautiful park. The apartment itself is beautiful and lively. I noticed some reviews complaining about noise but personally I haven’t had any major issues. It’s possibly due to we live in an inward-facing unit on the top floor. Overall I’d recommend PP to anyone who’s looking for a good apartment.

I've been resident of Park Place for couple of years now. I must say the experience has been very good. I love the location (right on Castro Downtown). Minutes walk to the Theater, parks and library. The amenities are great - heated pool and bbq was a boon during the pandemic. What I love most is the staff. The staff serving the apartments are prompt, professional and caring. Recently, we had an electrical issue when a part of our house had no power. On a weekend, Oscar not only attended to us promptly but persisted for an hour to find the problem (it wasn't just a trip) and fixed it. I am constantly impressed by the staff - it's friendly, considerate, well trained and professional (I did not see a single staff w/o mask and glove during the pandemic)

Park Place is an excellent apartment complex, and I received outstanding customer service from their Neighborhood Ambassador, Michelle. She really went above and beyond and has a great attitude. 10/10

We've been at Park Place for over 2 years now and are extremely happy here. The complex is beautiful and very well maintained. The staff are friendly and quick to address maintenance issues and other concerns. The communal areas such as the pool, gym and grills are always clean and in working order. Parcel delivery is easy thanks to the Amazon lock boxes. The location is fantastic - a short stroll and you are in the middle of the bars and restaurants of castro street. Highly recommend.

We lived at Park Place for a year. So sad that we had to leave. The location is amazing, close to all the shops and two amazing parks. The neighborhood itself is so calm and great for the afternoon walk.

In general we had a great experience living here, except for the construction that seem to have lasted forever due to covid and all the trade delays. But overall I always got a heads up from the management before hand. They were also very responsive to my concerns.

Management was also amazing at our renewal this year and did everything to keep us. Unfortunately a 2 bedroom unit was too small for us to stay but if a 3 bedroom becomes available We will absolutely give Park Place another try.

We lived in Park Place South for 1.5 years and had a great experience! The staff was consistently responsive and helpful. Every time we submitted a maintenance request, the issue was resolved very promptly. The location is great, walking distance to 90+ restaurants and Caltrain. One leasing office member in particular, Michelle, really went above and beyond to make us feel at home during our time here. Although work has pulled us away, I would recommend living here.

We are currently living here and after a handful of years and very happy with our stay at Park Place. There are a few things about this apartment complex that are nearly impossible to match.

1) location to Castro Street / Downtown Mountain View, 40+ restaurants, bars, coffee shops and plenty of retail like CVS, organic grocery (Ava's on Castro and Rose's on El Camino), etc
2) high quality buildings with very responsive staff
3) two gyms, saltwater lap pool & hot tub; one of the biggest differentiators

Amenities - Saltwater heated pool is long enough to do laps and it is kept very clean 12 months out of the year. The hot tub is also a larger one than is typical. Both gyms are well stocked with one having a auxiliary room that can be used for yoga or other individual workouts. The pool area also has two large gas grills.

Staff - always responsive to our needs and maintenance requests are fulfilled almost always within 24 hours of submitting it online. The team at Park Place has been consistently supportive of various needs that have arisen over the years.

Unit - high quality, appliances are new, they have cleaned our carpets when we asked as we have lived here for consecutive years now

Noise - very quiet overall; we are in a building made of steel/plaster so it is a bit different than the units that seem to be more focused on wooden construction so it may be different in the other buildings

Location - I don't think there is a better location; great for running in the neighborhood as well; there are newer apartments on Castro Street & Alma - but they are literally next to the train station which is very noisy 30-60 times a day every day of the year and at Park Place you are 0.5 miles away from the train tracks so you will not hear the trains

The location is ideal, right on Castro Street and across from Eagle Park, close to many restaurants and coffee shops. The management team is very responsive, specially Jennifer who is so helpful and easy to communicate with. Also, the maintenance staff takes care of the requests right away, with no delays. Overall, this is an excellent apartment complex, and well managed!

My bestfriend and I moved in recently and I am beyond happy that we chose Park Place. This is our first time moving into an apartment on our own from our parents' houses too. We looked at different Mountain View neighborhoods and decided to go with Park Place because of the centralized location, responsive team, and finishes in the home itself! Parking is great near the building we are at, the park and Castro St being close by is super convenient, and there is a lot of greenery that my dog enjoys on walks.

I met some of the team (Jennifer, Breanne, Arman, Michelle, and Kerem) and they were all welcome and helpful. Vincent was especially accommodating throughout the entire process and was the main person we went to for help. He gave us a virtual and self-guided tour, answered all of our questions in a timely manner, and even checked in on us after we moved in! I also think the service team does their best to maintain the neighborhood overall! Peter (I think the service manager?) responded to our service request in less than 24 hours and gave us more information on what the problem was so we know how to prevent it from happening again.

The only cons I've found are the doorbell being hard to press and the bigger trash bins being full (this is probably because it's a big property so it's understandable). Overall, I would 100% recommend renting an apartment here if you care about location, experience, and comfortability.

Surrounded on two sides with green parks and city library, the Park Place apartments served my family well in a year transitioning out of the Bay Area to another state. I especially appreciated the super friendly office staff who always greeted with a smile and went out of their way to help with various issues.

Our family resided at Park Place for two years and absolutely loved the amenities, central location and staff. Eagle Park is only a few steps away and Castro st. is easily accessible if you want restaurants. The fountain at the center of the apartment complex is great for meeting other families and provides a nice contained area for the kids to ride their scooters/bikes around. Unfortunately, we had to relocate back to the East Coast. We’ll miss the summertime bbq’s at the pool house.

Well maintained and cozy apartments run by a friendly team. And the location is amazing- nestled between two beautiful parks in quaint Old Mountain View, and a couple of minutes walk from bustling Castro street. We loved our time here.

Prime location: 2 beautiful parks across the street and library, restaurants, and services all walking distance away. Easy access to 101 and 85.

We really enjoyed the pool area and grill during summers. There are even onsite yoga classes at the gym!

The maintenance staff is friendly and responsive.

Apartment interiors vary a bit in age, so it's good to check the exact apartment you are renting.

Have been living here for 2.5 years. It's a quiet community located in an ideal location. The management and maintenance teams are responsive and helpful. Recommended.
