Great Bar with good beer options. Right behind castro st. They have spacious patio as well. Service was really good and food came out hot and delicious.

The shrimp pene was delicious and a huge portion. Also really enjoyed the ceviche.

Food is okay little bit blend for our group. We had both vegetarian and not vegetarian ordered but the whole group felt the same way. Drinks were good and the atmosphere is really good to hang out with friends. Will go again.

I went during lunch with friends on a day that wasn't super busy, so there was plenty of seating available. It's a big venue with lots of table, booth and bar seating. The large beer selection spans a wide variety of styles and flavors, so there's going to be something for everyone. The owner is very friendly. He stopped by our table to see how we were doing and talked beer-talk for a while. I had the jambalaya (as did one of my friends), which we both agreed was delicious. It didn't have a strong traditional Cajun flavor, but it was amazing with a hint of beer used in the recipe.

Everything was amazing including the food service, and atmosphere.

A very nice place. The quality of beer and availability of beverages was fantastic. There were options readily available for those that were out.

Yes, the food is great and the outside patio is perfect for everything from team outings to a romantic evening by the fireplace.

But it's really the fact that the Steins people are just the best. Always, always, always.

From the manager Marco who always greets us with the warmest smile, no matter how busy, to Christian and the waitstaff who make you feel right at home from the first sip of cider to the last bite of their epic donuts, I can always count on Steins to deliver.

So many interesting kinds of beer to try! The food menu pairs well with the beer selections, and it has the authentic feel of a German beer hall. Plenty of parking in nearby garages is very helpful.

It is one of many top restaurants in the area, but we can only try one at a time.

This place is so good! And the presentation was spot on!. Outdoor seating was very nice and so cute. I liked how all plants were planted in pots and there was astro turf in some areas. We brought my jack Russell Chihuahua and she likes the place too. My kids also likes the place too. We will definitely be coming back with friends.

Lovely place to grab drinks in a group along with great food to go with it. Since it's located in the Castro street area expect it to be busy in the evenings. Service is great with several waiters and bartenders making rounds for any needs. Seating is ample and larger groups can be accommodated with a large outdoor patio. The drinks are great with a wide selection with some choice local drinks as well. The food is quite phenomenal. I'd never had tomato jam before and it was really tasty. The house variety of cheese was tasty as well as the beer mustard. All this went with my pretzel which was nice as well. Do note like most sports bars pretzels run out quickly. Lovely place to go have a sophisticated drink and food with equally sophisticated people. Do be prepared to spend a bit here, but you will get your $$$'s worth with fine cuisine.

Better food than most bars, including fresh salads! Great place to watch sports especially the World Cup ⚽ Also, you can bring your dog and sit in their lovely outdoor area!

Great Customer services. Nice location in Castro Area and multiple options to sit at rather as a large group or individual gathering. Beer selection is robust and decent food menu. Staff is always super helpful with deciding items. Menu prices are what you would expect for a casual Bay Area restaurant. Overall it is one of my job's favorite places to go for a team lunch /dinner as they are always accommodating and have a varied menu with great ambience and super helpful staff. Not going to blow your mind experience but you won't regret going either.

Food was yummy, we ordered a beer sampler(liked all 3 options for the first time). Loved the waitress recommended cocktail, the color n taste was awesome. Service was very good and very friendly staff. Good place also for a family dinner.

Been coming here for years and the service and food are always solid. Their soft pretzel is delicious, the beers on draft are great and I love their Stein's burger! Never had a complaint here and it's a great place for pretty much any occasion.

Great service, great food. You can't go wrong with this place. I visited this place for the first time and loved everything. They have great beer variety. Will recommend and visit again.

Visited this restaurant and Beer Garden happy hour, and boy was it one happy hour!
To be honest I was blown away from the ridiculous value within each dish that was ordered. To be honest, between three people at a fancy restaurant in downtown Mountain View, after we all had drinks and our meal we we're expecting to pay at least double what we had to pay?! Amazing!
The food was cooked so perfectly I can almost taste it now.
And the drinks were so on point I couldn't stop sipping till it was gone!
And the atmosphere was superb, it was however a little loud for my taste but it seems as if the Acoustics in this restaurant aren't really planned out well.
I can't wait to go back to this place again just to try something else that I hadn't tried before... If I have tried it before, then I haven't had it this good tasting!

Beer 🍺 is delicious 😋 here. Had a burger 🍔, love the med-rare cook. Appetizers w/ the beer is a must!
Service was above par, nothing to rav about. All food was cooked to the tee. Appreciate the cooks!
Parking is super packed on weekends.
I would definitely come back & enjoy good company w/ some drinks & Appetizers.
