Vasona Lake County Park

It is a very clean park.
Quiet park also.
They have paddle boats to rent 50 bucks hr.
Nice paved for walking and bikes.
Lots of friendly ducks and geese.
Bathrooms are clean!
There's also a little train ride.
Fishing 🎣 need fishing license.
There's a plus with this park during Christmas time.
It is transformed at night as a stay in car ride of Christmas lights throughout the entire park.

Huge park with a large lake to enjoy some time outdoors. Plenty of paved lanes to walk, bike, scooter all around. Fishing is allowed. Pedal boats and more are available to rent seasonally. And, it's connected to the Los Gatos Creek/trail to continue a journey either above or below the park. A kid's train runs through the park, too. The lake was recently drained for repairs to the dam as of this review. Good idea to check ahead if that's what one was looking forward to specifically. This park is so good for parents as well as kids as it has a lake and running water around. Best place for having family and friends Meetup and having picnic together 🧺

Fantastic place to get your steps in and enjoy the scenic Lake Vasona in Los Gatos. During the day you’ll meet joggers, walkers, strollers, bicyclists of all ages. Pedestrian friendly with places to fill your water bottle and benches to enjoy watching the Canada Geese & Coots. Great place to bring your little ones with playground climbing structure (but no fence around so keep an eye out for them wandering off. Choochoo trains 🚂 and a fun adventure. Dining in downtown Los Gatos with plenty of choices.

Beautiful lake, facilities and well maintained greenery! Canoe rentals in advance are available no private canoes on the lake was my only gripe....we cycled in.

Had a nice picnic under one of the gazebos right at sunset. Bring some bud spray if you do this, because the Care Bear stickers don't seem to keep mosquitos away 🦟🐻

The restroom was actually pretty well-kept--I honestly didn't regret using it!

One of the best places in the bay area. It is always a fun outing with kids here. So many activities to do between this and the adjacent oaks meadow parks.
Highly recommend visiting here and doing some activity in the lake.

Beautiful picnic spot for all. Has a toy train for kids also a merry go round. Beautiful lake for boating, a biking and walking track . Ample parking space on payment of $ 6. There is also free parking along the road.

Great park for jogging, biking, boating(temporarily closed), and birdwatching. Ample parking with a fee. Well maintained trails. Clean restroom. The train is perfect for kids.

Well kept grounds. A beautiful lake with lost of wildlife and a trail that goes all the way around the park for walking and biking. Trash cans help patrons keep the are clutter free. In the summer, there is also a concession stand for treats.

I’ve been here couple of times, but this my first time back on thanksgiving/ 2020.
No parking fee, no entrance fee,
It has a lot of picnic tables, BBQ area, clean bathrooms, staff working here very friendly, and the most perfect place to capture the fall colors, since the air was calm and the sun was out.
It was a little bit crowded, but everybody was wearing masks and they were good with building a distance.
This park provides a lot of different activities ... such as running,hiking, fishing, walking, bicycling, and of course be modeling.
If I stayed a little later, I will be able to enjoy the beautiful fantasy of Christmas lights.

Vasona Park is a park that I particularly enjoy and is conveniently located near my home. I make it a point to visit this park every other day for a walk. I find that the park is less busy during the weekdays, particularly on cold or rainy days. On weekends, there are usually many people visiting the park.

Great scenic walk. Lots of shady areas along the creek on hot days. Playgrounds and picnic areas for kids. Stroller friendly. Dog friendly. Large fields.
