The manager, I believe his name is Javier, is a gentleman. Their workers are a mix of friendly and just doing their job, but when one of them miscommunicated a warranty policy on a battery, Javier made it right.

Glad to have these guys, but and gave 5 stars because of the made up mistake, but anyone who buys a battery here should know that once the battery is used even once they will NOT exchange it for a different size. That's their policy, you should know because it won't necessarily be explained that way.

These guys are fantastic! Theyre always helpful and they always have exactly what I need. I've been going to the ones in Marina, Capitola and on May St in Santa Cruz ever since they first opened. On top of all that, they also have free rental of special tools. Its excellent all round.

So staff is knowledgeable the may not always have the part right away but they will get it for you and I like the fact that they will loan you tools if you give me your ID

Fantastic customer service! I bought an A/C recharge kit here but forgot to replace the low pressure valve so it immediately started to leak. The team sorted me out with a valve and fitted it for me so I could use the remainder of the refrigerant to top the system up. Saved me a bundle and had me on my way in twenty minutes. Six stars!

Pulled up to get new windshield wipers and a few other much needed parts, and Juan and his coworker were more than helpful and accommodating. Although they were close to closing time, Juan assisted me in installing the windshield wipers. Thank you!!

I had 2 hours to get a new battery into my car. It was 5 o'clock and dark and the temperature was dropping quickly! The manager and the staff here quickly helped me choose a battery and they installed it for me right on the spot! I would definitely recommend this particular auto shop.

Staff is very friendly and attentive. Was offered help immediately upon entering and the cashier was even cracking jokes with me. I usually visit this place when the situation arises and they are as reliable as always.

I went to O'Reilly's to get a new battery for my car. The person behind the counter asked if he could see my car. He attached something that measures how well everything is working and told me that my battery was under warranty (which I didn't know) and that everything was working fine. My battery had just taken a hit due to someone breaking into my car and leaving the interior light on. I have not been treated with so much kindness and professionalism since moving back to Santa Cruz. I would highly recommend using O'Reilly's on 41st avenue for your automotive needs.

There's the coolest chick that works there. Literally the coolest. I think her name is Raven. She's the best. Knows more than all the dudes I've talked to, so patient, so helpful. trust me. If you've ever had a bad experience here, go back and ask for Raven and she'll fix it. For real though. 💯🍀

A random woman shopping there had a really cute dog and the cashier told some pretty good jokes. They also had the exact oil that I needed right where I'da thought to look for it. How couldn't I give five stars?

Friendly service knowkegaboe helpful and not bad prices for Brick and morter store. The manager is really a kind hearted helpful man willing to help any way he can and doesn't take advantage of woman who may not be car smart. .

The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. I needed to change my battery and, dingus that I am, forgot my tools. They graciously lent me some shop tools so I could get myself set up.

They have the parts, and they will help you find them. Good service and they made it easy for me to get the magnetic clutch relay I needed to get my AC working again.
