This is a beautiful and lush forest. Located north of the “main” Henry Cowell State Park. The Fall Creek Unit is just as amazing. The trail that follows the creek is amazing. I highly recommend it. The trail is mostly flat with a few creek crossings. I will definitely come back and explore this place again.

Really beautiful. The stream is flowing well and makes the perfect sound. The mushrooms are coming out to and are great for photography.

Our local hike! Or family and friends have been enjoying the Fall Creek Unit of Henry Cowell State Park for decades! Miles of hiking! Beautiful spring fed Fall Creek runs strong all year round! ❤ You can go out and back or go for a loop!

Good variety of trails. The ones on this map I would call moderate for the most part. Most people should wear a sturdy shoe or a light hiking boot. Trails generally well-marked. Went midday on a Wednesday and I usually went 3-4 minutes at a time without seeing other hikers, though went more than 10 at one point. Lovely creek sounds much of the time.

What a beautiful forest and creekside trail. Many down trees & trail slippage from the recent rains, but it’s still passable for the nimble (not for those using mobility aids).

A great hiking area with some great scenery. There are various trails and the main one follows Fall Creek and leads to a few historical sites. The landscape is beautiful and in the fall the colors are amazing.

It was represented as an Enchanted Forest and it sure was that. Did a terrific 4-mile hike along the river bed and high up on the ridge. It had elevation but was a pretty easy trail to navigate.

Love this trail. It’s probably considered an easier trail but there is a little uphill. Beautiful scenery and free parking.

Busy spot on weekend - no facilities - free parking but dirt lot - typical Redwood Forest Hike (gorgeous) but right almost in the middle of Felton - entrance on a curve and locals drive fast so don’t dally on road

My happy place! Running or walking it’s one of my favorite trails in the area! It is quieter than some of the other trails in the area and if you come early you’re guaranteed a parking space. Otherwise there is plenty of parking on the side of the road!

One of the most beautiful places in California in my opinion, the sprawling redwoods and river running through are amazing sights to behold with plenty of places to sit down and just kick it in the middle of hiking. It's also big enough that you can take a hike and not run into anybody the whole time, overall top notch woods

Beautiful. Amazing. Perfect.
The hike, easy and for beginners, was completely encompassed by the most breathtaking of scenery throughout the entirety. Never before have I seen such amazing flora.

Another local treasure. Best not to talk about it or describe it's beautiful trails and towering redwoods. Don't mention the numerous creeks, little waterfalls and the mossy outcroppings.

An incredibly beautiful redwood Forrest that sustained major fire damage during the 2020 CZU Lightning Complex fires but in spite of this tragic setback has been a place of unbelievable rebirth. Several hiking options that include some challenging parts, but are worth every step of the way! Enjoy!

One of the best trails in bay area I guess, took me around 3 hours to finish the loop, very nice and peaceful!

A marvelous walk along a mossy brook, with downed trees growing a colorful array of mushrooms, leads to ruined limestone kilns.
