Shoppers Corner has a great selection of both domestic & international products. An excellent wine department with a lot of good entry level wines being offered at discounted prices. Also has friendly staff and a real butcher department!!

Parked in front of this unassuming grocery store while visiting The Buttery across the street. Popped in for a bottled beverage and was blown away at how amazing this place was. Authentic butcher in the back and the beer selection is exemplary. The staff was cheerful, helpful and knowledgeable. Overheard a customer asking where the freshly stacked organic raspberries were from and the staff member mentioned which farm without missing a beat. I'm not sure how the corporate grocer down the street is still in business.

This is absolutely my favorite grocery store of all times. The selection of high quality food products compare to nowhere else I have shopped in the past. The butcher counter offers top of the line meats and seafoods. Products are a bit pricey, but you pay for top of the line food items. Beautiful wine selection as well!

Are you kidding me?!!! This place is the absolute best and yeah sure they carry the best snacks and have best butcher in town with the freshest vegetables and fruit. But nothing compares to the amazing service I get every single time I come in! Myself and my family live around the corner so we visit almost twice a day sometimes so that says a lot that every time we are treated with the best attitudes and smiles in town. Last but not least I have to give the angel Courtney a huge thank you! She goes above and beyond! Just goes to show support small and local business. I've been shopping at Shoppers for 35 years. Eclectic and wide selection of cheese has always drawn me back. Also the mostly local, fresh, mostly organic produce. Plus the meat counter -- those guys have sharp knives and friendly advice on how to cook your cut. Wine doesn't interest me much, but they have it lining about three walls. The wooden floors, narrow aisles, small check out stations (can't help noticing the attractive clerks) -- all speak to the fact that this is a family-owned, neighborhood store with what you need, and if it's not here go down the street.

This is the best store in Santa Cruz. They have a real butcher shop. They sell locally made breads, have a fantastic assortment of cheeses and excellent fruits and veggies. Excellent service too.

This is the best grocery store in the county, easily. The meats and produce in particular are always top quality. Great wine selection, with many local vineyards represented. This store is a crown jewel of local life.

Sometimes, I just wander through the store, browsing at the huge selection, they carry. Shopping is always a pleasant experience when you shop at this store.

Been shopping here since 1989. I LOVE Shopper's! They always have the best and freshest veggies. They have a small footprint but manage to pack a lot in their store. I also really like the steaks and bacon. Some folks may think they are expensive but I shopped there even when my food budget was very small and I always found things affordable and of excellent quality. I hope they are around at least 30 more years.

Shopper's is a Santa Cruz locals hidden treasure. A small, but we'll stocked, family run grocery store, it has the best butcher counter in town, a great selection of wines and great, fresh fruits and vegetables. Plus, the chocolate shelf by the checkout is awesome!

This place is a local jewel of a grocery store. It is small but packed with surprises on every aisle. Lots of mid-1900's ambiance, but very progressive, keeping up with trendy Santa-Cruzan tastes. Marvelous selection of cheeses and wines. Great meat counter with friendly guys (when will they get a woman back there?). Top-notch local produce, much of it organic, and other local foods. Friendly young women (when will they get a guy up there?) at the checkout. But also eclectic selections among the shelf items that lead to tasty discoveries for a shopper who pays attention. Great chocolate selection too. The best thing about living in a not-too-big city is exactly this: a neighborhood, independently-owned, well-run, fun and interesting grocery store!

As a long time local I have affection for this store but lately they have had foods we cannot find in other stores, what happened to crackers? notice nobody has them? Shoppers does! Great cheeses, chocolates and produce, check em out

A local market with top quality produce, butcher counter and a wide selection of standard and specially items. All this at prices generally less than Safeway and with really speedy and friendly checkouts. Paper and cleaning goods will be more expensive, but I buy all my food here.
