This lighthouse is in a very beautiful park right on Puget Sound. It wasn't open - so I couldn't go inside it- but it was well worth the trip to see it. The park surrounding it is very peaceful and well maintained.

Cute little working lighthouse, that you can visit if they are open. They are short on volunteers so check the website, which tell you the dates when they are expected to be open.
If you want to go up the tower you need to sing in in the lighthouse with the volunteer present, and they will tell you the wait time. There are 3 people allowed up there at once.
The volunteers are really nice and very knowledgeable about the history of the lighthouse and the grounds.
In one of the keepers house there is a cute little gift shop, and a room with a little exhibit.
And to visit the lighthouse and the exhibit is free.
If you arrive by car, you need to pay for parking.

The light house and park has bay views and green areas. The light house itself is picture perfect.

It is a popular place for wedding receptions as there was at least one happening when we were there.

Great place. Just wondering how that short tiny lighthouse could be a navigational aid in puget sound. I'm from the Chicago area( Streamwood il.) Actually. our lighthouses on the great lakes are much bigger (width wise and Taller. But it was still worth the park and 50 foot walk.

Not many lighthouses in WA allow you to access after dark. This cute little one is an exception. Food & beer @ Diamond knot nearby is good.

Lovely little lighthouse. Only open for a few hours on the weekend in the summer. No cost but donations are suggested.

The lighthouse along with the park were really fun for a sunny winter day. The grounds were clean and bathrooms not bad either. The fire pits along the beach are a nice touch as well. It was quite busy, however, so plan ahead if you're making the trip. Iver's for lunch right next door was nice as well.

We loved that we could walk the grounds. So often lighthouses offer no access.

Great spot to sit and watch boats, planes, trains, and sea life. The lighthouse is an awesome historical landmark. Love going to the park and letting our son play. Haven't been inside the lighthouse itself yet, but soon!
