Dana Park

It's a long patch of green next to the fire department with plenty of trees for shade. I'd bring some small kids for flag football but set up camp on the shoreline side so you don't lose the ball to the street

It is indeed a cute little neighborhood park. It is really the expanded front yard of the fire station...the official description should share that info. I liked that parking was relatively easy and there's little and mostly local foot traffic. Though there is car traffic due to the proximity to downtown MV and the fire station trucks come and go from next door. The park isn't large or flat enough for a lot of running around but small dogs will like it. Funny enough, if you go around the corner there is also a small grassy field at the police station though that's not an official park like Dana Park is. Go firefighters!

Nice little park. No playground thus less crowded. Lots of shade relative to the space.

Tiny and surprisingly quiet park next to the fire station with a stonework art piece and a redwood grove. Also features a pokemon gym.

Nice little green space. No play area for kids other than the sculpture. It also has a trash can which is useful if you are walking a dog.

Modest sunken green space next to main fire station. Nice for sitting and as a dog run, not particularly equipped for play.

This cute little park is hidden right by the fire station. There isn't much to it except one small sculpture and a grassy area

Cute neighborhood park with a nice grassy field. The only downside is that it doesn't have a public restroom.
