I cannot say enough about Dr Kuty's kind, compassionate, patient demeanor and respectful of our grief and time. She explained the process of our pets transition. She listened to our stories and continually checked to see if we needed/wanted more time with her for our last goodbyes. Dr. Kuty's provided us a careful and deliberate opportunity to give our pet Choco her last goodbyes. Dr. Kuty created a beautiful experience for me and my family and her professionalism is outstanding! 🙏❤ I don't wish this grief on anyone but I would definitely contact her again for another pet if I had to.

Dr. Kuty helped my doggie Molly cross the rainbow bridge and it was one of the hardest things i’ve ever gone through in my life to lose my best friend of 16 years but she made it as easy and non-traumatizing as possible. my kitty Izzy was able to say goodbye as well. Dr. Kuty is one of the most compassionate people I’ve ever met honestly and I’m grateful I was able to have my final moments with Molly be so peaceful. I received a beautiful urn with Mollys ashes as well as her paw prints which i will keep at my side for the rest of my life.

We lost our beloved 9.5 year old staffie Dallas on 4/19 to bone cancer. Scheduling Dr. Kuty was one of the hardest decisions of my life. Yet her visit was like that of family member. She is very professional and caring. She made my dog happy in his last moments on this earth and we will forever be grateful for that. Dr. Kuty has a true calling. She offered to notify his vets, sent us support resources and a card. Grieving a pet can be lonely. Unfortunate a lot of people don’t understand the degree of this loss. Thank you so much for helping us through this most difficult moment. I cannot imagine doing this without you. I would give you 10 stars if allowed.

Dr. Kuty helped my 17 years old cat cross over the rainbow bridge. She provided her service with patience, sincerity and professional manners. She was able to provide the same day service. I feel so fortunate to find Dr. Kuty for in-home euthanasia service this time. I absolutely recommend her to help you and your pet's difficult time go through smoothly and easily

Maria was able to provide same day in-home euthenasia for my dear dog. She was so understanding and compassionate during such a hard time for my family. I absolutely recommend Maria to anyone experiencing the difficult time of having to put a pet to sleep. Being able to help him pass in the comfort of his home was so much better than going to the veterinarian's office one last time.

When it became obvious that our beloved cat was near death, we contacted Dr. Kuty to perform in-home euthanasia. Our sweet Gemini brought us 18 years of joy - we miss her so much!

We are so thankful to Dr. Kuty for facilitating Gemini's peaceful passing in her own home surrounded by her family. Dr. Kuty was incredibly kind, compassionate and so thoughtful. We very highly recommend her.

Cannot thank Dr. Kuty enough for her compassion, empathy, patience, and expertise during an extremely difficult time. Although it was heart-breaking to say good-bye to our dear sweet cat of almost 19 years, we are forever grateful to Dr. Kuty for his peaceful passing.

Dr. Kuty is amazing. She is such a sweet lady and made our kitty's passing very peaceful both for my family and for the cat. She even tucked her in a little basket to take her away, it was really quite cute. She rocks, couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Dr. Kuty is phenomenal. I called her office about end of life services and the two women I spoke to from the office were so respectful and kind in asking for information about our needs. I was coordinating services for my friend's sweet older kitty, Mocha. They were able to service her area and had a next day morning appointment that was exactly what was needed for the situation.

Dr. Kuty gave an ETA and was exactly on the dot, which the family was grateful for. She was extremely respectful, kind, and soft spoken with us and handling the steps in the process. Mocha took to her immediately and eased my friend's anxiety and fears on whether or not this was the best step for their beloved little baby. Dr. Kuty's wisdom, expertise, and grace blew us away and made us all feel so safe and comfortable with Mocha in her capable hands.

I truly believe the service that Dr. Kuty provides, allowing these furbabies to pass on in the comfort of their own homes with their loved ones surrounding them, is an absolute godsend. It allowed the family to have positivity and love surrounding their sadness and grief. It was an experience I don't believe any of us will ever forget.

I know there will likely come a day where I will need to consider such services for my own furbabies and without a single doubt in my mind I would contact Dr. Kuty. Thank you so much for everything you've done for the family.

Thank God for Maria Kuty. She is truly an angel who I was lucky enough to find during one of the most difficult times in my life. The strength and compassion it takes to deliver the level of care she provided for my Oso girl and my family requires a true gift.

Oso was diagnosed with end-stage stomach cancer at the age of 7. After four different vet opinions, including UC Davis, I had to accept the reality that there was nothing more I could do for my baby girl. Knowing that Oso was in relentless pain and the quality of her life would never return, choosing to help her with the end was the most heart-wrenching decision I've ever had to make. Finding the right veterinarian to assist in this process was a decision of faith. I had been referred to other housecall vets by friends and family, but none of them felt right in my heart. I found Maria Kuty after scouring through dozens of other reviews on google and yelp, and as soon as I found her, it just felt right. She was able to accommodate us just hours after my initial phone call (which was a scary feeling, but also one of great relief).

When Maria arrived at our house on a cold February morning, she brought a presence of calm, comfort and empathy. This helped Oso remain relaxed, as well as myself and my daughter. She took plenty of time and sensitivity in explaining the process and answering all of my questions and concerns. Oso chose to lay down in the garden when she was ready, and Maria allowed us ample alone time before the injections, in between the injections, and afterwards. It was honestly the most peaceful experience I could have asked for. I could tell that the process was not painful or scary for Oso as she drifted off into a deep sleep, in my arms, leaving behind all of the pain from this awful disease, forever. The grace and compassion that Maria brought for us that day was a gift.

The cremation service that Maria chooses to partner with is probably the best one available in Santa Cruz/Santa Clara counties. That is also an added comfort in such an emotionally grueling time. Maria even brought Oso back to me after her cremation, with the box lovingly swaddled in a basket.

The extra lengths that Maria goes to, to bring peace and comfort during such a sad time, is extraordinarily remarkable. She truly is an angel, and I can't thank her enough!

Thank you, Maria!! From the bottom of our hearts!! XOXO

I had a very difficult decision to make and didn't have much information from all of the diagnosis I was getting from veterinarians around what was wrong. She was very knowledgeable and was extremely patient upon her arrival making sure I was ready to move forward with the process. I will be referring her to my friends and family if heaven for bid any of them need to make that tough decision in the future. You definitely can't go wrong giving dr. Maria Kuty a call! I can't say enough good things...

Dealing with end of life for a loved pet is sad and difficult for everyone. I'm writing this review months after Dr. Kuty helped me with our dog, and after a few years back doing the same with our cat. It took a while to be able to choose to remember it directly. I can't begin to thank her for the service she provided. For hospice and end of life for your pet, I highly recommend her.

Dr. Kuty is a very kind, patient and compassionate person, and obviously a huge animal lover. Unfortunately, I recently had to let my sweet cat go due to illness. Dr. Kuty helped me through every step of the process., as I was a mess. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone needing help with their pets

We feel very lucky to have found Dr. Kuty. Scruff, our big mixed-breed dog, will soon be 16 years old, so outings to the vet are not his idea of a good day. Maria has made our lives so much easier, and Scruff is now actually enjoying his vet visits. Scruff does not allow just anyone to probe and poke, yet he allowed Maria to examine him within the first few minutes of her first appointment at our house.

She is excellent. She is very compassionate, kind, professional, experienced, intelligent and has a great sense for taking the time to listen and consider different courses of action. Her open-minded approach to animal health is so refreshing. We feel like we have someone working with us as a partner, rather than merely a consultant. Scruff is already doing better under her care.

Thanks Maria!

My almost-19 year old cat was at the endstage of kidney disease, and when she took a turn for the worse yesterday, I knew it was time to let her go peacefully. I did not, however, want to stress my cat out by taking her to her vet for last experience, and after a bit of research, I called Dr. Kuty. To my surprise, she was able to come out that afternoon. I, of course, was a mess, and Dr. Kuty's empathy and compassion was much appreciated. My Miss Scully was able to go peacefully. on her blanket, on the sofa next to me, comfortable and loved. Dr. Kuty is even taking care of the cremation and returning Scully's remains to me, so less for me to deal with at this difficult time. I give Dr. Kuty the highest recommendation should you ever find yourself in need of a vet for home visits, particularly if your fur baby is being euthanized.

Dr. Kuty was compassionate and kind today as I put down my beloved kitty. It's such a difficult moment to say good-bye to a dear companion, but Dr. Kuty could not have been more professional and sweet at the same time. Thank you, Dr. Kuty.
