The team at this dental office is amazing, from the receptionist, dental hygienist and dentist - they're the most caring and friendly group of people. I always look forward to seeing them at my regular cleanings. Lia the hygienist makes me feel so comfortable and she has a gentle and thorough approach. She's so knowledgeable and has great ideas and tips for me. Lynda the dentist is so kind and caring. The receptionist is also super friendly.

I love everybody at Kai Family Dentistry. Dr Tran is amazing, and I actually look forward to my teeth cleaning with Lia. I always leave the office feeling uplifted, educated, and totally taken care of.

Lynda Tran is a dental artist and she has assembled a "crack crew" of professionals, from the dental hygienists to the receptionist. The women on her team are professional, friendly, and caring. This is the place to get dental care in Santa Cruz as her capable crew has been taking care of our family's dentistry for years now.

Dr. Tran and the entire Kai Family Dentistry Team is phenomenal. They put your safety and comfort first. I have been a client of Dr. Tran and her team for nine years and happy.

Not once has Dr.Tran and her team recommended a service that was not necessary or tried to sell / upsell on services that were not needed or 100% necessary.

In addition, I brought up the subject of veneers to Dr. Tran and she educated me in the entire process, best practices and to see if I was a fit. As a result, I came to Dr.Tran once I was ready for cosmetic dentistry and extremely happy with the results.

As always, from the reception until I leave everyone is wonderful. My cleanings with Lia are gentle yet very thorough. Everything is always explained in detail. I have multiple options to ask questions. Dr Tran is very gentle, very friendly, and makes sure I never feel rushed. I highly recommend this practice.

Dr Tran is one of the best doctors I’ve had for many years. She is very careful and has very good assessment to difficult case such as my teeth😅. The staff is super nice and I can’t be happier to be one of her patients . I trust they are doing the best for my teeth. I would totally recommend to anyone if there is availability to take new patients.

Dr. Tran and her staff are very professional, caring, and efficient! At my latest appointment, she cast a temporary crown in under an hour, with no pain (I love the nitrous!) and great communication. Because the old crown broke down in just four years, she is replacing it for free!

Leah, the dental hygenist, deserves praise too. She has been cleaning my teeth in he same office for 30 years. All around, a trustworthy, competent and kind dental practice!

Always such an awesome experience at Kai Family Dentistry! Every person on the team is so skilled, kind and patient focused. Can’t say enough good things! I literally drive to Santa Cruz from reno to stay with this practice :)

Let's face it, folks, visiting the dentist is not all that pleasant . . . right? But don't be discouraged. I'm certain we all enjoy the chance to catch up with the Kai gang. And while many dental treatments may be less than pleasant, I'm guessing most of us accept it in reasonably good spirits. Well . . . maybe. We know the results will be helpful and healthful. Its not that often when most must visit and we always, I bet, welcome the staff's cheerful spirits. So this is an honest thank you to each of you . . . especially Dr. Tran and Lia. For those of you who are patients, just remember . . . you'll get a brand new toothbrush if you're good.

Imagine a visit to the dentist being a pleasant experience, and that’s what these women make happen. Lia is amazing- I firmly believe I will never visit another hygienist who could compare. She is a gem- warm, personable, thorough, knowledgeable and passionate about her job and supporting patients in their dental care. Anna and Dr. Tran are both warm and wonderful as well. I appreciate that Lia and Dr. Tran never oversell procedures or scans. They only recommend what is absolutely necessary, and they defer to my desires about anything that needs to happen. This is the best dental practice in town.

This dental office is the best in my opinion. The receptionist is friendly, organized, and great at communicating and answering questions. The dental hygienist is very gentle, sweet, and knowledgeable. Last but not least, Dr. Tran is a delight. She is a great listener and very engaging. She spends as much time with you as you need to answer questions and her suggestions for preventative care are never pushy or rude. I am so grateful to know what quality dental care is because of the women who work here!

As a person with extreme irrational fear of the dentist chair, Lynda and team have made the experience as manageable as possible. I've never felt as comfortable in the chair as I have here. They also fixed my issues with no judgement.

I just had my teeth cleaned today by Lia. Her gentle, calm, almost hypnotic manner left me in the most relaxed state I’ve ever been in during or after a cleaning! She took extra care to make sure she wouldn’t cause pain in my exposed roots and extra sensitive teeth. She also answered my questions clearly and very professionally.
When I met Dr. Tran several weeks ago for my introductory appointment, she also put me at ease with her calm professionalism. I’m actually almost looking forward to my upcoming appointments for more extensive dental work!

Dr. Tran and her entire team, really are fantastic. I, like so many others, am not a fan of going to the dentist and I can have a bit of anxiety around it. They always do everything they can to make sure I am comfortable and relaxed. I especially like the fact that they talk you through everything they’re doing or going to do, and make sure I understand. And then give me a chance to ask any questions or raise any concerns I may have. Nothing is hurried or rushed and everyone is so very friendly and accommodating. And to top it off, Dr. Tran is about the sweetest darn person I have ever had the pleasure of meeting! Very grateful I found her! I really can’t say enough good things about this team:)

I've been going to Dr. Tran's office for a few years. She and the hygienists are caring and attentive. I have had problems with my neck and they are always accommodating and helping to make me as comfortable as possible. The office is clean and comfortable. It's by far the best dental experience I've ever had.

The ladies at Kai Family Dentistry go so far out of their way to accommodate their patients and to always consider their comfort first. I have been a patient here for decades and appreciate the staff being retained after Dr Brennan retired. Dr Tran is a warm, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable dentist. Lia is a kind, thorough and gentle hygienist, who obviously loves her job. She is encouraging, empowering, and knowledgeable. Anna is friendly, efficient, helpful, and knowledgeable . She also wears many hats in the office. I couldn't hope for anything more.

Always a positive experience, made even more so by the careful systems they've put into place to protect their patients and staff. I felt completely safe. Lia is the BEST hygienist ever, and Anna is wonderful in each greeting and in keeping things running smoothly. I feel lucky to be a patient here.
