SureStay By Best Western Santa Cruz

Stayed here for a week in 2017. My family and I had a great time. We had 2 queen size beds and enjoyed the amenities.

We watched movies, relaxed and just really had a relaxing visit. We were dealing with repair issues at home so it was nice to just have everything working correctly.

The continental breakfast was much more variety and options than expected. Helped with having kids who can be fussy.

I cannot say enough about the friendliness and hospitality of Manager Laura! This is our second stay in four months and it was wonderful! My husband and I both celebrated birthdays here and Laura went over and above to make our stay special! Rooms were clean and parking plentiful (even with a car show in the area). Anything we needed was made readily available. This young lady works her tail off and deserves a raise and certainly a huge Christmas Bonus!

I was in town for a work meeting and needed a convenient place to stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean! I requested extra towels which were brought right away! Breakfast was a nice addition to my stay.

Really quite a nice affordable find. Well apportioned rooms, great, very responsive staff, especially Dollar, he's awesome! The maintenance staff was on it after guests check out, with continued maintenance of those little things that fall/chip off with normal wear and tear. Really quite a nice place, walking distance to literally everything! Highly recommend!

Not to far from boardwalk. Excellent front desk customer service. Very quiet and clean. Rooms have plenty leg room. Coffee always hot and breakfast was very delicious. I am coming again for sure

Lady at front desk very helpful and kind. No pests, clean beds and room. The floors could have been cleaned better. For the price it was very nice.

This hotel is one of the best local hotels with great customer service. The manager Laura is always available for anything one might need during their stay at the hotel. She is sweet and attentive with an eye for detail. Her work ethic is excellent and deserves a raise. Thank you Laura for a wonderful experience!

Reasonably priced rooms that are well appointed and immaculate, and a hotel manager who is an absolute gem. Laura made us feel SO welcome, and went out of her way each day to make sure our stay was pleasant. I highly recommend staying here.

Rooms were very clean and spacious. Breakfast was great and coffee always ready thru out the day. Will recommend to friends most definitely. Front desk lady was helpful and attentive.

I have been going to this hotel since 2019 before the remodel and even after and it is still my favorite place to stay when I’m in Santa Cruz. Since they have remolded it is now a best western branch which is great because I get to earn reward points! Breakfast is great, manager Laura has always been helpful and always so sweet. Location overall is perfect being so close to everything in town still.

Laura was very kind and accommodating. Room was clean and bathroom newly renovated. Would definitely stay here again.

Front desk receptionist was awesome. She was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was on time and fulfilling. Would definitely book again no questions asked.

The rooms were clean and so were the premises. The rooms were quiet as well, and the pool was also very pleasant.

But better than that was the customer service, I really appreciate the care and effort put in by the manager Laura. I would absolutely stay here again.

Laura and her staff work harder than our construction crew that stayed at this Best western for a week! Laura is very accommodating and does her duty to manage this place well! Friendly, quiet, breakfast is nice and decent. Rooms are very clean, can’t complain, looking forward to the next stay

Great location and great service. When driving up noticed some yelling going on. Ad i got closet and driving in realized they were not guests, They were just walking by and then I remembered oh yes this is Santa Cruz. Once inside the hotel I felt completely safe. Laura (front desk) and her staff make u feel @ home.

Laura, @ the front desk is the most accommodating host- she has gone way above to make my stay comfortable!

Simple but not extravagant. Elegant but not fancy. Technically this is a motel (rooms are accessible from the outside)
Laura, our evening host was professional and friendly. Even offered a yogurt for my dad. (Yes...it's the simple things that count)
We originally had an upstairs room, but we objected as my dad can't climb stairs. Laura was kind enough to upgrade to a first floor with no charge!! Very nice!

Rooms were clean. This motel has hardwood floors. A big plus for those who may have allergies. For me, the beds were very comfortable. Not too hard nor do you sink in them!
Hint for management: Use one large trash can in the room and one small in bathroom area. Three tiny ones fill too quickly.

Awesome service , the lady at the desk was really cool and understanding . I was concerned about my truck that had 5000$ of chainsaws on it and she told me where to park that had the most cameras and gave me a room really close to my truck also . Highly recommended

I give this hotel stay 5 stars…. So keep in mind this is Ramada/Best Western type accommodations. That being said, I gave 5 stars because of the staff.
We needed extra blankets, pillows and water at times and they were right on top of it. Non stop they were running around staying on top of cleaning and helping guests. My son enjoyed the pool which was opened late.
Rooms were clean and nice, AC worked. Quiet area. Great restaurant across the street and close to a Starbucks and gas station. We would stay here again. Thank you to Laura and her staff for making our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
