They must be giving out free memberships because there's not a lot of room to work out when it seems crowded with hundreds of people. I guess that's more friends to make. They run out of rags to wipe machines off. I could just bring my own rag. The spray bottles go empty. Their food and drinks are over priced. Someone broke into my locker and my lock was gone.

Excellent gym. Lots of equipment to use. 2 indoor large pools and another outside. Everybody was friendly.

Very pricey gym but it has everything I used to come here years ago and changed to save money but I'm back again because there is no comparison. Its a you get what you pay for in a gym situation. The app is nice too.

Clean facilities, great equipment, staff, and community. Davyon and Jordan are the best over there, super attentive and caring of the members. They need raises , promotions, or both. Just wish they had a bigger parking lot 🙏🏽

Found out Alignment of Medicare provides a gym membership. I chose InShape because of all the amenities available there; swimming, weights, spin classes, and elliptical machines, among other things. You have to schedule your swimming sessions, but that's a good thing.

In shape is a good place to work out. Each gym is different and has a different vibe. The Floyd gym if you work out with the main machines youre with everyone, the McHenry gym you have different areas if you want to work out in private

Great commercial gym, the staff are super friendly. If you're going after 5p then be prepared to fight for a parking spot. 😅

It was my first time at the McHenry North facility and I was extremely happy with the facility. The staff were awesome, helpful and super friendly and there was plenty of outdoor equipment to help those of us that are trying to meet our fitness goals during this nasty pandemic. I found that the members here are very courteous and get along nicely, they also wear masks and keep social distancing guidelines. As soon as my broken foot/toe heals, I will be back in there getting ready for the Tahoe Show #tahoeshow #inshapemchenrynorth

The facilities are well maintained and kept clean. The staff are warm and welcoming. And the instructors are awesome!

The group classes are great. The instructors are awesome. The custodians do an amazing job keeping the club clean. The employees at the front desk welcome you in and wish you a good night when you leave.

No other gym has been this clean the way this location is. You have the worker always wiping everything down & great music. I would say it is busy but honestly just shows how good this place is, so everyone is trying to come in. Staff is super friendly & very approachable! Definitely has made my New year’s resolution keep going strong since it’s May & I’m still attending!

Great facility. If you like indoor pools they’re pretty warm. Too warm for me pretty much but I still do the Water Class aqua fit. There is a pool outside but it is not heated in the summer it’s great. I haven’t really seen the rest of the gym but it’s very well taken care of. A staff at the desk are always friendly always say hi welcome and as we leave always tell us to have a good day.

Body Pump with Angelica (T) Body Combat with Delcy (Sat) Yoga with Kim (Tues & Thur) and Freestyle with Lupita (Sun) are all amazing. Add a Sauna visit after each one and you have a good day. I highly recommend 👍

Multiple areas to work out, variety of equipment, functional fitness area, open, clean and staff is knowledgeable and helpful when needed. Love Love that this particular location has racquetball courts and now has pickleball available, which I am hoping means tournaments will be coming soon. This particular location is much more modern than some in this area and this is why I have made it my home gym!! Parking is difficult during peak times but that is an issue at most In-Shape facilities except perhaps Briggsmore due to it being in a strip mall area. I also enjoy the outdoor pool although it's super cold some days it is mostly refreshing after a hard workout or on a hot summer day. As long as pricing doesn't get any higher then I already am paying I will be a long haul customer, even though I can do most things the gym has outdoors or go a lake, reservoir area etc... It is nice to have all in one.

McHenry/ Floyd In- Shape is my home gym...I absolutely love it here..there are so many machines and free weights and different areas and activities...always a great workout just waiting to happen 💪🦵❤🏋‍♀🤸‍♀🏊‍♀🧘‍♀

This gym is HUGE !!! Beautiful facility with clean pools and top notch equipment. Does need to monitor there bathrooms for toilet paper and cleaning more often since it's such a busy gym.

Great location, it is centrally located and the layout of the gym flows very well I enjoy how open it feels even when there are a lot of people present. Staff are very friendly and can answer most questions quickly.

Gym is very clean, there are three pools, one for laps and two for recreational swimming, they have a jacuzzi, as well a sauna and steam room.

I absolutely love the water fitness program. The staff is wonderful. When I go into the gym, I am greeted and welcomed by name. I am disabled and the staff is very attentive.I feel very comfortable using the gym!!!

Great variety of machines and work out area. My daughter loves the kid's zone and swim lessons they offer. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is always someone cleaning the workout areas or parking lot. I feel safe and comfortable working out there.
