As always my experience was fantastic once I got to the store. Fast appointment time. Was in and out selling my car within 30 minutes with a check in my hand. Always gives a fair price. Although the reservation system was an absolute nightmare. Took 5 days to finally accept all the pictures and information they wanted

Sold my 2016 Colorado. First did the online estimate. Took it in the next day and their offer matched. This took about 20 min. Toyota salesperson told me they couldn’t match the offer from CarMax so we went back. The payment process took about 15 more minutes. It was so easy!!!! The staff were great. Not sure why CarMax has a 3 of 5 rating on Yelp.

It was a red carpet experience the entire way. I transferred the car I wanted with ease. CarMax informed me that it had arrived and scheduled a test drive. I fell in love with the vehicle. The pick up day was a breeze. The staff members were able to get me in and out within an hour. Great experience.

I was told CarMax made the best offers on cars, and they were right. The online offer was more than I was expecting to get for my car, so I took it in to get it appraised. It went quickly and they even gave me a little more than my online offer which was awesome. I would recommend selling to them

We actually already referred a friend to go see Marcelo Rocha himself! Marcelo was awesome, suggested everything within our wants and was obviously honest with us! Our experience with Marcelo Rocha could not have been any better. We've never had a car buying experience as such.

I recently purchased a 2017 Honda Ridgeline RTL-E from the Modesto CarMax and I really love this truck. I’ve happily driven a Pilot for the last 21 years with a great turn radius and the Ridgeline rides and handles just as well, with a truck bed instead of the third row seating and a few additional improvements.
The entire staff at CarMax Modesto was helpful and the whole process went pretty smoothly. There was a small hiccup, but Sales Manager LaDonna stepped in and had it straightened out in no time. I would not hesitate to recommend this group of professionals for your next car purchase. And they gave a very fair valuation on my trade in as well. All of which was done in less than a couple of hours.

No haggle pricing is a nice option but be warned that their prices were on the higher side. On the flip side they pay top dollar for your trade in especially if it is a common car on the road like honda van or accord. Staff was very pleasant and efficient.

Shout out to Mo for the help !! This is an edit on my previous review. I ended up trading in the first truck for the exact same truck basically just with better features. MO MADE SURE I got the best deal and service possible

Brought my newly purchased vehicle in for warranty repairs. Ruby, in the service area, has been very friendly and helpful. Hopefully, the repairs will be done by end of tomorrow,

The salesman I had was very understanding, and very patient with what I was looking for. He always answered the phone call when I had a question no matter if he was at work or not he made me feel very good about my purchase would not change a thing.

Fantastic experience with Carmax! This is our 5th car through them & all times have been great. Employees are friendly, helpful & not pushy at all. I love that they have a 30 day guarantee! It gave me time to figure out the 1st car I picked out had gas mileage of only 12 mpg! Waay lower than expected, so even after all those weeks, they let me trade it for something that eats less gas. I plan to keep this car for several years, so having one In happy with is important to me- and it seems like it's important to Carmax too! I appreciate that!

I love the Fiat I bought here. It runs great, had a spotless Carfax, and I love the different warranty options they offer that allow you to pick the amount covers based on what you can fit in your budget. Will definitely purchase here again!!! Thanks Kevin Williams ❤💯

Leo was so polite and answer all the questions I had. What I really like is that he did push me one way or the other on the vehicles I was looking at.

I purchase escalate....I found problem ( paint job) next I went to them and i showed the problem...they was very friendly and helpful...they gave me rental car...they will fixed it.......I love them they restful company....Manager and employee they are great 👍 👌. I wish for them the best....people should buy from carmax....they are the 👌best ....

I had gone to test drive a vehicle that was shipped out from another location, the man who helped me I believe his name was Andres, he was extremely nice and accommodating! I wasn’t fully in love with the vehicle and had seen another car from a different location that I liked, he was kind enough to do the shipping request and gave me more details on the car. We were able to set up a time the following week for me to see it & unfortunately he wasn’t going to be there but he told me to ask for Bobby (Roberto) and he was great, very helpful I wanted to purchase the vehicle and he helped with the entire process! Both did an excellent job, the customer service was very good overall.

I financed this vehicle from carmax credit, & every other month or so the billing statement would come a day 2 before or on the same day it was due. Even with their generous grace period it became stressful to avoid late charges. Even when I paid the thing on first sight. Payment got posted the day after. I have had no issues with any other creditors Period!
But rest assured everybody was polite & courteous, even when informing me I should mail the payment sooner. I loved that car but they made it more of a hassle to keep than it was worth. So I sold it back to them. My visit was great both times. Service after the sale...good luck with that!
