These other reviews are absolutely absurd! This bank provides me with some of the best customer service I've ever had, literally. The women who work there are completely friendly and personable. I love F&M because of these people.

Our accounts were transferred from another bank about three-years ago, and without a doubt we have experienced the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER in our long history (80 years combined) of checking/savings & business account banking; including our business accounts. We appreciate FMB McHenry Avenue’s reasonable banking hours, experienced, friendly, professional banking personnel, especially when the bank personnel takes the time to make sure each customer’s transaction is completed without issue. In addition we really appreciate FMB’s user-friendly online application system. No matter how large or small a question or concern FMB has accommodated us completely & professionally. It is our pleasure to be able to be associated such a professional financial institution.

The staff is personable and understands the needs of a small business. They have gone out of their way to help my company be successful. You can't find a better branch or a better group of people.

They provided my daughter with her FFA loan for her market sheep. They have always been kind and courteous. She has her own account and does her own banking and they have been nothing but kind.

I've been banking here for close to 15 years. I've always had friendly service, often greeted by name as I come in. No problems with hidden fees, just good honest community banking.

Mediocre bank experience. I closed two accounts as a result of being out of state. I had to write them a letter to make it official, they charge me $7 for a money order to return my balance. Why could they have not written a check? The problem with banks in Modesto is they are all disappointing, even the credit unions, you are just kind of stuck with what you get.

Could be better

I went into this bank to get a lock box and a rude employee by the name of Andrea asked me what I was putting in it, in which she’s not allowed to do and was telling me you can’t put cash in there and told me to wait that she’s busy with attitude. She was also being rude to other employees

Worst customer service I have EVER seen! At least 6 employees, 3 customers & it takes 25 minutes to simply cash a check? Would have spoke to manager, but she was in the middle of a hugely important conversation with a teller and a customer about her holiday plans! And to top it off they had the nerve to ask if I'd consider opening an account!! Really?
