The Pit Stop 292 Cafe

I thought the name Pit Stop is apprapo, had breakfast there on Tuesday, the service was par excellence, food was delectable. The ambiance was quite charming with all the memobilia on the wall. What top it off was a group charming drivers of antique motorcars we met as me and my brother were leaving out the door, and we enjoyed taking pictures of their vintage cars. What made our breakfast so enjoyable was our waitress Jolie, she was really nice and attentive, a pleasure to meet. I highly recommend the Pit Stop.

An amazing local cafe. Definitely a “Hidden Gem” kind of place. The atmosphere was classic fun old time cafe and the food was spot on delicious and large servings! I couldn’t even finish my breakfast burrito it was so filling. We look forward to coming back for lunch sometime and to have many more breakfast dates here! Highly recommend this wonderful cafe!

The owner came over to the table and I produced himself he was open and sincere I liked him. Told him I was an Army brat and that my daddy made sos every Sunday morning I was gonna try his. It was really good the biscuits were soft the creme gravy was pretty good and it had plenty of sausage. I take the girls out every two weeks for a Saturday morning meal and this past Saturday we celebrated a birthday.. everyone enjoyed the food and the customers were fun to watch.. A table of all men reminded me of my daddy and his LCPD and old Army buddies brought back great memories. If you want good service great food and time to relax you gots to come in and visit you will be happy you did!?! 🕶

When we step paw in the place, it's like they knew we were coming, because there's a table reserved just for us – with a flashy sign that reads, "Reserved for Enki, the Bacon-Loving Royalty." Yeah, you heard it right, ROYALTY! I'm basically the king of the Pit Stop, and my throne is a cushioned booth with a direct view of the bacon-bonanza kitchen!

Now, let me tell you about the bacon – oh, the bacon! I get a plate full of those mouthwatering bacon strips every time! It's like they've discovered the secret to making bacon even better – maybe it's infused with unicorn giggles or something! I wouldn't be surprised if they have a Bacon Butler hidden in the kitchen, making sure I'm always served the finest, juiciest bacon strips in town!

But it's not just about the bacon – no sirree! Jamie and Roseann shower us with love and attention like we're the most famous doggos in town! They even know all my quirks, like how I do the "happy tail dance" when I'm excited about my food. They encourage it! Talk about top-tier entertainment and doggo appreciation!

And let me not forget the food! Every dish is a culinary masterpiece – fit for a canine connoisseur like me! From the breakfast that make my Dad’s taste buds go wild to the Lunch that makes him go "woof" (I have a feline friend who's a fan of the PitStop too), it's a canine carnival of flavors!

Remember they’re located right next to interstate 10 so it’s a quick pop in and out if you’re on the road.

Breakfast was delicious and inside is like going back in time. Ready enjoyed the old atmosphere too. Had not !been there in decades.-

I stop in here every time I go thru Las Cruces. Love everything on their menu and always buy 2 LG containers of their green Chile sauce. It's SO good. Today was a B&G with sausage and eggs. Mmm. Good!

Visited on a whim. I had the tacos and they were delicious ! Beans and rice had flavor ! Service was great.

I don't know what kind of magic they use on that sausage, but it is delicious. They are enormous and look like hamburger pattys but tastes like the most delicious pork sausage. The eggs are great and also the bacon. We were really happy we stopped here. It's also super convenient if you need to get on the highway after you eat.

Beautiful breakfast with my mama! We shared a biscuit and gravy plate, and a French toast plate and we got so full! 😋

While traveling through NM, we picked this quaint diner blindly for breakfast. So happy we did. The staff was very friendly and our food and coffee were delicious and hot. I would not hesitate stopping here again if ever back in the area. Oh, and the prices are very reasonable like back home in OH 🍽
