Zook's BBQ Barn

Zook’s does a pig roast outside every Saturday in the summer and it’s quite an experience if you like pork. Pulled pork super tender, moist, and not fatty. Pro tips: spend a little extra on the sauce. Their meat is well seasoned but the sauce takes it to a whole new level. It’s lightly tangy, salty, sweet but doesn’t overwhelm the pork. We got a sandwich and 2 lbs Togo (one for us and one for family). Price is reasonable and what a delicious bite. Highly recommend coming on Sat for this. There’s always a long line but moves fast. They take credit card too so you don’t have to scramble to get cash.

This was our first time back since COVID, and it was worth the trip, we got bbq chicken, Mac and cheese, bbq ribs, mashed potatoes with gravy, Old bay baked chicken, delicious and they are very friendly and good service. I was so happy to see that they are still around. Oh and there was a crowd of people waiting for food, but it wasn't too long before you were placing your order. Highly recommend.

We went to Madera Fish within the Farmers Market and purchased fresh fish to be cooked at home. Fish was great! Sometimes we go there to purchase Mexican food which is also real good.

Excellent food, they are always busy. The sweet potato and roasted carrots are great. The chicken can be a little dry at times. So much food to choose from.

They offer a nice variety of food items. We've tried many of them, & each has been delicious. Ribs, chicken, pork, & the veggies are very tasty.

Comfort food at its best. Cooked onsite: bbq ribs, roasted chicken and pieces. Four types of wings, roasted mushrooms,sweet potatoes, roast carrots, etc too much to mention. Not greasy. Roasted and rotisserie cooking. Yummy! Always very clean and friendly. Sold by the pound or eat in or take out meals. Penn Dutch style food!

I used to work at the PNC bank next door a decade ago, and once a week I had a half chicken for lunch. I went back two weeks ago and I swear time has stopped inside the whole market. Everything is as I remember it, and if anything that same half chicken is even better now. Don't forget to get extra sauce, you're going to need it!!

I love Zook's... so do a lot of other people. Take a ticket. Their service is fast and the food is delicious. Rotisserie chicken, ribs, great mashed potatoes.

As always the food was incredible! Fresh lean roast beef and mashed potatoes. The meat was so tender.

I frequent this location quite often. I'm especially glad that they now sell fried chicken, plain or spicy, which is very good.

My son and his family recently visited from Florida and when it came to dinner the only thing they wanted was Chicken and Ribs from the Farmers Market

I was buying prepared food for someone who loves their chicken, ham, mashed potatoes, mac-n-cheese, carrots, broccoli, and mushrooms.
