The Children's Place

This evening, my Daughter and I stopped at this CP location to grab school uniforms for her and my Son. I came to Google to read the reviews before heading there and was hesitant based on the low 1.5 stars. I’m so glad that we went anyway, because we had a great experience! Prior to going, I called the store to see what mall entrance was closest to enter through and whoever answered the phone was very friendly. Then the moment we walked into the store, we were greeted immediately by the Store Manager Aja, who also was super helpful with getting us sizes from the back that weren’t stocked up front, getting us into the fitting room, and ringing us up. I have a disability with a walking cane, and she helped carry our items to the register. I watched her and her new Team assist other customers with great customer service and was so happy that she has turned this store around! I mentioned her poor online reviews and she admitted that there was a struggle with Team Members before, but that this new crew is doing well and it was very apparent. People take the time to share negative experiences, but I wanted to shout out this Children’s Place location for a wonderful customer experience this evening! Thank you so much again for EVERYTHING Aja and Team!

This store has a lot of struggles. A lot of inventory, massive sales (=lots of customers) and disengaged staff. I bought 3 matching Christmas dresses for my girls and picked them up at this location. The dresses are adorable and the price was amazing, but it took a long time to get them. I have to recognize Carmen who went above and beyond to take care of all of the customers, clean up and assist with retrieving the packages. They are lucky to have her!

The absolute worst customer service experience ever!!!!! Worst ever in life. This should’ve been a simple transaction seeing as how it was a pick up order and I paid online. Literally all the associate had to do was get the order and give it to me and they failed miserably. Every last one of them. They are rude and unprofessional.
1. They gave me a big box with $200 worth of kids clothes. I asked for a bag they refused. Mind you this is a mall so there’s no way to park by the entrance and I had my toddler and my older son with me.
2. I asked if I could check my order at the register 1st associate said yes. Second associate came up “I guess I can’t check anyone else out” what pissed me off is that the register was not being used the whole time we were in there. I swear the first time they used it was when I was there.
On top of everything they are just horrible. I don’t care how good the prices are I refuse to go back to this Childrens place. Please let me know when you guys get new management and new people. Idk who the manager is but all I can say is the fish rots from the head down.

Childrens place Literally stole from me. I purchased stuff for my girls and the payment went through, said approved and I was waiting for my receipt, then the lady said it didn’t go through. So I Call my card and it said it’s completed and it completed as a cash transaction. But I used a debit card though , so I called customer service and the lady is telling them the payment is completed. Long story short they wouldn’t give me my stuff and I now have to dispute the transaction from my card. Embarrassing! Never again, I’m done with children’s place.

Very poor customer service! Stay away from this location if you can. I came in with 2 small children to pick up a ship to store order. I was given two, large, bulk boxes that makes it difficult to grasp. Why’d the lady refuse to give me bags for me to put the items in? It wasn’t about the weight of the boxes, hit the awkwardness of holding them. I have a weak grasp, so a bag would’ve made life a little easier. I won’t ship another item or shop at this location.

Worst customer service I have ever seen. I had to return few items, even though I had receipt they dint take one of the item saying they dint have price tag on it. I showed them which exact item is that in the receipt. But still they refused. So I did return other items and came out of the store. When I realized I missed to get the return confirmation receipt, I went back to get it. Then she told me she didn't even complete the return. I was in complete shock. If I didn't come back I would have lost the money for my items. She didn't even call me to tell that she didn't finish the return transaction. Very irresponsible behavior and rude reply. They didn't even care about their work and they are doing it like they are providing free service to us.

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST AND I MEAN WORST. I ordered uniform shirts for my niece and a first Halloween outfit for.my newborn niece. When I placed the order I stated that my sister-in-law would pick up the items. When she went to pick them up she was told I could only pick them up. I don’t live near Cumberland Mall. I called the store and the associate stated that my order was returned. They NEVER contacted me and told me that their policy was to send the item back without contacting the customer. This not only doesn’t make sense but it explains why the have such a low rating. I’ll contact corporate tomorrow but Children's Place will never get a penny of my money and will never see me as a customer. My only regret is that I couldn’t give them a zero.

I had the worst experience today with the store manager. She was extremely rude and unprofessional when I asked for her manager. I then called customer service and they didn’t speak English smh. I just want to speak to the general or district manager. Will I ever be contacted, I highly doubt it. I would suggest you to go to any other children’s place but this one!

My family and I were not greeted when we entered the store. The first person I saw was a maskless employee on her phone who didn’t ask me to put on a mask. So I didn’t put one on after a few minutes an employee yells from across the store to put on a mask………if you want mask worn fine but being loud, ghetto, and unprofessional isn’t it. Normally I ignore this kind of behavior but while I’m clearly in ear shot I heard the girl who yelled bad mouthing me for not wearing it in the fist place saying how I was not welcome. Needless to say I was will not return to this children’s place or any other again and we will be canceling our “membership” to this company if this is the standard in GA.

Worst customer service. They give you a hard time when it’s time to exchange/return even tho you have your receipt. Literally they are looking at the online receipt and everything.

I'll never shop at Children's Place again. I wish I could give 0 stars. My son is almost 10 so you can imagine how long I've shopped here, and at this particular location. So I had some girl clothes bought in December for someone else. Still in the bag, receipt not touched. I wanted to exchange them for boys clothes. The return policy is 45 days. I didn't want money back either. I wanted to exchange and would have paid more if there was a difference in price. The girl told me no, I could only get the same items in the same size. What sense does that make? I know she doesn't know me personally but I spend a lot of money with this company and would have spent more if I was able to do the exchange. Time to find another place to shop at not only for my son, but for any kid I know that I'm shopping for. I will never spend my money at Children's Place again!

2 evenings ago I am in line, black male & a black female behind the counter. Black couple in front of me. Myself, Hispanic woman. I clearly heard the woman behind the register tell the couple in front of me that they would be needing ID for any credit or debit card purchases. I got up to the register, was using a credit card and wasn't asked for any ID whatsoever. I almost asked why I wasn't asked for ID, but I opted not to. Here it is 2 days later and its still on my mind. In the climate of todays society, be fair, stick to the rules and do what's right!

Rude service. I had to engage the cashier by saying "hello, how are you today?" She was mad I asked to get a price check -because its holiday season and everything is on sale, I knew it most likely wasn't the tag price. Attitude the entire time. She didn't bother upselling when I enquired about spending more money($11) to earn more CP Cash. She was also visually irritated when I needed to use my store card but didn't have my card on me. To top it off, I get home with NO CP CASH!!! If you don't want to work retail through the holidays, GET ANOTHER JOB!!! I will be back to correct my transaction today but probably not ever again.

The cashier was very rude, after waiting in line for over 20 minutes, I arrived at the front and when I took out my debit card she asked for an identification and I didn’t have any on me. Her first response was you can leave the items right here. She didn’t even ask if I wanted to pay cash she just dismissed me from in front of her.

This store has the worst customer service ever! I waited in line for almost 30 minutes, with only 2 people in front of me. It was hot in the store. The staff was being extremely rude to the Indian guy in front of me simply because he asked for his clothes to be placed in two separate bags. They argued with him, going back and forth for about 15 minute about a BAGGGGGGG! The staff kept saying that they were running low on bags and he can only have one bag. So freaking ridiculous. I was ashamed to witness the entire ordeal. It was very distasteful. Then when he walked away, the staff started talking about him to other customers.

Recently, I called to place some uniforms on hold. With an attitude, I was put on hold only to be transferred to to different people to tell me the same thing. That I can only have it on hold until closing the day of. I stressed that I was aware of that, they placed me on another hold for about 15 minute to look for the item, when the item shows available online. Smh. Children's Place, please DO BETTER!
