Only place in Boise I've found that does a proper cup of tea. I lived in Taiwan, and very few places to proper tea like they do in Asia. This place does it. Including serving it in a beautiful pot or mug and on a gorgeous platter. It makes me so happy to be able to enjoy tea done right. Something that few places understand. I usually get the Sencha and it's wonderful.

Also - staff are 100% awesome. Really friendly and cool.

Nice nutty cortado with good latte art and texture to the drink. Fairly good jasmine-like Ethiopian pour over. It’s a nice shop.

I wanted to find a local coffee shop where the coffee beans were roasted in-house and this place didn’t disappoint! There are beautiful murals on the wall and has such a modern asthetic.

Chill Atmosphere - On a Sunday afternoon it was hard to find a seat. People were meeting friends or doing work. I loved how chill the ambiance was and I felt like I could have stayed there for hours.

Delicious Coffee - I ordered an iced oatmilk latte ($5), and it was the perfect blend of creamy and flavorful. We also ordered a hot chocolate ($4.50), that had a delicious, nutty flavor and it wasn’t too rich. I really appreciated that they didn’t charge extra for non-dairy milk!

Coffee Beans - They we’re almost sold out of their beans, so I’m glad I was able to snag a 12oz bag of their Burundi coffee. The barista said this was her favorite. The bag was $23.

Location - Neckar Coffee Shop is located in a convenient location. It's close to several major roads and street parking is available. It was free for us because we came on a Sunday.

This is the best coffee shop in Boise. From the kind staff and nice owner to the included sparkling water, this is my favorite place to go for coffee. I also love buying their beans and using them at home!

I moved to Boise over a year ago. And Necker is definitely one of the best coffee shops there is in the city. They have delicious pastries amazing, staff and amazing drinks. The coffee roast they have are impeccable. The atmosphere is very relaxed. The staff makes sure that everything is correct and they have an open door policy to letting them know if something is not quite right. They were very well informed coffee making and they’ve helped me understand the process and experience on how to make a good cup of coffee. It’s coffee shops like these that got me venturing even further into my coffee niche. The owner has helped me understand the process and various way to make coffee. It is shops like these that create a desire for being a future barista. Oh and it’s dog friendly too.

Amazed at the quality of coffee here. Both the latte and the americano were amazing. For the latte, it had enough bold flavor and did not taste bland. Space was also open, clean, and modern. Price seemed higher than some of the comparable cafes in the area.

While visiting Boise for a work trip, last night my partner and I walked by this shop and were very easily convinced to come in to play trivia. Somehow we managed to win trivia and won a gift card! (Sorry to the other teams 😆) I came in this morning to use the gift card - the morning vibe & coffee is just as pleasant as the evening & wine vibe from last night! Super nice staff, inviting space, and quality drinks. Plus, there was no extra charge for alternative milks!!!! I really don’t understand why more coffee shops haven’t caught up to this yet, but I guess it makes spots like this even more amazing.

They weren't able to do the pour over due to an issue with the grinder, so they gave me an espresso on the house which was some of the best espresso I have ever had!

Also the sparkling water with an espresso is a nice touch.

Definitely will be back to try some of their different varieties in the future!

Neckar goes above and beyond in every area! The coffee is excellent. I had both a pour over and a cortado, so I can attest that both their espresso and their pour over beans are excellent. The atmosphere is incredible as well. The workers foster an upbeat, communal culture - I think one barista knew almost everyone’s names. Both baristas were extremely kind and conversational (not to mention exceptionally skilled). I was just passing through, but if I’m ever in Boise again, Neckar is a must-stop location.

My favorite coffee roasters in Boise. Nice staff, clean facilities, killer chai, and great coffee. I keep their espresso on hand at my own home. If I’m downtown, this is where I go.

Didn't get to try any food but their coffee was so gooooood. They have an amazing mural by a great artist that was impossible not to stare at. Like I want that mural in my house. Even if you don't like coffee, please visit! Wonderful staff, great art, delicious coffee. Wish we had this place in Texas!

Neckar coffee has won me over, and I can confidently say that I will make it a point to visit every time I'm in Boise. I’m excited to try some pastries next time as I will hopefully come a little earlier in the day to get the best selection. Drove through the snow to get here. Totally worth it! Excellent cortado, delicious brown sugar latte and THE BEST biscotti and lemon loaf we have ever had. Actually went back and bought more biscotti for the rest of our trip. Definitely a must stop destination!

I really care about the quality and taste of my coffee, this was a great coffee shop. I got a cortado, which in my opinion was made perfectly. I love that they try to use clean ingredients and as close to organic as they can. Definitely coming back next time I'm in town.
