I was in the mood for pumpkin coffee and saw their outside sign for pumpkin latte. First time visiting. Love the vibe.They were out so I got the carmel latte insead. The best coffee I've had EVER!!! Slightly sweet, amazing flavor and not overpowering. My new favorite coffee spot.

It’s been 10 years since my last Bowl of Soul in SV, and it is still as delicious as I remember. I knew when I was heading to Boise that Java would be a must, but I didn’t realize that the crew here would be so amazing too! The location is stunning, the employees are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the drinks and treats are divine. I went on a rainy walk around the Capitol after getting my BoS and enjoyed it to the very last drop. I won’t be waiting another 10 years before coming back this time! Thank you for a fabulous vacation morning spent exactly the way it should be!

Java is and has been my favorite coffee place downtown for years because their service is always above-and-beyond (thank you to Jordan in particular for always being kind & efficient), their beverages are exceptional (my fav is the bowl of soul with whipped cream), their food is delicious, and they’re really fast. Can’t go wrong with Java! <3 Ari

My fave spot to come get my Matcha Latte... Blended White Zen, specifically...I think that's it's name...it's so delish!!! And that Sunrise Muffin!!! Staff that work there are friendly and always smiling!!!

One of the best coffee shops in Boise! Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, excellent coffee and food. And I love their "Wake up and live" motto, a great way to start off the day!

The breakfast burritos are killer!! Great vegetarian and vegan options. And great hot sauce selection!! Super cute spot with lots of table space. Lots of people WFH and studying here.

We loved this place: great vegetarian breakfast selection (try black beans and eggs steamed with cheddar cheese and warm tortillas) and lots of shaded outdoor seating with dog water bowls out. Coffee is excellent. For dine-in orders they use silverware and plates, with no plastic to be seen. Perfect stop after the "Old Pen" hike.

The girls at Java are so sweet and super fast. I love this place for meeting friends or for Sunday morning coffee with babe. Try the Lumpy Muffin. Warmed. Yummmm.

My favorite place to work remotely in Boise because of the fast internet and comfy couch.

More of a personal taste thing but the aesthetic is dark and cozy which I enjoy a lot.

Not a huge coffee aficionado so I can’t speak to that but I enjoy their smoothies, teas, and Italian sodas. Staff is always very kind and open to conversation.

Great local shop. Decent selection of eats and a full coffee and tea menu. Good for a meet up or place to work for an hour. Some outdoor seating also.

This is my absolute hands down favorite coffee shop! 🙌 Hot mocha with fresh whipped cream, yes please and the food is super delicious too.

If you like sweet awesomeness it has to be the Bowl O Soul but if you like the strong coffee I enjoyed the Hammerhead which is a black coffee with two shots. Breakfast burritos are all good. Great place.

Super solid place for a cup of coffee, a good conversation with a buddy, or just work on your computer. I'd recommend it to anyone in the area as long as they're fine with walking because parking is sometimes difficult. Other than that though, yes go give them a shot or let them give you a shot idk either way 👍🏼

This is the kind of coffee shop that every walk of life loves! Super busy, and their bowl of soul is the best cup of coffee period!

Fantastic quaint little place to get a cup of joe or a handcrafted latte. Reasonable prices and a wonderful atmosphere to sit and have it could conversation with wonderful company. I would recommend this place for breakfast or brunch and most definitely a good place to share a cup of coffee with friends or even work on your computer. I really enjoyed this visit.

Great atmosphere and even better coffee! This venue is larger than I expected looking at it from the outside. There is ample seating and while they are not “two hour” chairs, the furniture is comfy enough. Bonus: Try the Thai Coffee. It is delicious!

Cozy, quiet atmosphere. Great for working on your laptop or chatting with a friend. Yummy coffee! I had the Thai coffee because I was having a major sweet tooth and it satisfied the craving!

I am an espresso junkie. There are a lot of neighborhood/niche coffee places in Boise that do not seem to understand the coffee flavor wheel. Without naming names, most places serve coffee that's too green, sour, or tart. It's not in the sweet spot: rich, dark chocolate, smooth, good flavors from the good spectrum of the wheel.

Java has repeatedly hammered their espresso out of the park. They are efficient in their service and unmatched in quality. I go out of my way, driving past many other coffeeshops, to enjoy this place. Coffee lovers coffee.
