Wild Root

Delicious! Went here for a girls lunch after our originally planned restaurant was unexpectedly closed and really enjoyed it! We tried the Egg Platter (one with bacon and the other with grilled chicken) and the Wild Skillet. Everything had great flavor and was perfectly cooked.

absolutely fantastic food, service, and experience. the flavors on the dishes we had were absolutely spectacular, the bread? top notch. The orange juice tasted fresh squeezed. I would 110% tell everyone to try this place once. My only complaint is that the chairs aren’t the most comfortable, which really isn’t even a big deal.

The “little devil” sandwich and a cup of coffee is a refreshing reason to get out of bed! The deviled egg aioli and red onions pull the egg avocado sandwich together with perfectly-crispified buttery fluffy sourdough. A bit on the pricey side ($15 for the sandwich) but worth every bit for the ambiance and presentation.

The coffee was just right in strength and temperature, and was clearly made fresh with freshly ground beans. Quick and friendly service, modern and clean space with a hip vibe and good music. The place was absolutely packed and I still got my food in ~10 minutes. I’d gladly recommend this to any friend or family!

Wow this was so yummy. we did not expect this much flavor from such healthy food, but it was probably the yummiest food we had in all of Boise. We were really impressed. The location is also great. If you sit out on the patio you can do some nice people watching.

Pleasantly surprised by the good food. Wasn't expecting it to be as good as it turned out. Not many option for brunch, thought there would be more salads. But what we did have was amazing taste and good size. Little expensive, but normal for 8th Street.

My partner and I came here after the other places we attempted to go from breakfast had ridiculously long lines. We had patio seating which was comfortable and not overly crowded. Our service was on point and food was awesome! I had no issues finding vegetarian options. Will definitely be back!

Cute coffee shop with great coffee. I had the mocha with the Avocado Breakfast Toast. The coffee was delicious, and the toast was a work of art that tasted better than it was displayed. Surely a meal any millennial would be thrilled to have.

The location is great, too if you’re visiting or just passing through. It’s a nice place to relax and enjoy a warm cup of coffee.

They also have full-bar cocktails (which is an evolution for this space).

My go-to here is the steak and eggs, but everything I've tried is good (french toast is #2, yummy Acme local bread).The prices are a bit high in a relative sense, but it's downtown, and the quality is also there.

Coffee drinks/espresso are also good.

Service is attentive, and there is outside patio seating when it isn't cold.

Clean restaurant and great service. The food presentation is beautiful and tastes just as good. I had the bruschetta and was very happy with it. My husband enjoyed the Roast beef sandwich. We also had the Nourish Bowl, which I felt could have used a little more of the vinaigrette. I also really enjoyed their coffee.

Little on the pricey side but other then that it was good food was fresh highly recommend customer service is great free water 💦 and love the outdoor seating not a very crowded place I enjoy coming in the early mornings menu isn't that big I highly recommend this place
if you got money to spend

If you are hankering for a fantastic brunch and have anyone with allergies this place is fantastic. The Tofu scramble is something to leave you wanting more and with many alternatives to milks and cheeses it is a vegan delight to visit here. And to Those who are carnivorous the steak and eggs was absolutely adored by my partner.

This was a delightful place to have dinner. The staff were super friendly, the options were inclusive and delicious, and the decor was clean and calming. We also got to try a fantastic new cocktail with mint, elderflower, and a touch of hot pepper that will hopefully hit the main cocktail menu in the near future. Many other restaurants with vegan and vegetarian options feel pretentious or leave you unsatisfied; this was not the case at Wild Root. We are looking forward to returning for brunch and seeing what other delicious treats they have in store.

The avocado toast with tofu scramble is TO. DIE. FOR. Absolutely love coming here. The service is amazing as well as the exquisite food.

I got the power bowl and my husband got the steak huevos rancheros and a latte. Our food was all amazing, so much flavor and tasted so healthy and wholesome. They asked if we wanted hot sauce or salt and pepper, I said yes because sometimes healthy food places can lack in flavor. Not here! It was so good. Will definitely be back!

It was amazing. I got 2 eggs and a hash and every single bite was delicious. And meatless!
My husband loved his ciabatta toast but said his steak and hash were under seasoned. It’s the kind of restaurant where I’m poking around trying to figure out how to replicate it cause it’s so good.

Got the French dip and Mac n Cheese for Friday evening dinner. Wow!. Very fresh food, this is a place to return too.

The food was wonderful, the service as well. It was a nice treat for my sister and I. I can't afford to go there too often, but I recommend this place highly.

Exceptionally good food. Very knowledgeable staff with regard to dietary restrictions and allergies. Highly priced, but totally worth it. Unique drink options, I tried the Sawtooth. So good! 10/10.

I was in Boise for a conference. This restaurant was found on a morning stroll. Wonderful breakfast🔥. Migas was absolutely delightful. Staff was was quite nice and the food came out fast. Great location

This place is really cool. The young ladies are amazing. My friend and I ordered 3 drinks while we were catching rays. Super yummy. We will go back to eat.
