Goody's Soda Fountain

this ice cream and soda shop is very authentic with too many options to choose from! The staff here is very friendly and they have pretty much any flavor you could think of as well as candy to top it off!

Chaotic ice cream place, served by ambitious young folk probably in their first jobs, landing in a sweet spot between being effective and having a good time with their coworkers. Coconut ice cream waffle cone is my go-to but everything I’ve tried is great. Love everything about the place, feels like a 2023 take on a Norman Rockwell painting. We take all our out-of-town visitors here at least once.

If you want what is easily the best ice cream and desserts in Boise, you better stop at Sarsaparilla! Between the classic and funky flavors, the homemade waffle cones, sundaes for days, and an assortment of candy to make you drool, you're bound to have a peak ice cream experience

A must visit if you like ice cream, floats and sodas! Fantastic service and the best Brownie Sundae and Cherry Coke and Chocolate float we have ever had.

Milk chocolate and Kahlua truffles were outstanding! Salted Toffee Clusters were delicious, and the Classic Coke was simple and very satisfying.

The two employees working on Friday afternoon were super friendly and accommodating. Thank you for making us feel so

Such a fun place to go grab some ice cream and walk around Hyde Park. We also really love the chocolate drizzled caramel corn too!

Very good location, friendly staff and a fun place to hangout and eat. They have decent patio seating as well during spring and summer. Easily my fav ice cream place in Boise. Lot of options in home made ice creams and milk shakes too. My favorite is Turtle Sundae. Also, definitely try their Banana Split, it cannot be missed.

In case you didn’t know yet, they also maintain something like a punch card where you get a free order after a certain number of visits. Wouldn’t hurt to get that if you go to that place frequently, which I’m sure you will if you go once ;)

This place is AMAZING! let's just say the HOMEMADE hot fudge WITH MY HOMEMADE ice cream made my eyes water with joy. definitely will always find a way to go there. Wish they had a location in Utah.

Every thing was so nice and inviting I have been a couple of times and every time it has been so nice and the homemade ice cream is so good even on a cold day I think that Goody’s is one of best candy and ice cream store and the stuffed animals are so soft and cuddly

Cozy little place. I was skeptical about the egg creme. I'm not a chocolate fan, but this drink surpassed my expectations. So refreshing. I'm so glad I gave it a chance.

I stopped here during one of my visits to Boise. It’s right down the street from Camels Back Park. There are also a few other shops and restaurants around the area. Staff was very friendly. They offer outdoor seating.

Love it! I haven't been here for a while, but we came here for the promotion they had last weekend.Then I came back today after a little hike at Camel's Park. The employees are wearing masks. They are asking for only 5 customers at a time. They sanitized patio tables/chairs after each customers. So they are on top of those things 😊👌🏼.
The ice cream is so fresh and creamy, and the waffle cone is super delicious. The toppings, the fruits are good/fresh & the (liquid) marshmallow is so yummy. & I love that the employee who helped me today was able to recommend another topping choice, to replace an unavailable/seasonal topping.
They have baked goods (price is per lb), and I can't wait to try it tonight as dessert 😊

Great staff ,giving the orders quickly , friendly, wearing masks which is good, and professional. I liked social distancing signs even not everyone following it! Of course yummy ice cream!

Today was my first visit to Goody's. I had a little fun when I ordered. I told the nice lady behind the counter that I wanted her to pick something for me to try that was pretty. She played along and tried to decide between a banana split and one of their ice cream sodas. She finally chose an ice cream soda and made it with raspberry soda and strawberry ice cream. I shared it with my son and was super impressed with the flavors. It was worth it to let her guide me.

The shop was cute and comfortable. They we non-stop busy with families stopping in for a treat. Wait times were reasonable. Parking was a bit tough, but not a deterrent at all. Great spot to take the family. Stop in and enjoy a coffee, homemade candy or ice cream. You won't regret it😎

This place is super fun! Originally we were trying to go to a coffee shop that was packed with people. Ended up coming here for some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had. They are also open till 10pm every night which is fun. It has a great old-school ice cream parlor atmosphere, and they sell a lot of other things other than just ice cream. The staff was super knowledgeable and friendly. Just all-around a good place to go if you want to hang out with friends for chill atmosphere.

LOVE Goodies! I grew up going to the Goodies in Bend Oregon and when we moved here in 2018 and I saw that there was one in Boise...I was stoked! Our kids love it here. It's a tradition that we stop at Goodies for milestone celebrations, good report cards, and haircut days. The ice cream is great, the candy is great, the atmosphere is the best, and the staff are all so nice! Perfect place for a cone, some seafoam chocolate (they make the BEST), a shake, or even a gift...they have a great selection of cute stuffed animals and novelty candy.

Very tasty ice cream in a darling soda fountain. Lots of candy and chocolates but the crowning jewel is the homemade ice cream and waffle cones! Love the location, too. Sat outside in the shade and enjoyed the quaint Hyde Park atmosphere.

The service was awesome. We came late at night and got the chocolate almond shake, Carmel popcorn, and a few chocolates. They have an awesome selection and the ice cream was amazing. Would come again next time we are in town.
