This place is awesome! Eclectic, trendy and convenient. They have a pinball machine, local soaps, local coffee, local ice cream, local dog treats, local merch, and sick JD merch as well! Great selection of essential and non essential food and drinks. Large canned alcohol selection!
Lupe the amazing woman who works here saved my life and let me use her charging cord when I was stranded downtown. They have usb outlets! They have a little bench bar to sit at facing downtown!

Convenient and fast. We needed a charger and some snacks and they did not let us down lol. Cashier was also very kind

JD's Bodega ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Located in downtown Boise, JD's is our first and only true bodega. This is a great little neighborhood store for tourists staying at hotels in the downtown core, as well as locals. In addition to carrying all the basic necessities, you can buy cool gifts such as Treefort coffee mugs, a cool tote, and dish towels made by local artists. JD's is the only place in Idaho that carries San Francisco's famous It's It ice cream sandwiches, which has been around since 1928. They carry six flavors. JDs also carries lots of food products that are made in Idaho, the majority of which are from local businesses. Examples of are: sandwiches, salads and breads from Zeppole; meat pies from Kiwi; healthy, single serving meals from Simple Bites Meals; farm fresh eggs from Good Life Farms; a variety of nuts from City Peanut Shop, and ice cream from The Stil. They also carry over 100 carefully selected beers and ciders, and more than 80 wines. If you haven’t visited yet, the only question is, what are you waiting for?

Good location. Hours are often open until 10pm most nights. Warm bathroom. Good supply of product. Nice workers. Easy to find across from city hall/parking garage. Midnight Fri/Sat

This store was and is amazing for my little family. The owner and his vision has really come together as such an asset to everyone who walks through the door. Myself and my family can get what we need when we need it! With amazing service too! Local presents that are Idaho made, Great coffee to go and a quick healthy breakfast. It really is the one stop shop that became my go to. I grab a great bottle of wine or beer when I need it‍ I can't say enough great things about our experience with this business. The store is already becoming an iconic must!

This bodega is a top notch spot to grab a quick snack or full blown groceries for the crib. The staff is really friendly as well, you definitely feel welcomed from the minute you enter. LOVE IT!

This place is exactly what downtown was missing - a convenience store. Great selection of both traditional and healthy snacks/drinks (they have kombucha). Clean/fun vibe. Great mid afternoon snack break.

I am so happy you brought this concept to Boise. I seriously think S. Meridian would benefit from a store, I have a lot of working mommas on board. We don't want to drive across the freeway to Winco after work and picking up the kids for a quick stop! We need a true small convenient grocer out here! I bet it would do well! Just saying :)

We have been there twice today on our tourist trip. We had two different cashiers and both completely friendly and who obviously love their town.

I love the location of this place! I LOVE the staff! And I love the atmosphere! I am so happy this place exists and they usually have everything you need and if they don’t they will most likely order it!

Extremely convenient! Lupe' was able to assist me with purchasing some earbuds that I desperately needed. I was also pleasantly surprised to find JDs had the Orange Creamsicle flavor of Reign.
