We had a pretty serious hail storm pass threw and decided to give colonial a call. We met with Ken. He was extremely professional, friendly, and informative threw out the process. The team that came to do the install was extremely efficient, clean, fast, and professional. When the team left for the day I walked the perimeter of our home. I couldn’t find one piece of trash, or nail. Just amazing! So happy we decided to go with Colonial for this service. 110% satisfied customer here.

People in office were courteous and professional. Due to my job I am in/out of town constantly, with that being said, the project manager was very accommodating with scheduling as I wanted to be present for all of the work being done on my home. From the sales rep to the crew, very respectful and the work looks solid.

I would give them zero stars, but the installers did a nice job. Other than that, I would not use them again, or recommend them to anyone in the Lehigh Valley. If you do use them, I would not give them a deposit. I used Colonial to replace siding on my home in the Lehigh Valley. I gave them a deposit in June of 2020 to coordinate siding installation with installation of new windows I had scheduled for July with a local Anderson dealer. The windows were installed in July. Colonial finally started the Job in November. They had every excuse why they could not start the job until I finally discussed a legal remedy and asked for a return of my deposit. Colonial's installers eventually came up from Virginia to do the work and did a nice job on what they completed. They even painted some trim, which they did not need to do. The installers were very skilled, and really paid close attention to detail. The local representative was very focused on a quality outcome, and even helped the installers clean up and inspect the property for nails. I was impressed. However, they left without completing the gutter installation and window headers. I was told they would return in two weeks. They never returned and left the gutters semi-attached to the house. My guess is that management in Virginia did not have the materials for them to complete the job, or needed to start another job back in Virginia. The gutters then fell off the house in a recent storm and I had to reinstalled them. In February 2021 I was asked for a final check and given credit for the gutters and headers because they couldn't complete the project. My impression is that Colonial may be great in Virginia, but can't really support new business in the Lehigh Valley. I am not sure if Colonial even has an installation team in the Lehigh Valley, even though they market the company as having a location in Center Valley, PA. It's unfortunate, the local representative and the installers did focus on a quality product. However, I feel something is amiss with Colonial's overall business model.

Received a flyer. At best, the address is one of those temporary office spaces. At worst, it's a virtual address for a company with no physical location in the area. Roofing isn't like Amazon, if there is an issue with your roof you can't box it up and return it. You need a reliable, local company to help if you have issues; or do it yourself for one quarter the cost, read the instructions on the pack of shingles, it's not magic.

Thank God I didn’t go through with using them, they came out and figured out everything that needed to be repaired and I submitted to insurance. Once I got the check in the mail, I simply asked them how much the estimate was for the roof repair. They could not and would not give me a quote. They absolutely refuse to tell me how much they were charging for the repair as they said “we will not charge more than the insurance company is willing to pay“ I told them The money is mine to give out, not the insurance company. I attempted multiple times to get them to tell me how much they were charging for the roof and they simply would not. Therefore I found an ACTUAL local company and got the work done by Lehigh Valley roofers, and if I have an issue at least I know they are local and will come back to take care of it. Not a storm chaser that claims to be local. However, before all of this happened I had referred them and Brian Greer (the representative) to some other neighbors, one of the neighbors across the street got their house repaired and of course the referral that they promised me they would not honor. Dirty business by an out-of-state company.
