Allentown Farmers Market

The Allentown Farmers Market has an exceptional number of stores & purveyors of FRESH Seafood, Various Meets, Cheeses, Wine, Vegetables & just about everything else you could possibly desire! There are a multitude of various cultural eateries that will surely suffice any cravings you could manifest. The Fairgrounds also feature scheduled events (both indoor & out) such as: MONSTER TRUCKS, AUTOMANIA, HOME SHOW, & THE ANNUAL FLOWER SHOW to begin... Additionally, every September marks THE GREAT ALLENTOWN FAIR which is an enormous hit for the family, solo traveler, or a group of friends.

This is the most extravagant farmers market on this side of the Mississippi. With 65 vendors and countless international food options This is the farmer's market to visit!

This market have a lot of different store and places to you can choose your vegetables, fruit, flowers, meat, fish,bakery and more totally recommended 🤩

Absolutely amazing! I wish there was something like this in my state. I had heard about this place from podcasts of those who had been to Pinfest. This was my first year attending and checking out the Farmers Market is a must do. So many places to buy great food either to eat right there or fresh meats to cook at home. Just thinking about it makes me hungry.

As always excellent. So many choices. Amish "open air" dinner, diner was really good. New stands: Scotty's shore shack, excellent sea food. Italian stand east end (toward Ritz) near the market. Authentic, very fresh unique products.

It was fun walking around. A great variety of foods from fruits, veggies, meats, baked goods, and more. I got there when it opened at 8 am so it was not to crowded. I love all the amish stands. Oh, when you are there, you need to eat @ Charlie K's Pizza! So, so, good! I took an unbaked pie home. That is supper!

Farmers market is a staple part of the pilgramage to the antique arms show across the street. Over 35 years it has gotten more diverse in ethnic fare ,and the Amish vibe is still there.Something for everyone and worth exploring again and again because you cant sample it all on one or even three trips there.

This was our first visit, and we really enjoyed it, that's Market we have been to in a long time. It's not high-end but everybody is friendly and it's all local owners, you're helping out local businesses.

We just wanted to buy absolutely everything, a couple places had samples but not many. You didn't need samples it was clear out great in fresh everything was.

They did have one vendor that fixed vacuum cleaners, just in case you need one repaired.

Some of the vendors had their own sit down areas so that you could enjoy their fresh food right there and then.

I'm from Lancaster, so I enjoyed seeing so many shops from my hometown here in Allentown! The NY Pickle stand is a MUST visit. So good! Miss Little Korea is another stand that is worth the wait, because the food is amazing. I highly recommend the kimchi fried rice, fried chicken bao buns, and the handmade dumplings. The other food looked great as well, but that is what we ordered for our meal!

Historic farmer's market that features a great selection of produce, meat, seafood, and a gazillion other items. The Vitamin store has a great selection of supplements and Dr. Bronner's soaps at great prices. PLUS they have an international selection of prepared food such a Luan's Vietnamese Bistro and a stand with Polish delicacies. Try it!

This place is so neat. I would love to fresh produce and food available to me all the time. Got to pet a cute dog, too. I also got to take some homemade pierogies home too.

There are so very few places like this left in America! There's really something for everyone here - from bakeries, pizza, med food, to 100% raw dog food. Check out the pretzels. Watch yours being tied by hand before it's baked. Doesn't get any fresher.

Best (IMO) are the local independent butchers, poultry growers, cheese makers - throwback to another era before food became "big food'. Many great bakeries and places to eat.

But there's more. Across the drive there are exhibit halls with all kinds of regularly scheduled events. The day we were here they had an antique toy show in one and a live lizard and reptile exhibit in another.

You can really make a day of it here, and come away with some great fresh meats, poultry, cheese, and produce

I get emotional thinking of this place. My grandmother lived on Chew street. And it was always tradition to go to the farmer’s market. I went by there last year and it hasn’t changed one bit. I love everything about it.

Honestly this could be a reason to move to Allentown by itself. Full of so many different types of flavors and different types of shops you don't know where to go first. I come here for the pinball but I stay for the farmers market. Make it a point to visit every time you are near.

Very good place to go for just about everything and anything. Ample parking and very big.

Really great farmers market. It's indoors and has a ton of vendors! They have produce, ready to eat food, tons of pastry shops,fresh chicken and beef, pre-prepared ready to cook items, and even speciality food like polish, German, Mediterranean, and Mexican. They have restaurants like a BBQ, sandwhiches, American food, Korean, vietnamese ( FYI they only take cash), pizza, pretzels ( amazing), and more. They even sell some furniture, wine, and dog treats. You're guaranteed to find something you'll like. This place is like the gem of allentown. I know people come from all over for this Market. I just wish it was open all week!
