Boise Co-op Wine Shop

I stopped in to this location while visiting Boise, Idaho. To my surprise, I did not have any idea that I would’ve bought potato bread from the baker Acme, which was absolutely delicious..We also bought some baked goods from a company called Wildflower, the cookies were amazing!

Went here to find a Cab Franc and a Petit Verdot after searching all over the Treasure Valley without much success. To our surprise we were shown a minimum of 8 different Cab Francs and several Petit Verdot. We ended up with six bottles in order to get 10% off and the total was just over 60.00. We will definitely go back. I added a picture of three wines. Two cab franc and the middle is a petit verdot. Thanks Co-op. Update. Cab franc was great but petit verdot is too fruity.

Seems like a good selection in a great location! I liked their entire row of Idaho wines. My parents complained that their wines were a little more expensive than grocery stores, but I don't think a few dollars on a $30 bottle of wine is amiss for a more convenient location and good selection.

Let’s face it one can purchase wine at any supermarket here in Boise and generally their selection is pretty ho-hum and good luck getting someone knowledgeable about about the wine, food pairing, recommendations, etc. The Co-op Wine Store is certainly not a supermarket, it is a wine specialty store but without any of the wine snobbery that all too often specialty wine stores can legitimately be accused of. Their selection is not your typical supermarket variety, it is more the "wide open, free-range" variety and virtually every member of their sales staff is truly knowledgeable and friendly, sans attitude. Their discount on 1/2 and full cases is generous.
If you are not familiar with the Boise Co-op Wine Store and enjoy good wines you owe it to yourself to check it out.
After 7 years of living in Boise, if I had to pick "Boise’s best place for wine”, it would certainly be the Boise Co-op Wine Store.

I can't tell you how much I loved my experience in the store today! The gentlemen working were so helpful and sent me home with the most delicious wine! Bruce was even able to identify a wine I vaguely remembered the label of!

I've always loved everything about the Co-op in general. We did the wine flight sampler. Everyone was so helpful in educating us about what to look for in each drink. Couldn't have asked for better service. Will be coming back for more.

Whether you are a connoisseur or just an occasional drinker of wine this place has a great selection and the staff is always helpful and kind. I maybe buy a bottle or 2 a year but I always come here for their service and selection.

The staff is really friendly and they know their wine, very knowledgeable, the wine tasting bar is coming together and will be opening soon, if you love wine plan on coming in and checking it out you won't be disappointed.

I always enjoy perusing the shelves at the wineshop, it's wonderland for grown-ups! I know I can talk to any of the friendly and knowledgeable staff and receive excellent recommendations.

This place is awesome. I went in for the beer selection, which was top notch. Grocery portion looked awesome with some really good produce and some prepared foods.

The staff was extremely helpful! Go in knowing kind of what you want and come out with the perfect bottle (or six for a discount! 😊)
