Travel back in time before Lowes and Home Depot were even a thing. This incredible small home town hardware store has been around since 1960, and for good reason.

From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by friendly, knowledgable sales associates that can answer questions and quickly get you to the things you came for.

When was the last time a employee chased you down at one of the super stores? Exactly...

Also if you are disabled, or have limited mobility, this place is not so large, that you regret even going inside. It is packed with everything you need!

And once you are ready to pay, the cashier is the icing on the cake. Not only friendly, but happy to ask how your day is going. Then with a cheerful goodbye, you feel appreciated as a customer.

Forget the mega stores, spend your money at a locally owned and one of a kind store, that actually cares more about you, than your money.

You know why I always keep coming back. Their employees have always been to notch. They are attentive and always service with a smile. They will lead you right to where you need to go and hand ouch your items. I love coming here and highly recommend for all your fixing repairing needs.

Good place to get a extra copy made for your vehicle they always cut the key perfect never had a problem.

I took a key to b copied Louie did a great job we did one key it works great gonna go back and get the 2 others my neighbor wanted!! Give'm a try you'll be happy you did!?!

Best service oriented hardware store with every thing you need and acknowledge staff

This store came highly recommended to me. I am a 73 year old woman, who knows next to nothing about building projects, but Hayden's always has someone standing inside the door to welcome you and give you all the assistance you could ever need to find what you might be looking for and the "how to" advice I desperately needed. Thank you, guys, you are awesome!!!!!

Always come here to get off brand stuff you can't find at other places. They got a good nuts and bolts selection check them out. Very friendly and helpful!

Hayden's is my default store for most things hardware....I'm an apartment maintenance manager and they usually have it or will order it. Their guys are waiting at the front door for me to walk in. Rare I spend in excess of 10 min...and every one parks within 10 yards of the door. Everyone can do everyone else's job description. Recommended

They are Family valued their which brings a higher connection. Brings you closer to understanding that we all matter. Good folks. Always up for a challenge with new ideas!

Went this am, was greeted politely, gave the worker my list that handyman who was going to do improvements gave me. Worker retrieved items for me and was done in 10 minutes, compared to other chain store last night: took 10 minutes to find someone to help, then he just gave me aisle numbers and that's about it. I have no experience in finding these items for repairing my home, so I was looking at so many similar items in the aisles; I finally walked out with nothing bought. Frustrating situation since I care for my dad and had to leave him for all that time. Haydens ALWAYS from now on!!

They may be a small shop, but they have everything. Service is amazing. The folks they have working there know what they are talking about as well. I walked in a little timid one time because i was doing a project that might have been a little over my head... they set me up with the tools, parts, and advice to get the job done. Another time, I knew what I needed and they left me alone. Perfect balance.

Beyond that, prices are pretty competitive.

A friend of mine recommended Haydens to me. Went there the first time and they immediately secured my business for the rest of my time in LC. Every single person in that shop is smart as heck, but are still welcoming.

I could go on... I will never run out of good things to say about that place.

They carry stuff you can't buy anywhere else. Amazing selection, and all the employees are knowledgeable and professional. The best!

Favorite Las Cruces Hardware Store. If you tried the large stores Home Depot/ Lowes and didn’t find what you need , Hayden’s will have it. Not only do they have several items not available at large stores they have the BEST Customer Service.

Great customer service, better people yet. Went in the store looking for a cleanout wrench for a drain plug but they did not have it in stock. Mr Pete was super helpful in crafting the tool I needed out of a square nut and bolt, very ingenious if you ask me. Highly recommend this store!!

I choose Hayden's over any of the bigger stores anytime I possibly can. They are always waiting at the door to take you to whatever you are looking for. Then help you get it to the register and even load it into your vehicle. Very relaxed atmosphere and helpful employees. I highly recommend Hayden's for any of your home or business repair needs.
