Lots of variety. Found what I was looking for. Parking was easy for a Saturday. Oh, nice staff and movie selection too. Revisited in a Sunday, blown away by their selection and awesome staff. Friendly, knowledge and enthusiastic. Forgot my keys at the counter due to distraction (music, bright shiny things and great coffee)...came back 30 mins later after panicking at my car...found the excellent staff had pulled them aside, safely, knowing I would return. Thank you!!!

They're the Boise record GOAT, you need vinyl around here you come here, it's not even close to the only place but they definitely have the best selection of new vinyl, their clothes and venue posters are pretty fun too and you can find some great stuff if you dig around a bit. They also sell turntables and needles at fair prices.

There is a fantastic vinyl selection. There is always more things I want to get than I have money for! My husband and I love coming in here and just perusing all the vinyls. The staff is knowledge, friendly, and helpful as well! I love coming here.

A great place to go whether you've got a bunch of cash to drop on vinyl or less than $10. Fun gifts and cards too, and the employees are so friendly.

Any music lover will enjoy this store; staff has top notch knowledge for any genre of music every time we visit. I was looking for a particular vinyl record that was hard to find for a gift and they tracked it down for me and ordered it fast, so grateful! Friendly and authentic atmosphere.

Love this store. So much great music to browse and the staff is always really friendly. It's one of the places I go and spend a little time when I need to get away from my desk at work on my lunch break.

I'm such a Rookie when it comes to vinyl and that's okay. You have to start somewhere. TRE is the best place to get started. Friendly/knowledgeable staff, great selection, and peace of mind that you are supporting a local business that has such a history in downtown Boise. Do it I double- dog dare you !!

Best vinyl shop around! Found a rare album for less than half the going cost online. Great staff as well. Every visit to Boise includes a stop and shop here! Make sure you take time to look around and find "waldo".

This is an amazing selection! They have old and new, undercover artists, too. It’s insane. Was pretty excited to find some Tate McRae.

The Record Exchange is thee place in Boise to find vinyl, CDs, cassettes, and even some laser discs. What I like is not only can I get albums I want but they also have grab bags of random CDs, vinyl or various movies, and I have expanded my music library by getting these grab bags. Definitely worth checking out, and with record stores disappearing there are not many alternatives to this place in the area.

Basically it is a musical store with new and used Vinyls, CDs etc.

It also has tons of collections like band T-shirts, it's original T-shirts.

Staffs are very knowledgeable and helpful. They often open new CDs for sample listens for us.

Besides that, paraphernalia, new excellent selections of DVDs.
Furthermore, stationeries, Jewelries
, clothes, Cosmetics, insents etc.

That's not enough! They do have a coffee shop and snack bar!

Downtown Boise isn't usually so crowded, so street parking is almost always available.

We used to go to this store every weekend when we lived in Boise.

We still hit this store everytime when we visit Boise.

Amazing selection of music on various formats, cassettes, records, cds. New and used. I go in once a month, never disappointed! Today got a killer deal on a original Beatles 1969 record, one year label pressing❤ my first one ever, since I started buying Beatles records in 1976 😁

GOOD PEOPLE, GOOD MUSIC, it’s an absolute blast to be here. one of my favorite spots in downtown boise. i always end up spending too much money here hahaha
