Cool little theater. They play a mix of well-known movies and underrated indi stuff. You can watch a movie with a beer and a burger...need I say more? Don't forget to try the chocolate chip cookies 🍪

It's such a fun, intimate, movie theater!! Loved coming here as a child and as an adult as well. Next time I'll get food here it looks great!! Movie prices were good and nice you can get a beer if you like as well. Or even if you need to rent a movie, they do that as well!

Always a great place to watch some foreign or independent films. Delicious popcorn and beer and wine served and allowed inside. Decent American food. A patio area for the warmer months. Parking can be an issue during busy weekends.

Best theater experience!! Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is really great. Smaller theatres are great. The patio is a sanctuary in the middle of downtown.
Food, beer and nice wine selection to take into the film!! Love the films that they show...just different and interesting. Go!

Probably a best kept secret in Boise. Hidden behind one of the nicest hotels (the 500) is an old theater. Because it's tied to the hotel, you get their food to eat during the show. My husband had a chicken and brie sandwich and I had a lovely cobb salad. We both had delicious wine and took it to our seats.
We saw It Ain't Over (a year gerker about Yogi Berra) in a very small theater.
Such a lovely evening!

I always enjoy going to the Flicks. They show the best international and independent movies anywhere in Boise. The staff people are friendly and helpful and make you feel welcome. The food is good and you can get real butter on your popcorn. They also serve beer and wine, along with all the standard movie treats.

Such a great cinema with a video rental area attached. Having never been here, we were a little worried that the screen and the theatre would be a bit small but theatre 1 is a great size for watching any type of movie.

This theater is a gem for the city of Boise. Hidden away near Boise downtown it is one of the last traditional style theaters in Boise complete with Video rental section as well. Forget Blockbuster this locally owned sensational cinema center is a unique and cozy place to catch a film, grab a bite to eat, or hunt down a movie to watch at home old school. Known best for international films it really offers a different experience for those who seek a world outside of your typical blockbuster.

I love going to The Flicks! It is easy to miss this charming, local theater because it is behind a large hotel, but it is well-sized with three theaters to watch in. An awesome snack bar in the lobby features real meals, buttery popcorn, and alcohol to purchase with a small dining area. There is a great selection of recently released films for a reasonable ticket price! I also love that there often aren't huge crowds and it isn't hard to find a parking spot. Definitely a Boise favorite for this resident!

Fun, small town feel. Good food, homey atmosphere. This should be considered a Boise place of interest that everyone should experience. Friendly staff help to give it that small town feel.

It's always good to come to the Flicks. Today we saw Where The Crawdads Sing. You just can't get movies of this caliber in mainstream theaters. Nor can you order alcoholic beverages and take them in to the auditorium anywhere in town but at the Flicks. If you're looking for a comfortable ambiance and great movies at lower cost than franchise theaters, this is your place.

Loved the feel! It's a fairly small but homey place, with a loaded DVD rental library. The snacks, meals, and drinks all looked and sounded divine. The theatre's size made for a more intimate, fun atmosphere and I'm definitely already looking forward to my next visit.

Super clean and safe experience. Great movies you can't see at the bigger theaters, indie and foreign and award winning. Bring food and drink (lattes, beer, wine, etc) into theater.

They have a new upgraded air filtration system throughout and in all theaters. Each seat is numbered that you choose ahead of time, with every other row empty.

Consistent service and food every time. Long time, super friendly staff with excellent cooks.

You can still eat out on their beautiful garden patio with heaters (that work!) and heavy plastic drapes to keep heat in. Or bring food and drink into the theater on a tray.

Really great food! My favorite is the house salad, but also great upscale appetizers, soups, chicken sandwiches and burgers (garden & beyond too).
