Salon 944

I LOVE this salon- it is beautifully decorated, the staff are all so nice and helpful. I moved to the area recently and decided to try this place from the google reviews I read, and the location which is quite close to my home. I have been three times now and my stylist is Audrey. I had very, very, long hair, which had begun to gray and I wanted to slowly transition to a shorter cut and have my grays blended in. Audrey is simply amazing- she knew exactly what to do and helped me to get my hair where I wanted it. She is so very kind and I’m so grateful I decided on Salon 944 and Audrey!!!! They also have a great website with online appointment scheduling that is very easy to use and super convenient. I would highly recommend this salon- 5 stars!! ⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The salon is always very clean and tidy, the staff is very friendly and provide great services at a reasonable price.

Audrey got me in way early and patiently worked with me to really understand the look I was going for and then she made it happen! She was very helpful offering tips on styles and made sure I was completely happy before letting me go. I just moved here and wasn’t sure where to go, but I will definitely be coming back for all my future cuts and styles. Beautiful view too. Highly recommend.

I am so happy that I found this charming gem of a place which is decorated with antiques like hand mirrors, curling irons, etc. You can see they take pride in what they have built in to this business which is more than "ok, thanks and then say.. Next", if you know what I am trying to say. To me they also have a lighthearted atmosphere going on there which is a must for me, I feel welcomed there when I walk through the door. This salon offers a lot of services there which are too numerous for me to go in to so please be sure to check out their web page. Everyone I have seen leave there look great and everyone that leaves there, you can tell they are pleased. I have left other salons looking down as I walk out to my car, feeling very self conscious of the bad cut I just got or if I got a cut that I didn't ask for and I never did that here. I didn't realize until recently that they even do massages, THREE different kinds. I could go on but you really need to make an appointment and check it out for yourself. They do have handicapped parking spaces and an outside elevator right where those parking spaces are to access in to the side door, so don't be intimidated by the steps out front. Everything was well thought out for the comfort and convenience of all their clients, women, men and kids....with everything they offer there, it's like a one stop shop. No need to run around to different places to get pampered!

I love the great haircuts that Leah Gruber gives me. I love how everyone gets along and has fun while they work. The place is so clean and full of hair products. Been going there for quite a few years now. Prices are very affordable.

The best! I've been going to the owner for hair cuts, and now color, for over 35 years. Its a fun, relaxing place!

The staff is absolutely amazing and always cares about each and every single client that steps into the house. It's a cute little shop and it's very welcoming. The hairdressers are amazing and so nice to form a friendship with. Great place. Good pricing.

Went here with my sisters and mother to help our mom, who has breast cancer, pick out a wig after she lost her hair. The staff was so helpful and nice. The girl helping my mom was upbeat and made everyone feel comfortable. She turned a potentially emotional trip into lots of laughter. I will be forever grateful.

I visited about 3 weeks ago and was very pleased that my favorite salon was following all CDC guidelines. I sat on the beautiful front porch as instructed until I was greeted and taken inside to be temp checked. I was asked how I was feeling. I wore my mask as I do anytime I am in public and so did my stylist. With the exception of my stylist I was kept the appropriate distance from others with the option of being outside of I chose. The areas I was in were very clean. I felt very confident that my trusted salon staff are sanitizing per CDC guidelines. I will most certainly be back next Monday as scheduled.

I came here to get my hair cut for the first time in 2 years. After having so many bad experiences with different hairdressers, I was too scared to let anyone cut my hair for the longest time. The ladies there were very understanding and did an amazing job with my hair! I got it trimmed, layered, and highlighted and was very happy with all of it! I will absolutely be coming back and I'd definitely recommend them to anyone.

In need of a haircut and a new stylist, so tried Salon 944 because they could get me in sooner than later. Rita had my hairstyle done in no time and it looks awesome AND it was reasonably priced. Shop is so cute, clean and friendly, I cannot wait to make my next appointment!!

All I can say is OMG. One of the best service I had I a while. Friendly staff, Audrey was my hair dresser and she was so nice. On top of everything cost my way,way less than I used to pay my old hair dresser. Highly recommend. Love it, nice clean place and again amazing place.

I've been going there to get my hair cut for years and never once received anything but a great cut. The staff are friendly, skilled and fast. Reasonable prices. I wouldn't get my hair cut any where else!

Great salon! The ladies at Salon 944 do a great job. They are reasonably priced compared to most salons in the area. Both me and my kids go to Salon 944. I love the fact you can appointments on line. So much easier. I highly recommend Mickey! She is always on time which is really appreciated!

So this may be long but its worth reading... So my newly 4 year old daughter(her B-Day was 2 days prior to this event) had a hair stylist dream and decided to practice on herself. It was bad like real bad... anyhow a few of the folks here came together then called their manager on a video call to come up with a plan. Several of them said it was the worst self cut they had ever seen. They talked with her calmed her down and She came out with a very cute(I think the lady called it asymetrical) Tinkerbell kinda cut. I was lost I mean I cut my hair with a flobi. Then after they got her back to looking like a cute little girl they refused payment. Spoke with her about not cutting her own hair and showed them the licenses in the office and made a point ti helo aid in this never happening again. Please note: they did this for a guy and his daughter they had never met I called a female relative for guidance on where to take her. We are not regulars we had never been here before but after the way they took care of my little girl I am certain they earned our kids as clients going forward ... and I may even hang up the flobi. WOULD RECOMMEND☆☆☆☆☆ wait can I do 6 Stars? Nope but would if google let me!

Audrey was just wonderful! She was kind and caring and considerate. She trimmed my hair and it looks beautiful. I will definitely be back.

This is where I get my hair cut, and the girls that own this place have done an excellent job of renovating and converting an older home on Rt. 944 into a first class salon. The owners are fun, down to earth people and I actually look forward to getting my hair cut there every month. Well done.

Very clean and comfortable salon with personable staff. Lauren made my hair beautiful, and their prices are very affordable. Overall it was an excellent experience and I will be returning.
