Coe Memorial Park

Small but very pretty, well-maintained park. No playground. Nice view of flowers and fountain. Plenty of benches with cool shade of trees to sit back and relax. It’s located across a shopping plaza. Limited parking space or free street parking available.

Coe park has gone through a few changes over the many years,but still remains an active central park in downtown Torrington ..
This past Tuesday evening, I visited to attend a live outdoor concert,part of the Summer concert series ..
There was a decent crowd,the park was clean and there was a police patrol,the overall experience was good.
Like a lot of things in our small town,Coe Park gets a "bad rap" from a few bad apples,or an unfortunate event over the years .
Kudos to all who take such good care of this park,and put out the effort to make it a great impression on those traveling through our fair city .

Coe Park is beautiful. There is a magnificent fountain in the center, with benches nearby, that provides a lovely place to sit and read a book. Whoever is responsible for the flowers should win an award, they are incredible and make the park stand out. It's a nice little haven in the center of the city.

Very clean and well maintained. Lush full flower beds and green grass! Waterfall adds a unique and cool touch on hot days. Very cool theater for outdoor concerts.

They have a great concerts in the park during summer. Plus it's a nice place to relax even though it's no playground for kids.

Best place to go play pokemon and get shinies! The flowers are absolutely gorgeous too. People there are a little special but they keep to themselves.

Beautifully maintained city with pretty gardens nearly year round. Nice place to sit and talk on benches or meander around looking at the pretty seasonal gardens..

The Mayor cares enough about this park to plant flowers...
Just act like you do not see the benchers or say hello your choice...
And stay out of the back of buildings because you might find a body🤷🏻‍♀✔

TO EVENING TIME WHERE THE CIVIC CENTER at COE MEMORIAL PARK HAS FREE CONCERTS for the PEOPLE OF AND SURROUNDING TOWNS DURING THE WEEK AND IN THE WEEKENDS.. From PLAYING CATCH WITH A MITT AND BALL TO FRISBEE PLAYING.. FROM HOOLAHOOPING TO FINGER PAINTING SITTING IN THE LUSH GREEN GRASS.. TO JUST BEING CONTENT READING A BOOK WHILE STRETCHED OUT ON A BLANKET ON THE GREEN LUSH GRASS COE PARK IS TORRINGTONS'S HAPPENING PARK!! You can also tell when SPRINGTIME IS AROUND THE CORNER WHEN THE BEAUTIFUL 2000 + (plus) FLOWER BULBS ARE POPPING THROUGH THE MULCH LINED WALKS LINEA MAZE!!
