The Stop and Shop on High Street in Torrington, Bakery and Floral team went out of their way for me today! A huge thank you to Tofi, and a few other wonderful people in the Bake Shop, for all of your kindness and assistance this morning. I live out of state (MA) and with today's world it can be so hard to meet in the middle when it comes to planning out of state events! Great customer service and willingness to go above and beyond and thanks to you all, my daughter's Baby Shower will be all that much more enjoyable.

After searching through ALL of the grocery stores in Torrington I came up in Dustin in this store. He went out of his way and looked for pumpkin pie for me! I have NEVER gone without pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving and have no family here. I was upset that I wouldn't have pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving. Thank you Dustin for completing my Thanksgiving and making sure I had my pumpkin pie! This means the world to me!

Jess in Self Check and Jess in Customer Service are both very friendly, efficient, and funny! They helped me during my recent shopping trip for a birthday breakfast, which had me in a spin! Jess in Customer Service is always there, every week, when I get my money order..she has a smile (even behind the mask) and a great attitude! Jess in Self Check has a great attitude as well, and was very efficient, kind, and made me laugh!

Wow, I was not surprised by the level of cleanliness of stop n shop they usually do maintain.
It was the aggressive cleaning of carts and baskets.
TY for going the extra mile.
While most stores put multiple sanitizing boxes and hope that customers clean.
Stop And Shop went proactive during Covid-19!¡!

Very clean parking lot and store. There is enough people working to ask any questions. Nice courteous desk associates. Thank you for making my shopping experience easier after a long day at work!

Kirk in the bakery is wonderful, I came in asking for a birthday message to be put on my cake and he told me to put the cake back and brought out a fresh one from the back with no cracks on top. Not only that, but his calligraphy was gorgeous. I highly reccomend asking for Kirk if you need anything bakery related.

Living in Thomaston makes us have to travel for Stop & Shop items we need weekly. When I got home last night and realized I left a bag behind, I called the store and being very disappointed I was missing items to make our dinner, Cheryl, the manager on that day had someone not only bring me the items, but sent flowers as well! I think this is the very best customer service I've ever received in any supermarket. It made out night and looking at these flowers today brings a heartfelt smile as a remembrance. Thank you Cheryl!!

Great place to shop the employees are nice there's a huge selection of food,the employees are very nice and they have wiped to clean your cart as soon as you walk in the door

We were able to get in get what we needed and get out just as fast. And with nice deals and affordable prices 10/10

I left my purchases in the cart, because I came across several people without masks, and the employees saw them and as if nothing happened. This means that the store is not taking seriously the recommendations for Covid

This stop and shop is in a very convenient location, most of the staff is friendly, helpful and they have (IMO) quality food and meats.

It's a great place but how many times are you going to ask me to rate this place it seems like you're doing so every time I even drive by
