Lake Compounce Amusement & Water Park

Love this place. Had to get a season past after going a couple of times. The benefit is worth it. New years eve was a blast for the kids. Look forward to lots of fun in the summer time with the family. Thank you for being in business for connecticut.

If you can get tickets at a discounted price, I would highly recommend them. If you have to pay full price, then I don't think it is worth the price. Lots of rides are closed down each time we go. $30-$40 for parking, and the whole park is cashless. Staff is always friendly.

We always have a great time. I wish they stayed open a little later during the week, time always goes by so fast and the lines are so long in the water park, so it feels like we don't get to do everything. We will be back on the weekend and maybe get to enjoy a concert. We took a ride on the train that takes you around the lake. The wave pool was really fun and it runs every hour for about 15 minutes. You want to get here early if you want to enjoy the water park and get a seat. You can also rent cabanas and private areas for big families.

A great family park. Good selection of flat rides with 2 standout roller coasters. Boulder Dash is a world-class wooden coaster... It's absolutely fantastic. Phobia Phear Coaster is a super cool multi-launch coaster with some dizzying inversions. Very unique! Ride staff are super nice and friendly. Not a destination park, but if you're in the area it's worth stopping by. The park's history is a nice touch.

My aunt used to bring me here when I was younger. It has delicious food and drinks and fun rides! I love the waterpark place with the bucket thingy that dumps it onto people.

We had so much fun! The park is well structured, of course, lines are huge on weekends. The lazy river is so good, specially the slide. I loved the pineapple and raspberry twirl from dole.
If you have a stroller and someone will stay close to the stroller, you don’t need to pay $25 for a locker. Parking is also $30 for the day. (Same price as Disney, thought it was little pricy for CT, anyway)

Overall we had a great time, a very hot July summer day. We got a good deal $30 per person, I think it was because of the 4th of July deal.. I can’t remember.

The history of this park is unbelievable and that rich history still shows through today. They are always adding new and exciting rides, many of which have become world famous and are rated in the top 10 roller coaster record books. The park is clean and the people working are nice, friendly and extremely professional. In addition to having and outstanding theme park they also have an incredible water park, with thrill rides, lazy rivers and even a lake to swim in. Recently they also added a camping area which is very popular. They also put on a great fireworks display during the 4th of July celebrations. Great adventure awaits in this historic yet modern treasure.

Great theme park for the family in Connecticut. The staff do a wonderful job. The rain came down and we were offered a voucher to come back another day. Great value. Even in the rain it was a super enjoyable day.

First time going. We had a blast. Going again my granddaughter and niece had a blast. So did we.

I went to Lake Compounce with my Grandma during my 2 week vacation in Connecticut and I had a lot of fun, I rode a couple water slides and rode some roller coasters and and various rides.
I also had a Dunkin Donuts Drink and Cotton Candy Dippin Dots Ice Cream and they were delicious and the People I met at Lake Compounce were great. 5/5 Experience.
Only Negative I encountered was there was bees swarming in the trash cans and the soda area & I saw a bee trap in one of the soda machine areas. But it’s no big deal since I moved on from it.

They don't have as many rides as 6flags but what they do have is way better. More Intense fun rides. Could use an app or better info on the website concerning passes and what exactly is included and when.

Will say the price of admission is steep for a park this size (even with the small discount of purchasing online as opposed to at the park), however if you are a coaster enthusiast it is worth visiting just for Boulder Dash and a few rides on Phobia, as well as good for a day out if you live anywhere near here. Would visit again and would recommend, just be ready to spend more money than a typical park of this size.

What a great Amusement park. It’s got such a great classic feel mixed with great new rides. Tons of great places to get food. This park has water rides so bring a bathing suit but also has enough regular rides where you can have a great time even without one. This is the oldest amusement park in the US and it really has an old timer feel. This park also has rides for people of all ages. It also has wooden roller coasters that are not the best option for people with bad backs, so be cautious. Lake Compounce is especially beautiful in the Fall. With New England’s famous Fall Foliage and during Halloween time in particular there are extra fun events. The views from the park are also breathtaking. Lake Compounce itself is gorgeous and the wooded area surrounding the park are beautifully well

I had such a terrific weekend. All rides and wet area was working. No malfunctioning of rides. Very clean park. I have nothing bad to say. Can’t wait to go back. There is something to do for all ages of our family (including adults). Plus, I need to get some more fried dough lol. 5 star amusement park rating from me.

Visited on Saturday, and we had a lot of fun. There weren’t too many people so we didn’t have to wait in lines. The park is also decorated for Halloween, and there are trick or treat, pumpkin patch, and hay maze available.

Been going for years and always a good time. Its best to buy season passes the year before around black Friday. Definitely a little tough being middle aged (30) with no kids (and no interest in them) since it seems to be mostly young and old, but certain days in the week and early/late in the season there are good quiet days. The Haunted Graveyard time of year is the best! Nothing like going on a coaster on a cool dark night 👍👍

The fact that they are giving out the bronze Season pass with a single general admission ticket is an absolute steal! Well earned 5 stars! The food is good, the amusement park in general is clean and organized. Please, don't take this direction since it will take you to the employee parking lot. Search for "Lake Compounce parking" instead.
