Price Rite Marketplace of Torrington

Good basic foods at great prices. I shop there for box and canned goods. Also meat prices are very reasonable!

Vastly improved from its previous self. Many options, decent produce. Easy to navigate layout. Self checkout options.

This store has very odd shopping carts that require you to deposit a physical quarter into the cart to "unlock" them. The quarter is returned to you when the cart is returned.

Good prices on vegetables, no good meat for some reason it goes bad very quick. Other than that good place to shop.

Name brand items at discount prices. The Meat, Chicken, Pork, and Fish always priced lower than what I expected. The produce department prices are a lot less than the other grocery stores in Torrington. Many times I walk out of the store with at least four bags of groceries and I only spent mo more than $35 to $40 a week !!!!! 5 Star customer service.

I love to shop at Price Rite especially for produce. They always have a great variety to choose from. The employees go out of their way to help you find what you need. The cashier s are usually very courteous and friendly.

It's a grocery store, you buy food at it, what else can you say? It is pretty clean though and the prices are on the better side of a strict budget. Has a old era vibe to it despite being modernized aesthetically

Great selection and very reasonable prices. Downside is you should bring bags. There's a charge that encourages to bring your own. You're not really borrowing if you aren't then go for the boxes and allow that if someone else had packed it that you should again. Works out most every time in season! I'll check in but.......

They recently remodeled this store. It's so much better. Everything is orderly and neat, good selection of items, especially ethnic food items you can't find in an average food store. And by golly, it is impossible to beat their prices.

My favorite place for food shopping. Reasonable and it just got a face lift which looks great. My cashier Saida was awesome and friendly. Thank you very much for making my usually boring trip to the,super market a pleasant one.

Better prices than bigger grocery store close to me, but the drive is worth it. Friendly staff.

Great prices for anyone's budget, wonderful array of produce selections. It would be great if they sold things like organic Quinoa and different teas such as chai and other flavors. Unable to get raw honey there, go to Aldi's for that. Stores like this are typically geared to low income but that doesn't mean organic and healthy items shouldn't be sold. On the whole it is a much better looking store with courteous and friendly staff.

They have changed the way they present thier food ..so neat and amazingly perfect..the service is beyond words...everyone is so nice ...helpful and go beyond to help...smiles...such a happy place to shop...prices are amazingly low....the manger is always on the floor... friendly and so helpful Everytime I go there my shopping experience is A+.Thank you Price Rite of Torrington CT

Absolutely love the additional self service registers at this store. So much easier to check out if you have just a few things to pick up. Highly recommend!!! 😁👍

Found everything I wanted. Good prices. Works with the Ibotta app so I save even more money. While I was there today at the checkout I needed something and one of the ladies who works there was kind enough to get it for me so I didn't have to leave the line. Friendly with great customer service.

Almost always am able to take advantage of the deals. Produce always better here than Aldi because you can pick your own and not have to buy a package

Love this place! They have a great selection of ethnic products that you usually wouldn't find in a stop and shop or Aldi's. The staff is definitely better than the Aldi's further down the street.

Price Rite is pretty great. Used to shop them, but started going to Aldi. Aldi is okay, but produce is better (and much bigger selection) at Price Rite, as is selection and availability of larger quantities (like a half-gallon of olive oil, or 20 lbs of basmati rice). Price Rite also has more vegetarian/vegan items than Aldi. And Aldi is frequently out of stock on things. So I'm back to shopping Price Rite regularly, and Aldi rarely.
