Always such a great experience shopping at Lowe's! An employee Al helped us last night and went above and beyond to not only show us the products we needed but gave some great advice as well.

Vast like an airport! You can construct a whole house with everything sold under this roof, down to the smallest details. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Power tools, snowblowers, potted trees and even Christmas lights. No detectable wi-fi, unfortunately. Self check-out is available, and parking is ample in Torrington Parkade, out front.

Love this Lowe’s Home Improvement because of how big, organized, and clean it is when compared to other Lowe’s or even Home Depot for that matter. Does it have low inventory on some common items like spray paint? Yep, but who doesn’t right now. P.S. ALL the plants were heathy! That alone is worth 5 Stars!

The last 2 times we’ve gone to this Lowes we’ve been helped by one of the employees, Roy! He is wonderful , thorough , and patient. He is willing to help and give advice on any home project you are working on! Vote Roy for Employee of the Month!!!

Brendon, at the Pro Desk, went above and beyond to help me with an order that was created wrong by the Lowes app. He took extra time to resolve the issues and called back as promised.

Clean and Bright with Free WiFi and bathroom are very clean infront of the store and if they dont have a item the other orange store is not that far away as i make this place my first stop and pick up a pizza at Big Y next door...great pirce... October 1st and Christmas is in full swing. Check this store for them clearancing out tiles. It's random when they go on clearance but if you could buy a head of your project you'll save a bundle.

I ordered a washing machine online from Lowes the other day with memories in my mind of four years ago when it took five hours for them to bring my order to the service desk. (Yes, I’m a patient person.) This time, I used the app after I realized with the app I can warn them I am coming and they can track me driving to the store. I showed up at the service desk and the representative went about scanning the bar code on my phone to find the order. He went to the back to find the order the disappeared to what I realized later was to get a cart and additional help. The help he found brought the machine out to the truck and then realized I had a brace on one hand. He said to me in a very caring tone that he didn’t want me to lift the crate with him so he sent a text for help. When no help arrived he apologized and went to find the help he needed. He came back with a young lady that seemed to be from the next level up. She apologized for the delay and called for more help. In the meantime there was a young man collecting carts but he seemed to be disabled (probably like me with my wrist) who came over and wanted to help but the original loader said in a very compassionate way that we should wait for other help. Another fellow showed up loaded the washer and I was on my way.
I was so impressed with this young group, their commination skills and compassion for each other and for me. They were an awesome team. I live 30 minutes from this Lowes and 5 minutes from their competitor. The extra 50 minutes round trip is so worth it to support this incredible group of teens

A well-organized store that has items which are out of stock in Hartford County.

Our go to place when we need things to fix the home. Staff is very knowledgeable and gave several alternatives to tools, which we appreciate. Will go again

I have been shopping at this location since purchasing my home in 2017. On this particular occasion I was researching stackable washer/dryer units for my 700sq apartment above my garage. I had recently received a Birthday Deal from Home Depot and wanted to compare to Lowes. While browsing the appliance dept...Mr. Gonzales approached with a warm greeting, friendly smile and after introducing himself...offered his help to me. I was not 100% sure at that time what I wanted; so he made me promise to return before buying from the competition. I did about a week later. He remembered me, our discussion and promised to offer a competitive deal to keep my purchase at Lowes. Stephen stepped in to authorize the deal and Lowes got my $1,700.00 purchase. It was such a refreshing and enjoyable transaction! Both of these employees (Brian Gonzalez & Stephen Dubreuil) deserve recognition for excellent customer service! This level of customer service has been sorely missed in the past several years and is lacking in many companies today. Thank you Lowes for keeping the standard high! The store was Relatively empty. I stopped by customer service to ask where I could find what I was looking for and the young lady was very nice and friendly. She was off by one aisle when she directed me where to go (no big deal). I located an associate and not only did he take me to the correct aisle, but he helped me pick out the best sized item for my needs. He was very cordial and helpful. I was in and out in ten minutes. If I were left to my own devices, you would have had to send in a search and rescue team! Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Lowes is good It's close to my house so it's extremely convenient.
The only thing is the check out area is small the should put more self check out registers so you can get in and out quickly.
Other then that is good friendly and helpful staff, plenty of parking and easy to navigate the store.

These 5 stars are for Sal in the paint department!! Went out of his way to help, was professional and seemed very knowledgeable! Hard to find help In big box stores these days as a customer, he made my visit fast and pleasant. And I hope these positive reviews reflect in his next review! Thanks again

I just recently purchased a brand new washer and dryer. They even had them in stock and was able to take home same day! My husband and I decided to get a front load washer which ended up having a leak, as a brand new washer I had it returned and Lowe’s even came and picked it up and brought a new washer same day! We were missing some small parts that are easy to miss. So after some time of calling and getting very frustrated I finally talked with Sean the manager in the appliance department. WOW. He is the most professional and nicest person to speak with. He handled my issue of the misses parts in the matter of 20 minutes and I left with a smile on my face. Thank you Sean manager in appliance.

We bought a rug there for 100 dollars. When we got home and unwrapped the area rug, it wasn't like new. Strings hanging from the seams, it looked used. Disappointed, so we took it back. Too bad, I would have done my hallway, stairs and our nursery/guest room with the rugs that had that print. The people that worked there were kind and were helpful on getting us refunded. Still love Lowes!! Great place, great prices and I love shopping there. 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I am a frequent customer here I spend upwards of thousands of dollars here every other month. My experience was with Corey. Any time my transaction is over $100 dollars I use my military discount. So I believe the cashiers are not doing there job and it made my experience with Corey a little frustrating. I was asked for my military ID. ( I guess none of the reps ask me when I tell them I have a military discount. ) they just click yes and move on. So this morning I expected to not need anything but my debit card on me, Cory asked me for my Military Id. I didn’t have it on me and explained that no one else asks me for it, so why was I being asked for it today. Fortunately I find out that Corey actually takes his job serious. So I got upset at him and explained that I’m used to never having it on me because I’m never asked for it at this location. So I got upset with him for him doing his job because other people aren’t. Corey was friendly and understanding but it was really sad knowing that he basically had a bad interaction with me because of other people not doing there job and actually asking for identification when they should be when applying discounts. Corey definitely deserves some recognition from the store manager at the very least. He made an upset customer happy and I will still continue to do business at this location.

In many ways I like them better than Home depot simply because if you have a store credit card with them you get 5% off all purchases or 10% if you are a contractor. One can argue that they could just be more expensive than Depot by 5-10% but they are not. They try to keep their prices in line with the Home Depot in my area and the discount is what tips me into purchasing from them instead of buying from depot unless depot happens to be the only one that carries what I am looking for.
