Big Y World Class Market

local super...wife does not like taking me along...
she ends up spending too much...clean well stocked store...got it all.. reasonable prices.. they are all high...where ever you go..smart shoppers use circulars and do store brands...wife likes this one more so than the others in town..

Big Y here in Simsbury, CT is AWESOME!!! Everyone is pleasant and very helpful. I unfortunately had an experience when I passed out while at the cashier. Manager could not have been more kind and helpful. I go often and LOVE BIG Y💚

Very Good & Positive Experience Today, everything is well organized & very clean all the areas. Prices are so good, Tyler one of the employees help us to find an item, he was very help you. They do carry Goya line groceries l. VERY GOOD PRICED.

I never used to shop here but I recently started coming here more they have a huge variety of things that I like or that my family likes that I can't get anywhere else. And although I've live here most of my life and have been here numerous times before only about a month ago did I notice that they have a beautiful display of historical photos of Torrington at the entrance of the automatic doors which made me love it even more

One of the best super markets with a wide range of products under one roof. Very friendly cashiers and managers. I would highly recommend this super market!

This big y market always has the items I need in stock. Their seafood is fresh as well as their butcher items. I especially like the north country smokehouse bacon that they have in their deli case.

This grocery store is so clean and welcoming! There were so many great options of already made items, like bakery and take-away meals that smelled SO GOOD!!! Pricing are pretty competitive also!

Huge Clean very nice store. They have everything and then some. Super friendly and courteous staff. On the pricey side. Try the fresh made grinders. The meat and seafood departments are top notch. The bakery is amazing also. Just got a pizza from the hearth baked pizza shop. It is amazing!

Very clean, organized supermarket. Excellent bakery section and products. Very good sandwiches and pre-made meals. Very broad variety of products, a number of them local. Somewhat on the high side with their prices, unless you find a sale.

I have been a Big Y shopper for many years. The Torrington store is always clean and neatly stocked. The staff will lend a hand if you need it. There is a remarkable young woman in the seafood department. She will prepare your seafood order with perfection. We have NEVER been dissatisfied. Her name is Renee.Thank you for your dedication to the customers. We appreciate it.

I have gone to several different Big Ys in my life. But I love this one. Especially the pharmacy, bakery and pizza. The pharmacists have always been very friendly and helpful! The food is always very good. Best bakery around.
I also love the price of beer, sooo much cheaper than any other store.

I love going to the Big y they have so many great products that you can't get in different stores especially local products from different vendors in the area. Whenever you have a question they're always super nice and the checkout areas are in a rush they talk to you a joke around and they're super nice to your kids. It's not going to a small town grocery store but they have all the variety that you need from a big store I highly recommend it!

Fast and easy self checkout with no line. Plenty of sale items on hand and great prices. One of my favorite places to shop for groceries.

My prefer shopping place. You have to shop smart or you can overspend though. I am not a big fan of their world classics brand or any "big y" store brand items. I always enjoy stopping by the back to check out the clearance items. The staff are always pretty helpful and nice as well.

Updated to add they have a lovely selection of flowers and plants here as well. Their donuts are delicious. The grinders have come in clutch for dinners for our family. My husband also loves the sushi here. Lastly, the self checkout area keeps things flowing nicely during busier times. We are very happy to have a Big Y in town!
