2.3.24 We just got pizza and drinks. Suace and toppings were great, crust was a little too think for me, but others liked it. Overall, cozy, casual atmosphere. A local favorite it seems. I'm out of town but would visit again.

The Berkshire Tavern has been providing the best pizza in Torrington for many decades. After not visiting for almost 30 years, I was not dissecting as the food and drinks are high quality and the prices are very affordable. Our server Eve was both friendly and very attentive. Highly recommend.

Walking in i had a flashback to years past. Small and very busy long standing restaurant pub. The homemade chili was made with love, beef galore, menu said pork also, onions, sweet tomato chunks, light on the kidney beans and peppers, a masterpiece. Also had the Buffalo wings which were very good. We got a small pizza, 1/2 sausage, half meatball and onions. The pizza was a cross between the best Greek Pizza and Italian thin crust baked in a a light oil, the pizza was outstanding. The cheese on the pizza was unique and enough on it to more than satisfy. One waitress to 12 tables, she was a superstar. If you're ever in the Harwinton side of Torrington, Go to the Berkshire Cafe, you will not be disappointed.

Fun, neighborhood bar vibe. Classy old building. Simple menu. Great prices. Wonderful service.

Stopped in for a Sunday lunch and glad we did ! We were one of the first customers when opened but by the time we left there wasn’t a seat available We had pizzas with sausage that was later revealed to be homemade and a pastrami sandwhich which was piled on One waitress for the entire bar area as well as table and we never waited for a thing ! We will definitely be coming back !

Always friendly and food is excellent. Never had complaint. Service is wonderful. Keep up the great job you are all doing. 😊❤😊

We came back after a number of years. Absolutely best pizza in the state. Delicious fresh salads. Great bar service. This is where my husband proposed 37 years ago

Had a meatball on garlic bread with cheese, was delicious!! Will definitely be back.

I've had the pizza, cheeseburger grinder (which I recommend putting on garlic bread 🤤 and the French dip. All were fantastic!!!

This place has the best pizza in town. We love going there.. It's a bit old. It's a bit old a bit loud. But if you're into rustic this is the place. My dad even used to work here, and I'm over 60. It's amazing they survived the pandemic. Point of Interest they make their own sausage, and sauce obviously for the pizzas. And two of the pieces can be had by the slice. So if you want a quick lunch you might want to go there too

Only got take out pizza. Bartender/cashier very friendly. Pizza was ready at the time she said it would be. Would like to stop in and eat. Great old school atmosphere.

The Berkshire cafe has been in our lives for over 50 years. As a child in the dining room as my dad visited with his buddies at the bar, to be an adult and dining there with my own family having pizza, food is excellent, staff friendly, seeing friends, nice place to dine

Once again my husband and I were NOT disappointed with the pizza and service. We have been going there for 25yrs+ and they are still our favorite.

Great pan pizza with fresh dough and ingredients. One of best in CT.
Get onion bacon pizza , salad, and a Guinness and you won't regret it.
