Dr. Brenner is not your typical dentist. She has a much more holistic approach and tries to get at the root of your problems. She is concerned with all aspects of your well being, not just your teeth. She has helped me resolve life long sleep issues. I've always sought out holistic dentists for my family. They have way more knowledge about how to maintain good health than most GPs. Her foundation is to create overall wellness through education of nutrition, optimal sleep, and targeted therapies. We would be a much healthier country, if all practitioners were as invested in our health as Dr. Brenner.

Dr. Brenner is a kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable healthcare professional. Before meeting with Dr. Brenner, I had been suffering for over a month because of a missed diagnosis from a different dental practice, which resulted in TMJ issues and debilitating pain and discomfort that only continued to escalate. When I reached out to their office, Dr. Brenner was able to see me that same day for a consultation. Not only did she take the time to listen to my story, she offered me compassion and validation. Through using different techniques and processes of elimination, we discovered that my back molar had a fracture in it. This had been the literal root of my pain for over a month. Dr. Brenner saw me the next day for the root canal. She took her time to explain the process for the procedure and communicated with me throughout the procedure, ensuring that I was as comfortable as I could be. When the root canal was completed, I felt almost instant relief from the pain and discomfort that I had felt for more than a month. Words cannot convey just how grateful I am for Dr. Brenner and her team for helping me. I am finally able to rest/sleep and woke up today feeling refreshed, pretty much pain-free. After over a month of agony, I feel relieved and have renewed hope to move forward with my life.

DR. Brenner did a great job on my dental work I needed. Would have given a ten if I could. She cares about her patients and their other health issues. She went out of her way with her busy schedule to recommend a doctor and organic medications I could take to control my type 2 diabetes .

I have been seeing Dr Brenner for almost 15 years. We used to live in Burlington, but moved to Litchfield 5 years ago. I have been unable to find a dentist that even comes close to her expertise and knowledge of the latest and greatest dental techniques and tools. On my most recent visit, I needed to have a cavity filled. As usual, Dr Brenner had an amazing new tool, a specialized laser! The laser is used in place of a drill for cavities, and has several other dental work functions. My favorite part is that she doesn’t need to use any Novocain, and there is absolutely no pain! I was doubtful at first... but was astonished when my very large filling caused no discomfort at all, even several days later. Thanks again Dr Brenner and Mel (her incredible assistant). I’m so glad that I decided to stay on you dedicated dental staff to take care of all my needs.

I tried Dr Brenner without any recommendation or foreknowledge of her services. I needed two crowns and a tooth extracted, so it was not a typical cleaning and check-up. There was no surprise as to what I needed. I fully expected this diagnosis. What I did not expect was a different kind of dental experience. Dr. Brenner was very patient with me, sensing my anxiety over the forthcoming procedure. She took the time to describe everything and answered all questions, and never rushed me so she could move on to the next patient. My previous dentist, although quite capable, made me feel like an account, not a person with feelings and nervousness. This was only the second time I have had a tooth pulled so I was tense. She made sure I would feel no pain by frequently checking that the local anesthesia was working. Dr. Brenner and staff made the experience as nice as can be expected. I will become a regular patient going forward, and my trip to the dentist will be much less stressful. She had prescribed the same pain killer as in an unfavorable review listed on Google. I also had an infection and pain in my tooth when she first saw me, and thus had me on antiB for a week prior to the extraction, so the nagging pain had subsided prior to getting the tooth pulled. Waiting a week may have made all the difference, because the non-narcotic drug she prescribed masked all pain and yet I was clear-headed. I think her prescribing a non-narcotic shows her concern to avoid anything habit-forming. My other dentist never cared about this side effect. After the extraction, she called me later that evening to check on my condition. She also gave me her cell phone number just in case I needed her. This was something my other dentists never did. I have full confidence in Dr. Brenner to be my dentist from now on.

I just had an new experience today when Dr. Brenner used a laser device to fix a small cavity instead of using the old fashioned drill that had a sound and a feel that I remember would vibrate your brain as your hands produced a death grip on the dentist chair every time the drill was turned on used to cut away the decayed part of the tooth. I was amazed how quick, painless and far less stressful the procedure was using this laser device. I don't recommend getting cavities, but if you do this is the way to go to get them fixed.

I have been a patient (as well as whole family) for over 16 years. We are very happy with her as our dentist. Taking care of our teeth and more. Currently she is helping me save my teeth. I apparently have a habit of clenching (stress related) and had cracked a few molars. She repaired the cracks but is really helping me protect and preserve what I have left with TMJ treatment. I am feeling so much better all over and really appreciate what Dr. Brenner and her staff are doing for me. I am sleeping so much better too. 5 stars

I went in yesterday after a weekend with tooth pain. She diagnosed the problem by thoroughly asking me questions and gave me my options. I decided to have the root canal procedure, and I cannot stress how well I was treated; I really felt in good hands. Her assistant Melody followed up with me the next day to check on my recovery and that type of customer service is very rare these days. I sincerely recommend Dr Brenner and her highly professional staff.

I always have a positive experience! Laurie, Mel and Dr. Brenner are kind and knowledgeable. As far as quality of care goes - 5 stars
Billing, eh, I can see where some have given negative feedback. I think it's a software / insurance issue. I don't have great dental insurance and typically pay more for dental care than I'd like. The practice has patients remit at time of payment based on what they expect insurance to reimburse at, which is rarely as expected. (This is common though)
Cleanliness is good, I just wish they would consider replacing the carpet with something that can get disinfected. It's not terrible though. I've never had any concerns with sterilization / infection control.
I would recommend this practice.

After suffering with TMJ issues for 20 years, Dr Brenner's treatment has me pain free. She uses the latest and greatest information and advances in dentistry and is really on the cutting edge. Its amazing being pain free, no more clicking of my jaw with every bite of food, I would have never believed it could be possible. This is different than a regular dentist, most do not know about these types of TMJ treatments, I was even told by my dentist there's nothing else that can be done - there is, Dr Brenner proves it, highly recommend!

I had been searching for a Dentist for quite some time. I was scared because I knew I had issues in my mouth and wanted to make sure I was choosing the right dentist to help me take care of them. I had driven past this Dentist office on my way to work and back. A few months later, I ran into serious trouble in my mouth. I could not close my jaw, and I was in serious pain. This is the point where I realized I was in trouble and I needed to find someone I could trust and who would do great quality work. I sat down at my computer and decided to look up that dentist I passed each day. Dr. Bethaney B. Brenner, DMD, LLC. Her website is very well built, informative and made me feel calm. This is when I decided to call her office. From past experience, you never get to talk to the doctor… never. It was her, she was on the phone with me. I was so amazed; it was as if I was calling a friend, yet we had never talked before. We talked about my current mouth issues and soon I was making an appointment. Between the phone conversation and my very first visit she helped me understand how important it was that I did not wait any longer, she was very right. Her office made me feel comfortable, exactly what I was hoping to find. I was so scared; her office staff welcomed me in with open arms. They took x-rays that were so simple I did not even have to get out of the chair. I was able to view each and every x-ray with her and physically see and walk through what was going on with all my teeth. She and her staff helped me understand what I was looking at and what all my options were to help make everything better. I was prescribed some medicine to help bring down the inflammation and fight off infection, and I scheduled an appointment for a Root Canal the very next day. Upon arriving the next day I was scared but calmer. One thing that makes life better at this office is that the staff talks to you and keeps you informed, you feel like a person not a number. Dr. Brenner came in and ran through the entire process of what would be going on for my root canal, as everything got started I began to get really scared and had been in pain for so many weeks with hardly any sleep, tears just came pouring out, I was a mess. She actually took the time to help me calm down, breathe and talked me through this nuclear meltdown and got be back to ground zero. I was so much calmer, ready for what was ahead. As we moved through the process, she kept me informed about what she was doing, what I would be feeling and how comfortable I was. She said to me from the beginning, that I would be amazed at how I feel when this is all over and that I would be laughing about it, she was right. Next thing I know I am looking at the x-ray of my newly fixed tooth, it was perfect and I was laughing. I would highly recommend her for anyone no matter what you are seeking, regular visits or serious issues.

Due to bad experiences as a teenager, I had a huge fear of dentists.... until someone highly recommended Dr. Brenner. I needed some extensive dental work, she was very patient with me and spent the time to explain what needed to be done. She gave me suggestions to help calm my fears and get me through many appointments. She and her assistant Mel always made me feel comfortable. I am very pleased with all the dental work she did and now I can actually go to the dentist without fear, kind of feels like I am just going to visit a friend. Thank you Dr. Bethany Brenner for giving me my smile back.

To say I have a crippling fear of dentists is an understatement. I had years of orthodontic work that still affects my smile and my confidence to this day. That's why when I had such bad pain in my tooth that required a root canal, and another dentist couldn't see me for six weeks...I knew I couldn't live with the pain. I frantically searched for a dentist in CT that could help ease my nerves. I knew that if I couldn't find someone I was comfortable with, that I would never get my teeth treated, even if just for routine checkups. That's when I found Dr. Brenner on google. My husband called her for me the next day and although I didn't want to miss work, she stressed to see me the same day to assess my pain, and subsequently gave me my root canal. She spent about an hour talking me through the procedure and then performed the root canal. She suggested wearing headphones which was perfect. I won't say it was pleasant, but I left knowing that the pain was gone, and I would feel comfortable going back to see her in the future. I am still not totally over my fear, but Dr. Brenner and her assistant, Mel practically held my hand through a stressful and quite frankly traumatizing experience. I am thankful for her graciousness and genuinely caring. I'm now on a plan to get my smile and my tooth health back on track. 5 stars...plus a million more!

Dr Brenner & staff have been ridiculously accomodating with regard to working around my schedule, which has been such a blessing. They clearly are using the latest technologies and are very knowledgeable regarding invisalign. I was able to get a quicker result with invisalign for the same price as braces would have cost! I am looking forward to doing a DTR therapy with her, as she was trained by the innovator of the therapy, without having to travel hours into Boston. VERY happy customer!

Dr. Brenner is an amazing orthodontist. Her methods are as noninvasive and as wholistic as possible.

As someone who values both science and wholistic health, her practice brings both sides of modern technology and deeply considerate, open, and communication based treatment. She took a full view of what I was looking to accomplish with my orthodontic treatment and planned something with consideration of my needs and my budget.

Her whole staff was warm, welcoming and good humored. Not to mention a staff of all women, which seems to be a rarity in the medical world. It's something which I appreciate since female centric practices are often better at listening and not talking over you, which is something I'm sure any woman reading this will understand. Nobody in this office will talk down to you or make you feel inferior.

The office is down to earth but very clean.
They use 3-D scans to figure out your orthodontic treatment, which is cutting edge and mess free (Vs traditional impressions)
They work with your budget.

My new orthodontist and dentist. I'll update this review with my treatment results.

A review regarding a dental implant: My situation was such that Dr. Brenner indicated I was a good candidate for an implant and being a little hesitant I of course had a lot of question. We sat down and she answered my questions and explained in detail what happens during and after the procedure all of which were "on the money." It was a short procedure; the novacaine taking most of the time. The procedure itself was painless and I suffered NO pain after the procedure--ate a normal meal for supper, took two advil and in hindsight probably could've done without the advil. Hard to believe it could be as simple as she said it would be--but it was.
