A family favorite! The best pizza around! The monthly specials are always fun and soo good!

Far and beyond the best pizza in NW Connecticut. The Caesar salads, both regular and the kale, are also fantastic as well as the meatballs. Super friendly service and relaxed atmosphere. We especially like eating on the back patio during warmer weather. Marzano’s is a must stop whenever we are in Torrington.

We come here all the time - it’s kid friendly so we bring our 4 year old with us often but would do a casual date night here too. Even when it’s packed the service is pretty quick. You order up at the counter so you can choose if you want to stretch out the mealtime or just get a quick bite. Our personal favorite is the New Yorker but you honestly can’t go wrong… the 5 cent beer refills are nice to have too :)

I am here again! March 4th, 2024! The aroma when you get out of your car leads you in to the delicious food that awaits you! Eating Italian wings and Margarita pizza!!! Excellent service.... excellent rewards program! Loving it!

Last night we ate again at Mazano's!!!! Delicious! Had our regular choices of the beet salad, parm chicken wings and Margherita pizza!! It was all DELICIOUS! Service was great attentive!! The place was very busy, but they kept up! What a team!! Thank you for delicious food!!!

April 2023 - Regrettable we have not been here in this much time. We were craving a fine pizza returning to CT and had to try the proscuitto and clam again along with the Italian wings. Perfection. As I wrote in earlier reviews, the end product of the dough baked at high temps in their custom oven is divine.

Happy to return Friday with temperatures warm for mid-March in New England. Customers were already choosing to sit outside and the place was packed. Because it was after 4:00, we had to try the Grandma Pie. We chose three toppings: sweet Italian sausage, clams and porcini mushrooms. Sicilian style in terms of thickness, it's surprisingly light and airy for its appearance and depth but still has a nice texture with crunch. It's an amazing pizza to behold and savor. A second order of their Italian wings was everything we remembered. I noticed many people ordered salads that came with crusty bread so they must be good, too.

Pizza is consistently featured in my reviews and I have to agree with Dave Portnoy, founder of Barstool Sports, when he declared on his "One Bite Pizza Reviews" YouTube channel, Connecticut has the best pizza. His only inaccuracy in this statement was confining the best pizza to New Haven. Outstanding pizza can be found throughout the state, from small towns to large cities, North, South, East and West. My top ten list doesn't even include New Haven, but food preferences are always personal.

Which brings me to Pizzeria Marzano. Incredible. Unlike Portnoy, I hesitate to try new pizza places, because I have enough favorites already that deliver every time. But my partner and I were out and needed to eat. Not in the mood for other cuisine, I mentioned this restaurant. He said, "let's go."

There is just no way I can't give Pizzeria Marzano five stars, though I wrestled with this rating having only eaten here once, no table service, no full bar or pasta dinners. You order at the counter and they bring your food after you've chosen where to sit (large dining space/high ceilings industrial style), they have a decent wine list, a few on tap, and excellent local beer menu all on tap, and are basically a pizza only restaurant. Who cares? Their food is exceptional.

The Italian wings (garlic, herbs, parmesan) are to die for, and our Clam & Prosciutto pizza was amazing. The brick wood-fired oven they had built in Southern Italy, (check out their website 'about' page) fires up to 800 degrees. Tiling was done by local Torrington craftsmen. This creation made both the wings and the pizza masterful.

The wings have intense flavor, the crisp on the lightly charred skin is sheer perfection and the traditional blue cheese or ranch dressing with carrot sticks is not needed here. I passed on both. The pizza actually has baby clams in the shell, not the usual minced canned clams. A fresh ball of mozzarella centered in the pizza with a leaf of basil is a fine garnish. These guys are serious.

They do offer seven salads, nine starters, and six or seven paninis or wraps. After 4 PM they offer a Roman style pizza "Grandma Pie" that the Chef actually went to Rome to learn how to make traditionally and perfectly. We can't wait to try it among many other things.

There is a large outdoor seating area in seasonal months, a tented-in outdoor room also throughout most of the year, multiple reserved parking spaces for curbside pickup, and when purchasing a glass of wine, you have the option of buying a poker chip that will give you a second glass for five cents! They also carry a variety of non and low alcohol beverage labels such as Boylan Bottling Co. and Truly. Tuesday's offer 20% off on take-out orders. Mondays have $5. Margherita pizzas from 11:30-4:00.

Love Pizza Marzano! The beet salad is my absolute favorite. My daughter and grandson love the meatballs. Every pizza we’ve tried has been delicious. Hubby loves the sweet chili wings. And they have a loyalty program that you earn points to redeem coupons. Love that you can buy a drink and get a $.05 refill. My favorite restaurant in the area.

The food is delicious. Brick oven fired pizza. The prices are a little high, but the quality is pretty good. Service is always quick and food comes out quickly.

Our business dinner getaway staff favorite! Personable, friendly service at the counter; excellent, on-the-ball staff. Wood-fired pizza by request 'well-done' to perfection (Quattro Fromaggio consistently at the top), a Caesar salad that is second to none. You realize what gems this place delivers especially acutely when you visit other cities and more expensive restaurants; and are only happy to, once again, 'return to Marzano'.

What a great place to go with co workers. Awesome gluten free pizza. They also have a great wine refill offer for a nickel...or a quarter. Something like that.

Officially my favorite pizza spot! It's been great since the first time I went to the old location probably 7 years ago. The food is consistently great, the staff are friendly. You can't beat 5 cent refills on beer and wine either! My favorite pizza is the New Yorker. It's a great spot for dates, family night, or takeout. The patio outside was a great addition. The rewards program is awesome!

We love going to Marzano’s for a quick and tasty lunch on the weekends! Get a slice of grandma’s pie. My husband gets the cheese and I usually try the specialty pizza. The slice they give is big and filling! We also love to share a small Gorgonzola salad. Plenty of food for 2! The service is always been prompt and friendly!

If you’re going for the first time, I think the ordering at the counter can throw people off. We always grab a seat and menu, figure out what we want, then order at the counter. The waitstaff is constantly walking around so if you need anything they provide it quickly.

Stop your search and eat here. This is it. This place will have fireworks going off in your head like the scene where Ratatouille mixes strawberries and cheese for the first time.
I don't write reviews and honestly embarrassed to even have my name on here but some reviews left here forced me to grab my pitchfork. The one guy who wrote "the toppings are yummy and fresh" then immediately says "overall not very good" should be banned from writing reviews. Taste is subjective but there's an exception to every rule and this place is it. I can list my pizza resume here for some credentials or you can just trust me bro. Do yourself a favor and eat here. Chef here is a surgeon. Expertly crafts his dough and even imports it from Italy.

Cool clean industrial vibe, full wine list, nice bar area, and more importantly, good pizza and easy parking since I went with takeout. Pizza was great - thicker than a Wooster or Pepe's slice, covered with ingredients, and delicious. Do recommend.

A great meal with fresh ingredients! Certainly both plates were empty at the end. They have an extensive menu with great combinations for both pizzas and salads. Definitely would go back!

More than a step above the average pizza place. The place seems proud of their relatively new location and their food. We had meatballs, two different salads, the cheese board, and the margarita pizza. Everything was great. First time here, but will be happy to come back soon.

Love their gluten free pizzas! They have a really cute seating arrangement inside and outside, and great non alcoholic beverages in their beverage cooler - Italian mineral waters, etc.!

Yum!! The place is so nice,clean and cozy. It smells delicious in here! I ordered three different pizzas and wings, sooo good.Nice thin crust, yummy sauce. Definitely will be returning.

Great place to stop for family friendly environment. With the temperatures rising the outdoor patio is very comfortable. Great location across from BJ'S. Plenty of parking easy in and out.
