I had the pleasure of Charles helping me at the checkout counter yesterday! He was very compassionate and met all of my needs. Made me feel welcome!! Makes a difference to be taken care of by nice people. The young lady in photos was very nice as well

I was wary of the reviews but this was the only pharmacy in the area that had my medication in stock. Everyone I talked to was absolutely lovely and went above and beyond to make sure I got my medicine in a timely manner. Thank you!

The Male Pharmacist (not sure his name) is a peach. He stayed open little later and waited for my daughter to arrive so my husband would have his Eliquist for the weekend.
He's a sweetheart. Great guy. Girls in front are very nice and no matter how bad a day their having they always treat you with a smile.
You all are doing such a great job even during this time.

Great experience tonight at this location. Hardworking staff in the pharmacy and a pharmacist going out of his way to support a customer. Applause on high for this pharmacy’s efforts and a sincere thank you.

I have used a local pharmacy for several years but Walgreens is a preferred provider with my insurance, so I tried them. Very satisfied with their knowledge and service. I now use them for all health needs even though I live in another town.

I like using this Walgreens on East Main in Torrington...I have one huge gripe and that is their drive thru has been closed for weeks!!! I have a hard time walking and their pharmacy is in the back of the store so when they call and say we have a partial medication ready I just cringe because I know I have to walk not once but twice to get the remaining medication. PLEASE OPEN YOUR DROVE THRU!! This is why alot of people go through the drive thru because of their disabilities. I will give more stars when its back open.

Where to even start? The store section is fine. The Pharmacy zero...ZERO STARS!!!! Switched rx's from Torr. N. Elm pharmacy to the E. Main location a couple yrs ago, bc I thought there was no possible way it could be worse...IT IS! Monthly maintenance meds, NEVER in stock & having to wait until who knows when for deliveries, or scripts to be filled! No matter when called in, therefore missing doses...UNACCEPTABLE!
Staff...forget about it, even the Pharmacist doesn't seem to care about his job! I have no faith nor trust left in the staff @ this location. If you would like to leave your life in the hands of someone who either no longer cares, or who just has no idea about pharmaceuticals & recalls...then by all means this is the pharmacy for you. Not me!
***After receiving a pre-recorded message today about an inhaler recall & the message advising to call your local walgreens if you needed more info or had questions, I called. (wanted to make sure my inhaler was not within that lot of albuterol recalled) I'll quote the ignorant response to my question, the Pharmacist @ E. Main @ 6pm 10/4/23 told me "there is no recall, there hasn't been any recalls since @ least Jan 2023. It's a problem w/corp phone system & generating calls in error". I let him know CVS sent out letters a couple weeks ago to there customers letting them know of this exact recall & he said..."Idk anything about CVS's drugs or recalls, but we have had no recalls". Recalls are nationwide!

***WRONG!!!!! Do NOT trust them! CVS has verified the recall. This is the second time a recall has occurred & this pharmacy has IGNORED it! Basically denies recalls exist which can, in turn hurt or even kill a person. THIS IS REPORTED TO WALGREENS CORP & will be reported to the DCP DRUG CONTROL.
In some professions being lazy & cutting corners can kill.
CVS HERE I COME!

Went into Torrington CT, East main st location to mail a prepaid fedex package and the old lady was so rude and condescending. My label wasn’t attached to the box and treated me like I was the scum of the earth even after I asked to use some tape told me leave. Wow, just wow

Poor customer service including the manager!! Walked in the store and see a nice gentleman standing at the front waiting for a cashier. I asked if anyone was around and he said she's the only one, the employee at photo counter and I've been waiting here 20 mins. I asked for the manager due to an issue with my receipt and the manager was RUDE! Exactly why I don't shop anymore at this location or use their pharmacy due to so many mistakes that had been made.

Horrible experience. I should have listened to the reviews. The pharmacist is very condescending, unprofessional and literally lied to me on the phone to defend her ineffective staff assistant. Walgreen's corporate office better find themselves some better help. Picking up scripts and transferring to CVS!

The pharmacy isn’t up to date with the CT policies on picking up narcotic medications. My Dr. keeps telling me, per state regulations, you need to call your pharmacy to refill your prescriptions and if the pharmacist needs something from the Dr., the pharmacist will contact the Dr.’s office.
I called back and forth at least 7 times until my Dr.’s office finally just gave up and told me they will send the prescription.
During my calls back and forth, the pharmacist yelled to fight with me saying I don’t know what I’m talking about when I was being directed by my Dr.’s office, even gave them the information to look up the new state policy/law.

That was almost a year ago and still today, they haven’t changed.

I am T1D. I needed insulin syringes yesterday. I went in and asked- the pharmacy tech asked “regular 10 gauge?” And I agreed. Somehow she gave me 28 gauge needles. Huge difference. Kind of a big deal. She was very flatlined when speaking to me. Definitely more of a cold demeanor. Also, they did not check my license (illegal) They just do not care.

I HIGHLY suggest you all go somewhere other than Walgreens. i have had so many issues with the Walgreens Pharmacy manager in Torrington, CT. Over and over, they send you texts saying your scripts are ready and then, because if you’re disabled, you ask someone to get it for you, they tell your caretaker that theres nothing ready. it’s a real pain in the butt when you have to go someplace multiple times because they lie to you. I called to ask if it was ready and they say it’s ready.

The pharmacy manager will NEVER let you finish a sentence and refunds a mistake when not even given the proper insurance cause he won’t let you finish a sentence.

I will use up my points and will NEVER GO BACK AGAIN and suggest you save yourself the headache.

Do not go to them for pharmacy concerns. I have been diagnosed with a UTI and the doctor has sent it last night. I understand because it was closed already it might take longer.

It’s been almost a day and the scripts STILL aren’t ready!

As the saying goes, "If its dirty on the outside, its dirty on the inside". It takes months for this level of layered rust to accumulate on a building. Location is very negligent in this appearance. It's July, there has been ample time to clean this. Therefore, you want to trust that everything is clean in their pharmacy with your prescription? Wonder what else they are negligent and dirty with. I'll pass.

I am very disappointed with the photos I had ordered prints of. One of my photos was actually cut. I wish I could add a picture, there is a quarter of the photo cut off! The pictures are very blurry and when I look at the digital ones that I sent, they are not blurry in any way. The only saving thing was that the prints were fairly cheep. I'm sticking with Shutterfly and I suggest others do also.

Stay away. Do not rely on them for covid testing either. Had a 10:00AM appointment. Get there, the tester is not there. Get a call at 11:30 AFTER my appointment telling me the appointment is cancelled. Major issues as this was required for travel. Absolutely no service recovery or solutions proposed either.
