Recently had my truck lift-gate repaired. They did a great job, very efficient and made it look brand new. I’ve used this company ever since my first accident, their top-notch, and a family own business.

My experience with Vinny at JR's was limited but he was super friendly and knowledgeable for the entire process so I really wanted to write a review out of appreciation.
A dead tree trunk fell onto my windshield, and initially it looked like it would be an easy fix, but we (me, the insurance people, and Vinny) all wondered if there was some damage in the engine compartment, which part of the trunk pierced into.
From the start, Vinny talked about his strategy when working with insurance companies, and everything he said made a lot of sense. He's knowledgeable about how insurance companies operate in the region.
Unfortunately my insurance company declared my car a total loss, so I can't say anything specific about the quality of Vinny's repairs. What I can say is that he walked me through every issue they found, the conundrum they faced in determining whether it was totaled or not, and let me know the next steps. It all made sense to me by the end of it. He never spoke down to me.

Vinny didn't get much money out of taking care of my car and all the time spent explaining things to me: he just got a storage fee for a few days. It's clear his top priority is good service and not the bottom line. I also asked him about his thoughts on a couple of cars I might buy as a replacement, and he was happy to provide his insights, which were valuable.

I told him I don't want to need auto body repair any time soon, but if I end up needing it, I know where to go.

After 3 conversations about a car I wanted to buy and notifying them I was coming from Ct they sold the car to someone else. So I drove from Torrington Ct to Springfield Mass for nothing. When I said why did you do that, they laughed in my face. I refuse to do business with anyone like this. That get a failing grade. This review is unfair and not intended for this business. It was intended for Jordans Auto of Springfield Mass. As far as JRs Auto Body goes Vinny and the business get A++++, ***** rating from me.

Vinnie did an excellent job on my truck plus brought me home, then picked me up when they were done. Reasonable price too.

Kept pushing back on delivery. Always had to call for updates. Made an appointment to pickup the car and the owner never showed up. Did not see my car on the premises.
