Was welcomed warmly as soon as I walked in the door. The energy the salon gave off was absolutely welcoming and calming. I’m obsessed with the uniqueness of the entire salon. Staff was all very kind, I felt like I had been going there for years! My stylist Jaclyn was incredible she was so friendly and extremely talented. She took her time with me and even took the time to help me learn how to style my new hair length. 10/10 recommend! Coming from NYC, this was the first salon I felt “at home” and empowered at the same time.

If you are looking for a welcoming salon full of great people who do great work, this is it. The atmosphere of this salon is like no other, it is decorated beautifully and to me I feel so relaxed every time I go to get my hair done here. Jillian is my go to for anything, color or cuts she can do it all. I have never loved my hair more than when Jill has done it, and I recommend her 100%

I want to truly recommend both Platinum Salon - The Violet Revolution and especially Jaclyn, a stylist there. Everyone at Platinum is so nice and pleasant to talk with and supportive of each other and their work they do on clients. The whole vibe of the salon is fun, laid back, and bewitching. I look forward to every appointment I have there.

Jaclyn is the BEST stylist I've had in my life. She's so friendly and knowledgeable and such a dedicated and hard worker. She will absolutely go that extra mile for her clients and is open with suggestions, but never pushes. I never feel like she's trying to upsell me like they try to do at other salons. She offers multiple choices and makes sure you're comfortable and understand everything. She is so extremely competent in both hair and makeup. She just did my hair and makeup for my wedding, and I've never felt more beautiful.

I went to Platinum Salon recently to get my hair done for my wedding and had a WONDERFUL experience there.

I normally hate going to get my hair done and it's been more than six years since the last time I had to do it, but since I was wearing my mother's veil, I wasn't very confident in my ability to do my hair correctly by myself and decided to make an appointment with Platinum.

I went in with my veil on the day of the wedding, explained that I didn't really know what I wanted done and that I just needed something that would stay up through the day and that would allow my veil to stay in place, and that my hair usually didn't stay in place or hold a curl very well. The woman who I had the appointment with, Shannon, was super helpful and understanding. She had me look on Instagram to pick out a hairstyle that I liked, and then put my hair up in a way that was both comfortable and durable. (I actually ended up falling asleep with it in, and when I woke up it was still all where it started!) She and another woman whose name I didn't get (she might have been the owner?) were both super helpful and really put me at ease about the whole experience. I had been really nervous going in because I didn't know what to ask for, but they did an amazing job and were very kind, professional and understanding throughout. The price for the service seemed very reasonable. I got a lot of compliments on my hair during the wedding, too!

I'm super grateful to Platinum Salon for helping to make this day really special for me and my husband, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a high-quality, professional salon experience in our area!

I called ahead to see if there was availability and I was lucky enough to be fit right in to get my hair cut! I loved chatting with the ladies and my hair turned out AMAZING! I highly recommend a visit here if you are looking for a fantastic cut and fantastic people. The atmosphere is welcoming and it is super easy to find with parking! 10/10 highly recommend!

Platinum salon is my favorite salon I’ve had the pleasure of getting my haircuts from. The staff is kind, friendly and welcoming. I’ve never gotten a bad haircut from Platinum. They always do an outstanding job, it’s a professional quality haircut each time. And just the general atmosphere and energy of the salon is groovy and upbeat. I moved to Torrington about 3 months ago and I’ve only gotten my haircut here. Very nice atmosphere and Diane, the owner does a wonderful job cutting my hair and is very kind 10/10 would recommend. Also great smoothies available

This was my first time Platinum Salon. The salon is located at118 Migeon avenue and is one of the many beautiful old home in that area. The hair stylist was quite engaging and very professional. This is the best salon! I live 3 miles from Newbury Street in Boston, the area with the best salons in the world, and I drive to this salon to get my hair done. I get modern Newbury Street service, cut, color and products for half the price! LOVE this salon!!!! The hairdressers stay up to date with the latest cuts and techniques.

Diane is AMAZING! Transformed my dark brown processed hair into ashy blonde in just two sessions. If you’re looking for beautiful blonde she is your answer!
