Carvel

I went in for Sunday brunch and am glad I did. I was greeted by friendly, smiling faces who share my love of ice cream. The ice cream was as perfect as I had remembered after having not been to a Carvel in quite a while. You owe it to yourself to have such an experience.

Nostalgia is the word. This is still one of the best locations and the best ice cream, anything you want anyway you want. Very attentive.

Went with my grand-kids last week. A+ all the way around. Great Ice Cream! Great service! Decent pricing. I think it'd be better if they would be open an hour later.

Amazing. Very clean and the staff are very pleasant. I really think it's worth the walk on a nice fall/spring day. The price seems a bit much but I figure that's due to the quality. I remember going to Carvel as a kid in Naugatuck on rt 63. Now it's a closed down American pie pizza place. I'm not sure how many Carvel's are left. Never looked into it. I'm just glad this one is here in Torrington!!

Love this place so much. Its something I've never had in Nebraska before and when I tried it for the first time over ten years ago here I loved it so much. I love the flavor

Best ice-cream I have had in a long time! Grandma used to take me here as a child many years ago. Still delicious. Staff was friendly too.

I stopped at Carvel"s with my family for an afternoon treat. Their shake's were excellent, as well as their freshly scooped ice cream. They have a good quarantine safe system to keep customers separated and safe.
They're definitely a MUST for your ice cream cravings!

It was wonderful going to a Carvel after 17 years of living in CA where there aren't any! Heather, the woman who helped me, was so nice and fun to talk to. The ice cream was just as I remembered from living on Long Island most of my life.

Absolutely love their shakes/ice creams etc. The staff are super friendly and respectful.

Carvel's ice cream is really good but their medium size is really big and hard to finish.(If you don't like sweet stuff that much I recommend getting a small.) Great place though.

I enjoy coming here for ice cream, they have not let me down yet. Decent sized parking lot and picnic tables for outdoor eating.

Carvels is always excellent. Very consistent.
Today though I enjoyed 2 chilli dogs from a young lady with a Hot Dog cart that is next to Carvel. What a perfect combination for a quick lunch and a treat with your kids.

The hot dogs were Hummel and the Chilli and fixing were good and fresh. Nice to support local people running Small Businesses.

Stopped in to pick up a strawberry shake for a friend- always friendly service and excellent quality. The shake put a smile on a friend's face 🙂

Plenty of flavors and toppings to choose from. Always delicious icecream and the prices aren't that bad either. Try a dasher! You won't be disappointed!
